    Walk up water refill
    L.C. W.

When we moved to Mira Mesa we did not have an R/O system in the new house. We knew that we didn't want to drink the tab water or have to deal with installing an R/O system. My wife found Tiki's and we have been very impressed with the water quality and how kind the owners are every time we come in to "fill up". We are on a prepay plan where we get an additional amount of water for paying in advance. We paid $100 a few months ago and we still haven't used all of our water. For a family of four with two dogs, it is a great value! We will keep using Tiki's.

Tiki Water Store is an asset to the community. The amenities are clean and well maintained. The customer service is always superb and courteous, I am always greeted kindly by the owners. Tiki Water Store also provides great prices on both Alkaline and high PH water. Highly recommended!

I wished I lived closer to this water store as I'd exclusively come here. I am a water snob and can taste the difference in alkalinity & water quality. I came to this store while passing through and got the alkaline water. It looks like there's a discount on their alkaline water right now - so take advantage of it! The owner was very kind and informative - he walked me through the alkaline water with a pH test strip and showed the pH go above 9. Yes, although the pH doesn't actually stay at 9 once bottled & exposed to air, etc etc (but that's the nature of bottling water), it was the first time a store demonstrated the water alkalinity to me to prove it is what they say it is. I appreciated that. Comparably to others, the water tastes great and the pH is above 9 (tested). I have full confidence in this water quality. Please note the minimum for credit card is $10. (I did not know that so he made an exception for a 1st timer.) Everything here was great. The only downside was the owner's wife - she did not have nice things to say about this exception but I understood her rant because I speak Korean. Deal with the male owner - he is much more friendly and professional.

I would not recommend doing business with Culligan Quench…read more When the salesperson sold us our office water dispenser, we were told we could cancel at any time if we were unhappy with the service. Unfortunately, after signing the agreement, we discovered the contract contains an "entire agreement" clause that essentially says any verbal promises made by the salesperson don't count unless they're written into the contract. We trusted what we were told, and that turned out to be a costly mistake. Our contract, signed in June 2020, clearly states our monthly rental payment is $39.99 plus tax and that after the initial term it renews at the same monthly rate. Despite that, our monthly charges have gradually increased over the years to $54.37, even though I have yet to see anything in the contract that authorizes those increases. To make matters worse, the contract also says the monthly rental does not include service, maintenance, or repairs, and if you try to cancel early, you can be responsible for paying all remaining payments. There's also a 90-day advance written notice requirement to avoid automatic renewal. After doing more research, I found other customers reporting frustration with being unable to cancel contracts, continued billing issues, and difficulty resolving disputes with the company or its financing partner. Those experiences made me realize ours may not be an isolated situation. If you're considering signing with this company: Get every promise in writing. Read every page of the contract carefully. Ask for written confirmation of what is and is not included in your monthly payment. Don't rely on verbal assurances from the salesperson. I expected a straightforward equipment rental. Instead, I feel like we've been paying more than we agreed to, with contract terms that heavily favor the company over the customer. I cannot recommend them based on our experience.

They deliberately include language that shields them from liability even when their own team is negligent. Cross it out or walk away. Their installation team failed to secure a critical internal safety connection, which caused a leak and resulted in extensive damage to our brand-new office. This was not a minor mistake it was outright negligence. Yet they refused to take any responsibility, hiding behind the contract they drafted to protect themselves from their own failures. Instead of addressing the issue, they will push you off to their insurance carrier, who relies on the same contractual loopholes to deny your claim. This appears to be part of a pattern designed to avoid accountability. We are pursuing legal action and will continue to share our experience so others don't fall into the same trap. This situation cost us thousands of dollars, all because of their negligent installation and refusal to stand behind their work. Consider this a warning: if they refuse to remove or revise that indemnification clause, do not sign.

This time around, our Rheem water heater failed before reaching even 7 years, despite having a 12‑year warranty. Even though Quick is closed on weekends, Brandon texted me and set us up first thing Monday morning. Ben (sales) was extremely helpful, walked me through all the options, and made a genuine effort to get Rheem to honor the warranty. Unfortunately, Rheem couldn't provide a replacement and instead offered fair market compensation (still TBD). Not thrilled with Rheem, but Ben handled the situation professionally and kept me informed throughout. We ultimately went with a Bradford White, and Sammy installed it the same day. His work was excellent--professional, efficient, and spotless cleanup. The Bradford White + installation was very reasonable and very surprisingly comparable to my prior installation. Very impressed with Quick's responsiveness, professionalism, and ability to turn everything around in a single day. Highly recommend them.

We are loyal to our vendors/contractors as great workmanship is not always easy to come by. In the past Jacob, Erik, and others on the team were always professional, prompt, down to earth-- and all experts. They installed our 3 water heaters from them and a whole house filtration system. We have recommended them to our neighbors as well. Had the most uncomfortable conversation with owner Brandon who we've never interacted with in the past. Shockingly rude. I even said, "sounds like I caught you at a bad time" - yikes. A top contender for most negative and weird vibes from a sales/client interaction. This call happened after a slightly frustrating visit with Ben who admitted he only has 1 year of experience and was trying to keep up as best as he could. He was actively trying to learn on the spot. He was honest which I commend. Ben left saying he needs an actual technician present along with the owner's help to develop a more solid option and plan to move forward. Not a problem at all. It must be frustrating being an expert in your field having to speak about the same products and concepts with home owners who are relearning different/new systems on the fly. But if customer service is not your forte, stick to delegating and take hospitality courses so your loyal customers don't feel like they have to be apologetic for having questions on a $11k quote. Sadly, a "could have been better" 2/5 star experience, wish we could stick with them. Pro tip, maybe ask to exclusively interface with the seasoned members of their crew with 5+ years of experience so you avoid any negativity and can actually get the work you need done.

All Cities did an excellent job of explaining the options and going through how a salt-based hybrid softener system would provide the water quality we were hoping to achieve. I asked a ton of questions, all of which were quickly and thoroughly answered. There was no attempt to upsell us or talk us into anything. It was a very low-pressure engagement that made everything much simpler. We ended up going with a hybrid salt system that uses carbon and sodium chloride to condition the water (it can also use potassium chloride but the cost of that is prohibitive at this time). The installation went very smoothly. We were told it would take about 4 hours to remove the old system, install the new one and run a drain line across the garage to the sink. That is almost exactly what it took and the installer was very professional and easy-going. We are very pleased with the system thus far and I would highly recommend All Cities Water Treatment as a great option for anyone interested.

Avoid this place. I…read morespent thousands of dollars with SD Aqua and regret ever doing business with them. It started when I purchased premium-priced live rock from SD Aqua. Within days of adding it to my tank, the entire system began crashing. The rock appeared to be in terrible condition, my sand bed turned black, and the tank was effectively ruined. As someone relatively new to the hobby, I relied on SD Aqua's expertise and guidance. Instead, I was left dealing with a disaster. To address the problem, SD Aqua referred me to a person named Andrew to help fix the tank. Unfortunately, the situation only got worse. The work performed created additional plumbing problems that later had to be corrected. We relied on the recommendations of people who presented themselves as experts, and that trust turned out to be a costly mistake. While the tank was being repaired, we entrusted our fish to SD Aqua for temporary holding. Several fish died while in their care. The remaining fish were returned in poor condition and soon showed signs of disease. Over the following weeks, we watched fish die one after another despite significant effort and expense trying to save them. Anyone who keeps saltwater fish understands how devastating it is to watch animals slowly decline and die after investing so much time, money, and care into them. What makes the entire experience even more frustrating is the complete lack of accountability. We were left with a destroyed tank, dead fish, damaged plumbing, and thousands of dollars in losses. One additional concern was the business practices we encountered afterward. When I later tried to obtain copies of receipts for purchases and services, SD Aqua was unable to provide complete records. Many of our transactions had been made through Zelle because we were repeatedly told the credit card system was unavailable. As a customer who spent a substantial amount of money with the business, I found it troubling that obtaining basic documentation of purchases was so difficult. At a minimum, it reflected a level of disorganization and poor recordkeeping that was consistent with the rest of our experience. The owner, Diego, was ultimately responsible for our account, and Andrew was the individual recommended to work on our system. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone--especially those new to the hobby--against relying on this store for fish, water, rock, advice, tank services, or system design. There are too many reputable aquarium stores in Southern California to risk going through what we did. My experience with SD Aqua was expensive, frustrating, and ultimately devastating to the aquarium we worked so hard to build.
