I paid 45 dollars out the door for a week here (got 8 days) and i know i can make due, and i know ill go all 7 days i am here. Thay said, they have dumbells, they go to 70lb, they have a leg extension machine, treadmills, and nice stationary bikes (only piece of decent quality is the bikes, they look fancy like a spin class kind) They have a cable machine, and that you can make a lot of due with, but it doesnt go heavy, or wide... They have a smith machine, and i never use these, but here had to. Its odd, and limits movements, but with some forethought it worked for what i needed. They did have a combined 300lbs for the machine, fyi.. yeah 300lb lol! Clean bathroom, cold water, and towels. Great lighting and had the place to myself the whole time... In a pinch, 45 for a week isnt horrible, but my local huge commerical gym with big boy weights, squat racks, platforms, benches and big weights is 99/ YEAR out the door lol. Oh well tourist town, take what you can get.

Then back to the normal dirt and dust bunnies and sand everywhere. It's especially bad right now. I've heard supposedly a staff is injured? So ... nobody else can run a broom? I travel for work and have been to so many gyms. This one is top tier in all categories fitness - great equipment, lots of options, new and always working machines, lighting and space, amazing staff ... all the best I've seen literally worldwide. I can't believe it exists in LC and we are lucky to have them! However, I stand on the cleanliness problem. I'm unexpectedly here longer than normal and I've been hanging out with the same dust bunnies and piles of dirt for over two weeks now and they're growing. I have pics! It's gross! If you don't see it then be thankful your workouts don't include floor work (but why isn't your workout including floor work?!). Love the gym ... but ick.

There's two single bathrooms but no shower- again pretty disappointing and this gym is kind of out of the way unless you live at Salishan. This gym is 24 hours and $10 for a day pass, $35 for a week pass, $70 for a couple. Very strict rules about not being anyone with you to try out the gym unless they pay that day pass fee. This gym does provide life alert type pendants to wear while you're working out if you have health concerns, which is an amazing thing to offer.

My guess is that the owners use it as their main gym and basically sell memberships to help pay bills. I do not understand how they are in business. He was not a little sick, but very sick. For the entire 90 minutes, we had to listen to him wheeze, snort, sniff, and rasp. Every breath he made was a reminder we had a sick person hanging over our body in a tiny room. He was forced to excuse himself from the room to cough, making the experience shorter than it should have been and additionally awkward. What's more, the man's fingernails were too long and my husband and I were left with marks. I could not wear the dress I bought especially for our anniversary dinner at Meridian because it showed the fresh, bloody scratches down my back. I can't speak for my husband on this account, but when I checked out at the register, I was made to wait for quite some time because the individual was busy. That's fine and I understood the rush, but when it came time for me to pay, the receptionist was still helping other people, so I had the receipt shoved in front of me and I was told I had to pay the required tip, but I was never asked how my experience actually was. I go out of my way to actively recommend people stay away from this spa now, and hope you do, as well.
