They have a Ratatouille mouse stuffed animal on their shelf which I thought was very adorable. The blonde waitress (and I think part-owner) we had was super friendly, attentive and smiley. We tried the Caesar salad, croquettes (3 different flavors: suckling pig, Cauliflower and 1 other one I cannot remember) with 3 different dipping sauces, 2 chicken dishes (cannot recall the name), and a mango dessert (tiny, good for 1 person). We ate everything family-style though not every dish is easy to share (example: the mango dessert). This place is great for a special occasion or if you want to dine somewhere where you can get dressed up. Our favorite dish was, hands-down, the Caesar salad. I never expected to be impressed by a Caesar salad. It was prepared in a way we have never seen before. The salad was chopped but not mixed up, wrapped in cheese, and then flambeed with a torch with the dressing inside the cheese. All of their dishes are presented in a whimsical and unique way. The hot-dogs, which we didn't order, comes on a plastic blow-up balloon dog, the croquettes are served on a metal tree with different branches, some other dish is served on a 70s mini-van, etc. They gave us a complimentary licorice liquor shot at the end of our meal. They take online reservations. They were very accommodating when we had to edit our reservation to a later time. During our visit, there was a large business group there as well as a bachelorette party. Even so, the restaurant was never rowdy/super loud. The interior is very swanky, modern and soft in decor. There is a pink/purple glow in the restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor/patio dining.

We lucked out and scored a table on their first night open for the season. Our server was of the utmost help by guiding us through the menu and strongly suggesting certain dishes. We ordered a few drinks and some wine through out our dinner and I was in love with everything we got! Drinks were creative and the wine was a great quality. The food is on another level. I can finally understand why Spain is the gastronomy center the world ...or so I've been told. All the dishes were complex and had an explosion of flavor and were like works of art. Almost too pretty to eat. I can't even choose a favorite dish. Everything I ate was as good as the last and the next. I highly recommend eating here. It will take your taste buds on a special journey that you will not regret going on!

The inside is very spacious and has that Mexican touch. The staff and service was great but the food left a lot to be desired. We started with guacamole which was lacking in flavor. We then shared a burrito, which I did not like, and 2 orders of tacos. The steak tacos were delicious! We also had the chorizo tacos which had pineapples. Although they were different I didn't quite enjoy them as much. I probably would come back on my next trip to Ibiza only because the service was amazing!

F.example 1,5 year ago the Hipster burger (vegan burger)was AMAZING. Now it was nothing but a disgusting patè of lenses, soggy and tasteless.. and after a couple more visits I learned the rest of the menu has more or less decreased as well. Sorry el deseo, but you have lowered your standard to less anything then what I recognize from the start to today... Only thing left is your cocktails yes is good. But for how long?? Please upgrade your dishes to something more then "half ass prepared dishes" to what you once had going!!! I will never ever recommend this place ever again as I did always have done before!!! Ps! I lived here since before it opened but I used to love this place for the food. But now.... wtf?

To start we had a couple of cocktails, my woman had a mojito and I had a Cuba Libre. The appetizers were next and were exploding with flavor. We had the wagyu tacos which included caviar as well well as the prawn guacamole. I have never had tacos or guacamole so flavorful. For entrees we had two pasta dishes which were also incredible. The only downside was that we could not take our leftovers with us as there were no to go boxes! Bummer!

He'd been before and said it was one of the experiences we couldn't miss. The second we walked through the doors, I knew this wasn't going to be just dinner. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. Everywhere you looked there were lush florals, warm fairy lights, oversized gold mirrors, and extravagant décor. It felt like someone combined an upscale Michelin-starred restaurant with a royal jungle. Even though the dining room is intentionally dark, every corner somehow still catches your eye. Unfortunately, we were seated directly underneath the sound system. Within about two minutes I asked our waiter if the music could be turned down because it was incredibly loud. Little did I know there was a live performance about to begin. A singer came out with an incredible voice and started performing everything from Mamma Mia classics to other popular songs that had the entire restaurant singing and dancing. She was honestly fantastic. The only downside? The volume never changed. We literally couldn't hear each other for the rest of dinner. I happened to have professional concert earplugs from a recent show in my purse, and I actually wore them through dinner because I didn't want to leave with ringing ears. That's probably a first for me at a restaurant. IT WAS SO LOUD. I'm actually so upset about that. It was a horrible experience because of that. Both of us literally strained our voices so much just to talk we ended up having scratchy throats when we left. Onto the food-To start, they brought over warm, freshly baked bread with butter and green olives. The bread was fluffy, soft, and absolutely delicious. My only tiny complaint--and I've noticed this all over Europe--is that everything seems to need just a little more salt. We ordered the scallops with roasted poblano peppers and Tatel's signature mashed potatoes. Presentation? Beautiful. The scallops arrived still sitting in their shells on a gorgeous serving display. They had a nice sear, and one of mine was cooked perfectly. Another, however, was a little underdone. My biggest complaint was that the scallops weren't detached from their shells, so we had to scrape each one off ourselves before eating which means I accidentally ate some of the shells-ruining the scallop and almost cracking my teeth. The roasted peppers looked amazing and had a nice char, but they didn't have much flavor beyond that. I ended up squirting some Lemon from the scallops and adding salt and pepper from the table on them. Now...the mashed potatoes. These were probably my favorite thing we ate all night. Rich, creamy, buttery, and incredibly smooth. They were served in a tiny measuring cup, which honestly confused me because I thought it was a sauce that belonged on the peppers. The table next to us ordered Tatel's signature veal, and the waiter prepared it tableside. He laid out a paper-thin piece of veal, topped it with two poached eggs, and shaved fresh truffle over the entire dish. Even just watching it being made felt like part of the entertainment. For our main course, we ordered the T-bone steak. Again, presentation absolutely delivered. It was already carved before it was served on a large Himalayan salt block covered with flaky sea salt. It looked incredible. Unfortunately, we ordered it medium rare, and it came out much closer to rare. We both joked it would actually make an amazing leftover because another few minutes in the oven would've probably made it perfect. The beef itself was clearly high quality, but because it sat on the salt block, every bite became saltier than the last. There was also a significant amount of fat--great for flavor, but nearly a third of my steak wasn't edible. Overall, I completely understand why people recommend Tatel. It's energetic, glamorous, beautifully designed, and feels more like dinner and a show than just a restaurant. The service was wonderful, the entertainment was excellent, and the atmosphere was one of the best we experienced in Ibiza. That said, when your dinner costs nearly $300, I expect the food to be just as memorable as everything surrounding it. For me, it wasn't. I'm really glad we experienced it once, but I don't think it's somewhere I'd personally return.

They are only open Wednesday to Saturday from 1-4pm for lunch so make reservations and plan accordingly. Also, it's a bit remote so if you take a taxi like we did, plan a buffer coming back for a taxi to get back to you. We had to wait a bit over 30 minutes for our taxi to arrive. But the views for this location 30 minutes from the main drag of town are supreme. Well worth getting away from the hustle, bustle, bars & clubs to sit on the beach with the waves rolling in while dining on scrumptious eats. Comfy seats and classy napkins, too! Espressos were great and they had two flavors of kombucha. Both were bright & beautiful full of bold flavors. You must get the Bikini of Smoked Aubergine, scamorza and miso (16). Holy goodness! It wasn't what I expected and gave me some eggplant vibes. But I can't even explain how good this little sandwich was. Wowza. A million wows. And the fried fish taco with remoulade & pickled onions (16) Life has changed with this best fish taco evaaaaa. So crispy with the freshest fish inside, oh em gee. Obsessed. Tuna.Belly. You've never had it like this and you've never had it this good. It clocks in at 50 Euros but it'll be like you've never had it before. I can't even pick which dish of the lunch was best because they all blew my little socks off. I love everything about Nudo in Ibiza! I'm so onboard for this lunch and would love to dine here again. So many nomz.
