Food and service was really good. Minus 1 star because they no longer serve Pho or vermicelli…read morenoodles. The egg rolls were as another reviewer posted, definitely on point and I should have ordered two orders. The chicken wings were large and meaty and had good flavor for plain wings. The only downside for me was the bahn mi as it was too sweet inside and wasn't really the traditional French baguette bread I'm accustomed to being from California, where Vietnamese eateries are plentiful but overall it wasn't a bad experience, just disappointed that they didn't have what I was expecting, especially since Pho is in their name. I'd still come back for their egg rolls and to try some other things.

This place could survive based solely off the spring rolls alone…read more I haven't tasted fresher ingredients stuffed in a rice wrap since the summer of '09, right before our own local Vietnamese establishment shut it's doors for good. The cilantro wasn't soapy, the shrimp and chicken were sliced as thin as the rice wrap and flavorful beyond compare. The rice noodles were a cold and perfectly sticky consistency that added a bit of perfection to the overall consistency. The lettuce crunched, the carrots snapped and the peanut butter sauce absolutely banged. Pro-tip: if the chef suggests you stir in a little of her homemade hot sauce, do it. Three words: Off. The. Chain. The first $5 order of two rolls hit the spot, but didn't satisfy my craving. And when I say "didn't satisfy" I mean I could've ate 20 of the dang things before settling into a food coma. I didn't just want more, I needed more. So, I ordered more assuming I'd have a snack when I got home an hour later. Didn't happen. The rolls didn't make it out of the parking lot. Before I even turned the ignition over I had the second order of Vietnamese heaven demolished and devoured, not even a tuft of cilantro left lingering on the styrofoam serving tray. Overall a great experience. Stopped for a little snack and had my life changed. Despite being in the food court of a mall, it's a dead mall, the mood was chill and relax. The pricing was fair and the staff were exemplary. The chef was great at making conversation (even if she didn't necessarily have a choice) and the cashier seemed to genuinely appreciate my compliments in regards to the food. Definitely can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Driving from Tulsa to Memphis and found this place on the way back. I am so glad I picked it! Got…read morethe Super Bowl, egg roll and wonton soup. Egg roll was fine but, wonton soup was a bit odd because the wontons are fried but the broth was very good. The star was the Super Bowl. Roasted chicken, fried shrimp and some braised beef on top of noodles, onions and cabbage. Seems to me like home cooking and it was delicious! I will try to stop in every time I come through town. Fort Smith is super lucky to have this place and I would love to have it in Memphis.

Look, I could complain about the menu with names that mostly have nothing to do with what you get…read moreso you need a tour guide to know what to order, or the way Tan likes to charge random prices when you get to the register, but no one is gonna care because this place is a local legend and the food is that good. It's part of the experience. I'll make it easy for you. Drunken chicken/salmon or whatever you want with rice. Pay whatever the colonel wants. If you want something different... cheeseburger. Just trust me. It's not a cheeseburger at all. lol. You will love it though. Tan might even sit at your table and make fun of you and tell you gruesome bloody stories about the war or complain about who knows what but it is all part of the experience. If he puts a bib on you it means you are now family. He may even give you a nickname.
