My family always gets water here.. ever since I was in elementary. Since new ownership, the place is so well kept and clean. Honestly the best water spot to get clean and fresh water!! You can get alkaline water as well too. They also sale refillable jugs here and the owner is so nice. Amazing customer service, you have the option to pay all up front as well and come back when you need water / get extra water for value. Water is fine here, but get a receipt if you prepay for water - I gave the owner $100 on Oct 21 and collected only 26 gal of water. Next time I came he didn't have any record of it and said I had not visited since Sept 9. I was assured nobody was dishonest, however the business still has $100 of my money and made me pay for all my water today. I will be finding a more organized/honest water supplier. read more

Great water store! The store equipment is clean and well-maintained. According to the owner, Kevin, the bottle rinse station is the only one in San Diego that uses ozone as a disinfectant. All other shops with bottle rinse stations don't have an ozone system, and are simply rinse only. Kevin is friendly and knowledgeable, and it's clear he takes pride in the service and product he provides. Fair prices and even better pricing when you use the "pre-paid program". read more

We come every two weeks with 3 jugs. We drink a lot of water. Price is reasonable. Workers are friendly. Everything is kept clean.

I wished I lived closer to this water store as I'd exclusively come here. I am a water snob and can taste the difference in alkalinity & water quality. I came to this store while passing through and got the alkaline water. It looks like there's a discount on their alkaline water right now - so take advantage of it! The owner was very kind and informative - he walked me through the alkaline water with a pH test strip and showed the pH go above 9. Yes, although the pH doesn't actually stay at 9 once bottled & exposed to air, etc etc (but that's the nature of bottling water), it was the first time a store demonstrated the water alkalinity to me to prove it is what they say it is. I appreciated that. Comparably to others, the water tastes great and the pH is above 9 (tested). I have full confidence in this water quality. Please note the minimum for credit card is $10. (I did not know that so he made an exception for a 1st timer.) Everything here was great. The only downside was the owner's wife - she did not have nice things to say about this exception but I understood her rant because I speak Korean. Deal with the male owner - he is much more friendly and professional. read more

We have been drinking only Alkaline Water for years and KNOW what it's suppose to taste like... The water we got tastes like TAP WATER. I purposely didn't say anything to my Husband...Right after his first drink...he immediately says... this tastes like TAP water...not even purified! This confirmed my tastebuds are on point....We will never b returning to this place...or drinking this water. They just took our $5 with the same water from my faucet!! While the benefits of alkaline water are certainly nice, that wasn't the reason I came to Tiki's Water Store this past weekend. My church was holding a Filipino fiesta, and our six large multi-gallon jugs needed to be filled. Seeing how it would've taken a lot more time and money to fill each jug individually at an outdoor water vending station (like at Albertson's/Vons), off to Tiki's! What I like about the place is that not only do they have multiple reverse osmosis water faucets to fill your bottles, they also have a prerinse station to make sure they were clean inside. And, when I needed help putting the bottles in my car, the owner was kind enough to help load them in! Any store owner that's willing to go the extra mile for their customers definitely gets more points in my book. Great product, great service... I can see why Tiki's has been around for 17 years, and as long as they continue to offer the same great water at these prices ($15 for 6 large bottles), I can see them going for at least 17 more! The alkaline water here is consistently good. I used to go to Carlsbad to get alkaline, but noticed a difference in taste so I decided to try this place out. I'm glad I tried this place - it's closer to home, water purity is consistent, friendly people and the hours are now extended. There's even a dispenser for after hours. Been going here for quality water for a while now. It's a great organized and clean place to get quality water fast and efficiently with the help of the owner. He's a really great and kind guy, and always assists you when/if he can. Plenty of carts you can use to bring water back to your car with ease. Many faucets to fill your water bottles with quality clean water. And you can clean your bottle with the upward ozonated water sprayer prior to filling your bottle. I highly recommend getting your water here for filtered or alkaline filtered. read more

Where's the negative star option? I bought two water containers from this store for $20/ea and had used them regularly. About 6 months after purchasing them they both cracked rather easily. When I went back to the store to see what options were available (ie stronger containers? Slight discount on replacement containers?) I was told to simply throw away the broken containers and buy new ones at full price. I explained that I hadn't had them long and they failed. The owner repeated again to just throw them away. He then turned his back and walked away from me. Terrible customer service. I will not be giving this store my business any longer. read more

Quick Tip: Cheapest Alkaline water per gallon in SD! Kevin, the owner, is the man. He is very friendly and provides some of the best water I have ever had. I've been drinking Alkaline water for the past year and I feel the benefits. If you don't know, look it up and do your research. Their Alkaline water is only $1 a gallon! That is the cheapest you will find in San Diego. Most places charge $2-$3 dollars a gallon. It's easy to find water stores, but very scarce to find a store with Alkaline water by the gallon. If you don't have any water jugs, don't sweat it! He has hundreds of different types, from sport bottles, to 5 gallon jugs and BPA options are avaiable. I have not been here since 2012 when I purchased my gallon water bottle mini. The lid for it is actually broken when I purchased. I.still have the bottle. It'd be an awesome courtesy to have the lid replaced. I have not been to ya'lls water place since. I believe in healthy balanced drinking water of which on the web it stated ya'll alkaline ya'lls water which helps your body be healthy at the average pH level 7.5-8 or even better 12.5. There is inconsistency with the pricing with my most recent experience. Our family has a lot of water jugs and when my parents refill, they pay around $25. They are long time customers. And when I did it, I got charged $40 for the same number of jugs. No receipts are given, so my mom wasn't able to dispute anything. read more

The prices are incredible And for the service you're definitely getting an excellent deal. Tikis Water Store is a pretty humble setup with a wicked reverse osmosis filtration system, which produces a pretty good tasting water. Ive been drinking tap water for a few years and finally made the switch after reading numerous articles on the toxic tap water here in California.
