Met my grandson and grand daughter in law here for a TACO Tuesday lunch. TACO prices are $6.99, includes two racos and a drink. We ordered at the counter and waited at a high top for our order to be delivered. Tacos were freshly made and the chips were fresh as well. The self serve sauces were a good condiment for our tacos and chips. The ground beef tacos, hard and soft, were very good. The lady enjoyed her soft Shrimp tacos as well. This is a walk up counter order "fresh made" food. It's not good lol it's actually quite bland it's like chipotles Midwest cousin who comes to visit. They do have a bunch of hot sauces to add to your food which you're going to need cause the food has no flavor. I've given this Tijuana Flats location two chances, and both times were a complete disaster. The first time, I placed an Uber Eats order that ended up getting canceled because the restaurant took over an hour and a half just to prepare the food. Completely unacceptable. I figured I'd give them another shot in person -- big mistake. I went in on Taco Tuesday expecting a quick bite, and it still took 25 minutes to get two basic crunchy tacos. There were only a few other customers, yet the wait times were ridiculous. The staff seemed completely disengaged. The manager walked around aimlessly while trays and trash piled up everywhere. It was 8:30 PM and the place looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. Worst of all, when I finally got my food, it was cold -- it had obviously been sitting there for a while before anyone bothered to hand it to me. This place is poorly managed, filthy, and slow beyond reason. I can't imagine what a lunch rush looks like if this is how they handle a slow evening. Tijuana Flats used to be decent, but this location has seriously gone downhill. Not going back. read more

Ambiance is food chain usual. They serve beer so that's cool. :) Food was okay, nothing I would rave about. Corn chips served with all dishes. The service was good, the manager making sure the dining area was clean. The hot sauce bar has a lot of sugary sauces? The service was extremely rude -- poor attitude, back talk, and very unprofessional. Customer service matters, especially in food service, and this experience was disappointing. Walk in a the manager is having a full blown out conversation with a table that she obviously knows. Her child is sitting at the table running in and out of the kitchen. I walked up to get a refill and she's on her phone. She tells me I can step around and the cashier can get me a refill. The cashier had a family of 5 she was taking from. They get more than 1 star because the food is actually good. Kind of bums me out too leave this review the chain but this location has terrible service/is run poorly. 1. I would stray away from ordering pick up. They ignore these orders. Expect your order to come out 2-3x longer than the app says If the app says its complete, that's going to be a lie(probably so they can skew order time data). You will see several people walk in the store, order 20 mins after you did and all get theirs first. 2. Always open the tied plastic bags and check your order. They short me 50% of the time. Order chips and queso? Prob either no queso or no chips. Megajuana? Sometimes they'll sneak in a minijuana. 3. Be prepared to show up and have them tell you they don't have the items available to make the order you alreasy ordered. Great chain, but maybe stay away from this location read more

Tijuana Flats is a nice place to go on date night for my husband and I. We like to come here on Tuesdays to take advantage of their taco Tuesday deal. We spend under $20 and we both get 2 tacos, chips and a drink! The food here is good. The atmosphere in every Tijuana Flats I've been in has been the same. It's very colorful, the walls and ceilings all have something to look at. The music is usually very upbeat. The people are generally friendly. Once I came here and they forgot about part of my order completely for 30 or so minutes before I went back to ask about it. Then they forgot it again! And finally I went back a second time and they confusedly realized I still hadn't gotten my dessert item. Anywho, small things aside, we like Tijuana Flats. It's grown on my husband. I love the sauces here and the atmosphere is familiar and nice. It's usually very clean, too! Overall, definitely worthy of four stars. I actually drove 25 mins to this location because I wanted Tijuana Flats and I was near only Taco Bell. I ordered while I was far away so I wouldn't have to wait since I traveled there with small children who were hungry and cranky. I get there to find my order not ready, the person who was checking out my order stopped working on my order to take walk ins and then when he went to fill up my queso, he liked his finger after he had some on his hand!!! Sooooo nasty. There were other staff there that seemed to know what they were doing so that's the only reason why I didn't give them 1 star. I won't be returning to this location. This location is extremely unprofessional. The general manager, Victoria Syed, was incredibly rude. I came in for the Veterans Day deal, and she walked up to the register talking on her personal phone. During my order, she took another call and seemed completely unaware of what was going on with today's promotion. The previous time I came it took 40 minutes to make a chicken quesadilla to go. The food is not worth the visit. Today the restaurant had just opened and was messy and unclean. The interior is very fun - lots of bright colors and paintings on the walls, as well as the ceilings. The self-serve hot sauce bar has a wide variety of mild, medium, and hot sauces. The restaurant was very short staffed, so I can't really complain about the long wait. The woman working the register wasn't sure if the refried beans were made with lard, so I opted for a salad with black beans instead. Unfortunately for me, the beans were not what I expected. I pictured solid black beans, but it came with cooked beans which made the salad look similar to sludge. I can't have dairy, so I chose the vinaigrette dressing and asked for no cheese or sour cream. The first time, the salad came with sour cream. While they did remake the dish, the second time it had no dressing at all. I felt bad sending it back a second time, so I just enjoyed some chips and guacamole instead. My family had no issues with their orders and enjoyed their meals. While my rating is only three stars, I plan on coming back and perhaps trying a burrito instead - hopefully I will have a little better luck with my food this time (I'll let you know)! read more

If you order online be ready to wait a half hour, and see people who order while you are waiting, getting food before you, and often the same items you've been waiting for. I have waited over 40 minutes inside for an app order after getting there within 10 minutes of ordering. Food is very dry, minimum meat and cheese inside. Yes it was wonderful. First time there. Very nice staff. Clean place. Very bright and nicely decorated. Now I had an amazing chicken taco salad. It was so ridiculously fresh. I know , I know it was just a salad but it was that damn good. Chicken was juicy the salad was bursting with flavors. I picked a ranch dressing which was good but I barely used it because the salad was that tasty.. They have lots of different sauces that you can sample that are complimentary. They also give you a bunch of tortilla chips with your food. Oh yes ,the churros were very good and did not taste oily. I don't really care to eat Chipotle or Taco Bell . Had dinner with my husband here. New to PSL & still exploring food joints around. Good things were: closing time of the restaurant was good especially for late dinners. The customer service at this location was excellent! Clean and very eye catching due to the decor inside. The prices for the food are ok. I do think you can get more food for the price down south at a similar restaurant that's serves a similar menu. Some take aways were: 1. The Quac & Cilantro were not fresh at all! 2. The food was warm/ almost cold no where near hot! 3. Small portions e.g Tacos! 3. The Corona was 3.50 each which is a rip off! 4. Their chips lack taste, could use lime & a bit of salt. 5. The lime steak tacos were good but the corn shells fell apart so I had to eat it with a fork. Daughter liked her chimichanga and the queso.
