My ex and I love this place! Amazing food! It gets busy so try to go early. The desserts and drinks are to die for!'

This is my second review of Mojito's. I absolutely love this place. Their cuban fare is authentic and full of delightful flavor. My friend and I have went there without a reservation and never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Their wait staff is super attentive and friendly. They have free valet parking, which is a plus because parking is tough in this neighborhood. Mojito's is truly a neighborhood gem. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants ! Me and my boyfriend come here at least once a month. We usually share chicken empanadas , the skirt steak & the garlic shrimp. And the blue sangria is a must have! The service is wonderful and you can even go downstairs to the lounge right after if you want to continue drinking ! read more

Would've liked to enjoy happy hour. I was told after ordering a drink that I couldn't be at the bar cause I was wearing shorts and a tank top. I could understand if it 9pm or later but it was 3pm. Nice place .. excellent Cuban food .. we had the "Ropa Vieja" and the Mojito Chicken and loved it.

I was surprised upon going there that it was so empty on a Saturday night. There were maybe two other tables occupied at about eight pm on a Saturday. I ordered the blue sangria. It was very good but definitely more suitable for someone who loves very sweet drinks. My boyfriend got the pineapple mojito which was also good. The bread and olive oil was great. It was reminiscent of Texas toast. We ordered the chicken empanadas. I found them to be quite tasty. The rope viejas was just okay....a little too salty but not inedible. The maduros were very good though. We did have an issue with the mojito. There was a hair in it and when we made them aware, they didn't replace the drink until we asked them to. That was a little odd because most places would do it without second thought. The food all came very fast though probably because it was so empty. Would I come here again? Probably not. Nothing special but all in all not a terrible meal. read more

We went here for the bride's birthday. Happy Birthday honey. Now to the review. Food was very good. Nice touches in food preparation. My Lamb Chops were great. Specialty bread and olive mixture for the table was especially tasty. We needed extra dip and it was supplied immediately. Waiter service was excellent. They even filled the water glass after the meal was finished and a request was place for the check. When leaving, they had someone open and hold the door for our departure. I'm contributing that to good service and not that they were trying to get rid of us. These are the things that can prompt a five star rating. Unfortunately... one drawback. A little light on the pour. When I order a drink, a measured shot is a real turnoff. At the cost of a Johnny Black on the rocks, come on, make it a nice one. We had a birthday party here last week and was excellent. Lounge has everything I want in a bar, Good strong drinks, nice atmosphere, great music, and most important of all great people. Went there for a night party and order some Chicken Empanadas and came back the next day. I then order another order of Chicken Empanadas and the Ropa Vieja. The empanadas were a five star but the beef in the Ropa Vieja was tough and difficult to chew but I will be going back for the best tasting Chicken Empanadas ever. read more

I used come here for dinner at least a few times a year. However, I haven't been here in the past two years and decided to have dinner there this past Monday. Never a disappointment! The pitcher of red sangria was just as I remembered "delish" in addition to their appetizers, entrée and the toasted bread with olive spread at each table. Its not as crowded mid week as it is on the weekends, so I prefer going when its less crowded. I had the skirt steak with black rice and beans, maduros and yucca and my date had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and veggies as our entrée and chicken empanada and chicken wings for appetizers and we were both pleased! Last night took my wife out to dinner, The service was good the mojitos where great. The food was ok in my opinion not worth the price. the mashed potatoes taste like they came from a box. the salmon was ok not much flavor. Ox-tail was good there was no salt or pepper any where. Also the service suck we started being the only ones there and they just forgot us... we had to ask for the desert menu cause it wasn't offer to us and we had to wait and wait and wait. the same issue trying to pay the bill. we must of ask at least 3 times before we got the check. I don't think we will be trying this place again no time soon. read more

We just got finished with a huge meal here and it was amazing. The absolute must-haves were the cubano meat/cheese appetizer, ox tail, and passion fruit crème brûlée. The red sangria and mojitos were to DIE FOR. Our server was attentive and personable, giving candid and honest advice about the menu items and even the preparation of their incredible sangria. Prices were definitely reasonable and they give you a massive amount of food. Nice decor and ambiance. Great date night option. This restaurant is great! My boyfriend and I visited on Sunday for dinner after I purchased a $25 gift certificate from restaurant.com for $5. It was rather quiet when we dined, so we had the attention of most of the servers. The restaurant is two levels with the dining room upstairs and the bar/lounge downstairs. The food is absolutely delicious! We started with the portobello mushroom stuffed with scallops and shrimp in a garlic sauce. I was expecting small scallops and petite shrimp - boy was I pleasantly surprised. The scallops and shrimp were medium-large sized. For dinner, I had the filet red snapper and he had chicken rolled with ham and some other stuff. Both entrees were very tasty. Each dinner comes with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. I should warn you that the potatoes are instant mashed potatoes and not homemade, but the veggies and entrees make up for the manufactured taste of the potatoes. As could be expected from the name of the restaurant, the Mojito is the specialty drink here, and for good reason - they're delicious!!! I've been here a few times. Food was always good. But last time I went it was with a group of friends and throughout the night I bought 28 drinks for my party of 6 people, always from the same barmaid/bartender and i tipped her well. And I never got a buy back not even one drink. I know the normal is buy 4 the next one is on the house. Total turn off. At an average of $10.00 per drink and tips you do the math.
