I would not recommend doing business with Culligan Quench. When the salesperson sold us our office water dispenser, we were told we could cancel at any time if we were unhappy with the service. Unfortunately, after signing the agreement, we discovered the contract contains an "entire agreement" clause that essentially says any verbal promises made by the salesperson don't count unless they're written into the contract. We trusted what we were told, and that turned out to be a costly mistake. Our contract, signed in June 2020, clearly states our monthly rental payment is $39.99 plus tax and that after the initial term it renews at the same monthly rate. Despite that, our monthly charges have gradually increased over the years to $54.37, even though I have yet to see anything in the contract that authorizes those increases. To make matters worse, the contract also says the monthly rental does not include service, maintenance, or repairs, and if you try to cancel early, you can be responsible for paying all remaining payments. There's also a 90-day advance written notice requirement to avoid automatic renewal. After doing more research, I found other customers reporting frustration with being unable to cancel contracts, continued billing issues, and difficulty resolving disputes with the company or its financing partner. Those experiences made me realize ours may not be an isolated situation. If you're considering signing with this company: Get every promise in writing. Read every page of the contract carefully. Ask for written confirmation of what is and is not included in your monthly payment. Don't rely on verbal assurances from the salesperson. I expected a straightforward equipment rental. Instead, I feel like we've been paying more than we agreed to, with contract terms that heavily favor the company over the customer. I cannot recommend them based on our experience. read more

They deliberately include language that shields them from liability even when their own team is negligent. Cross it out or walk away. Their installation team failed to secure a critical internal safety connection, which caused a leak and resulted in extensive damage to our brand-new office. This was not a minor mistake it was outright negligence. Yet they refused to take any responsibility, hiding behind the contract they drafted to protect themselves from their own failures. Instead of addressing the issue, they will push you off to their insurance carrier, who relies on the same contractual loopholes to deny your claim. This appears to be part of a pattern designed to avoid accountability. We are pursuing legal action and will continue to share our experience so others don't fall into the same trap. This business is a SCAM and makes its money, not selling a water service, but on deceptive business practices and FEES! Please do not go with this company. We opened an account with them about 7 years ago and even though several of our locations have had issues, and scheduled service calls, they have failed to show up. Our water machine stopped filtering before the pandemic and I scheduled 2 service calls and they never came. Now that we're trying to cancel our service, you have to jump through hoops so they can get another month of payment out of you and ON TOP OF THAT also charge a ridiculous removal fee. They didn't honor the contract of keeping the machines in working order. Our machine tastes like gross tap water and they never serviced it. Please consider using another service. I just got off the phone from trying to get a hold of the service rep handling my cancelation and of course, they're nowhere to be found but only after a 10 minute hold on their line. We leased a Culligan Quench water and ice machine for about a year and it worked well--until the pump broke and flooded our store over a couple of days while we were closed. We reported it as an emergency, but service wasn't scheduled for four days, and we were told not to use the machine in the meantime, forcing us to buy bottled water. Then, the scheduled repair was cancelled without any notice; I only found out by texting our rep. Now, neither the company nor our technician is responding, and we've received only an automated message saying our service has been rescheduled for another week. No fee waiver, no urgency, and poor communication. For the high monthly cost, I expected far better. In hindsight, buying our own unit and using a local plumber would have been faster, more reliable, and more professional. read more

I have been disappointed with Quench since the beginning. I am finally at the end of my contract and gave 90 days notice. The unit broke again (no surprise) and they won't fix it and want me to pay out the contract and removal fee instead. I want to make them keep it in good working order till the end of the contract and they won't do it. Not sure how it is going to end, but it is going to be over soon. Quench USA - Fort Worth is a horrible company. I signed up with water logic many years ago in Fort Worth, TX. They got bought out by quench. I was moving my facility and contacted them months ahead to move my water machine and add an additional water machine. They had no problem signing me up. After that point, there was no communication and no follow through. I eventually had to move the machine myself because we moved out of the old facility. They never came out and installed my old machine or the new machine into my new facility, but then I received an invoice for $150 for them to move my machine. I contacted them and told them I already had to move it because they were supposed to do it a month ago. I am still being charged monthly for water services, I am not receiving. I emailed multiple times, called several times, and still never got my services installed. 2 months later, still being billed, I contacted my rep and told him I wanted to cancel all services and I wanted a refund for the last two months that I was not provided services. He emailed me back and asked "if he can get services installed this week, would I keep my membership". I said no, I have already made other arrangements. I have no desire to continue doing business with quench. I got billed again for services. I received an email scheduling the pickup of the original machine that I had to move myself. I contacted them back stating that I wanted the now 3 months without service refunded. I finally got an email back stating that because I was in contract, they will not issue a refund. Even though, they were technically in breach of contract, because they did not follow through and provide the services I was paying for. The pickup date for the old machine was July 31st, and no one showed to pick up the machine. Received an email today moving the dat to August 10th. I will never do business with Quench again. I do not recommend anyone else to either. They are unethical, they do not fulfill their commitments, and they do not communicate with their clients. read more

We have two IGUA SSU 9001 ICE POU COOLER  in our Los Angeles office. Our machines are not making any ice or any hot water. The filters haven't been changed since they installed them 3 years ago. We have been calling and emailing Quench for the last 9 months to get our machines service, but no result. At this point we are not even sure that the water is safe to drink. We are way past the recommended filter change (which must be done annually). They promised they would stop by for service several times, but no-one ever showed up and no one ever called the office number or my cell phone number. Originally we signed the contract with Advanced Pure Water 3 years ago. Then Quench took over, they never honored the annual filter change or repair the malfunctioning parts (which is a breach of contract and which makes us, the non-breaching party, no longer held to our previous contractual obligations). But... Since it's impossible to reach out to someone to discuss the terms of the contract you are stuck with paying for 2 machines that doesn't even work. When you call customer service they will tell you they can't access account - Then they will tell you someone will call you back, but you never get a phone call. Quench is just a huge scam (check Quench USA, Inc BBB rating for confirmation). read more

Experienced horrible customer service experience by Quench when researching our restaurant filtration system. This occurred when calling their toll-free number and speaking with someone named David when about monthly charges. However, the good side of this, was to inspire me to get quotes from other companies and I've since fired/switched from Quench USA to another company, with the additional benefit of saving a lot of money. To be factually clear, Quench was charging our restaurant $89.00 for a three stage water filtration system (Reverse Osmosis - BTW I didn't know what that meant, and when I asked David treated me condescendingly). The new company now provides us with a five stage water filtration system for $30.00 monthly. No Joke! They state it takes 2 weeks to get flavors in for the Bevi machines however a month later still not flavors have been installed. They always had an excuse why they could not come out to fulfill their side of the contract. The last time they showed up to switch out the filter was more than 2 years ago and after we cancelled they are still billing us. We started this service of a water machine for our office thinking it would save us money over bottled water. Under Water Logic (original company) service was fine. After Quench bought them out the bill went up and there was no service. We decided to discontinue our service in January 2023 and was told to pay a fee to get out of our contract. We paid the $252 fee and invoice balances and put their machine in our warehouse under a cover for protection until they picked it up which they said would be within 30 days. 90 days later they picked up their machine after our repeated reminders. Now, 6 months later they are telling us we owe them more for breaking the contract. My advice. Buy your own water machine online and stay away from this crooked business. read more

I feel bad writing a bad review, as I wouldn't want it done to me, but the world has to know. Quench has the worst customer service of any company ever. If you want anything done besides a sale, they will not contact you or help you at all. Their billing department is also complete chaos. At first they were charging me for machines I didn't have, it took about eight months for them to take that off of my bill. I'm not even sure who did it because I called and emailed about 12 times just to get in contact with someone. Then I tried canceling my for an entire YEAR and nobody would help me do that and I have been continuously charged for my machines even though I contacted them monthly to get the machines out of my facility. One day I sent another monthly email, and the next day, the machines were gone without a trace, no invoice, no communication, I don't even know how they got into my facility. Now I am in collections, at first there was a number on the invoice to which I called, and it went straight to voicemail. Now, they are fighting me on paying even after I was adamant about cancelling. I sent them receipts to prove I was dissatisfied and they still said no. I offered to pay all the cancellation fees and time up until I was 110% fed up, and they are at this point gaslighting into saying I didn't cancel, even though I have receipts to prove it. An unbelievably messy company that is quite frankly a scam to start out with. Just buy a water machine with a warranty and you will save so much time and effort and money, or just go with a competitor. read more

On 12/13/23 I requested our countertop hot/cold water dispenser to be moved to our new office. I was told the they need 2-3 weeks notice. I told them we were moving out of our office and needed the machine moved. They came out on 12/18 and they did not have a new machine for us nor did they take the old machine with them. I would give them no stars if that was an option. Quench bought out the company we had been previously using and once Quench purchased them, then there was no more service. Our hot water stopped working and they sent out a tech to inform us the machine we has was obsolete. They said they would have a new machine to us within 10 days. 3 weeks later a dude showed up with the machine, no appt scheduled or courtesy call. He installed the machine and then informed us the filters and tubing were moldy and hadn't been replaced in 2 years. Are you kidding me...employees and customers could have and may have gotten sick from this. I was appalled. After much battling, they offered 2 months worth of credit to our account. When we tried to use the new machine, there was still no hot water. I called again and they said someone would be out in 2-3 weeks to fix it. No thank you. I cancelled the service in writing, as they request on 1/17/23, 1/26/23, 2/6/23 and informed them the machine would be placed in the parking lot with no liability on our part. Quench finally replied to my cancellation request on 4/5/23. They said the machine would be picked up by the end of the week. Nope, sat here for another month. After all of this, they have the audacity to send us to collections for the 3 months of billing we refused to pay after my first cancellation request. This is hands down one of the worst companies i have had the misfortune of working with. we had them install a thankless water machine for our customers to use in the office of our small business. we had the machine for a little over 1 year before it began having major issues and then just stopped working all together. If you need to get a hold of anyone GOOD LUCK! every time i call i am left on hold for over 1 hour listening to their Horrible music. they told me they would have a service tech come check the machine so i waited..... and waited.... after 1 month i called just to find out they had no record of our previous conversation and would we would have to set up the service tech appointment again. it took an additional month for that to happen. the service tech said the machine cannot be repaired and he placed a order for a new machine.... 1 month goes by and a quench van pulls up. i said great the new machine must be here.... NOPE they sent another service tech to look at the machine who came to the same conclusion " this machine cannot be repaired i will put in a order for a new one" i said are you kidding!!!! so the new work order was placed... 2 month go by and i call everyday and wait on hold for over 1 hr. i cannot get anywhere with this company so i completely give up. i call one final time and wait on hold forever to TERMINATE our service.. i ordered a BRIO machine on amazon and installed myself. YOU DO NOT NEED THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE just buy a machine its so much easier and has the same exact filtration system. this did not end here, 2 weeks later another service tech shows up to look at our machine. AFTER I TERMINATED the company. he was clueless, i asked him to please remove their broken machine and he tells me i am here to fix it. i said no please take it away i canceled you guys. he tells me he cannot take it without a work order and leaves. then later that same day i get a collections notice. QUENCH has filed us in collections for not paying this whole time the machine has NOT WORKED. are you kidding me!!! i sit on hold again for 1 hour ask for a manager or supervisor. they cant get one for me they inform me one will reach out to me. and this is where i am now, in collections by a company that cannot be reached for a product that has been BROKEN for 6 months... DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY you have been warned this is all 100% accurate and honest description. i wish i can bill them for the 20 hours i have spent on hold. read more

Quench Water is extremely unorganized and poorly managed. Buyer Beware! Customer service, phone system and computer system are NOT working. Like Peter K., we've paid our lease, and expect our annual maintenance to change filter and do maintenance to keep our unit working properly. FOUR months of calling, emailing, leaving messages on their website... with no success. FOUR months, TWO NO SHOWS on scheduled dates, and finally got out unit serviced today, which took only 20 minutes to complete. Even the technician said the company has issues and was sent to our old address. Unacceptable service and many communication fails, including having our incorrect address after ONE year from informing them via letter and phone call! Our business as only had service come out once since I took over as manager in April 2019 to change filters. Finally spoke to a national account person who set up a service call but only for one of our machines and not both. The machine was pretty bad so he replaced the machine but after the technician left, the water going into the machine was leaking in breakroom and leaking through wall into hallway. Called x2 for both the (888) number and the local San Francisco number x2 had to leave message. A person named Shawn in sales answer put me on hold then I was cut off called back and had to leave a voice message. I will have to find another vendor for water. Just a National chain with no accountability for customer service on the front end or the back end. read more

We had Scott Pure Water install 2 machines at our church and they are working out great. We don't have to store water bottles or sanitize our old cooler type anymore. These machines do it all, heat, cool and purify. I never thought we would use them as much as we do. read more
