I hold owner Kevin singularly responsible, as he was awful to deal with. My wife and I asked the company to perform a number of tasks in our front and back yards. I should have known to stop the project before it started when Kevin couldn't even deliver an estimate on his timeline and I had to chase him to get it. His estimate seemed reasonable at the time if he had planned to send a few crew members to knock it out in a timely fashion. While weather delays were certainly not his fault, he primarily sent one excellent worker to do most of the job by himself. Kevin made token appearances, as did a few other people. I had to constantly repeat myself to Kevin throughout the project, who failed to ever do what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it. His constant excuse-making and bogus apologies became laughable. Even with the weather, it shouldn't have taken this long to weed our front garden, remove a relatively small amount of grass and replace it with weedblock and mulch. I had to constantly chase Kevin to get things done. He even declared the project over without consulting with me -- even though the mulch he put down in the back (most of it free to him because our neighbor gave us theirs) was way too thin to do the job. He had told me clearly that multiple loads of mulch were included in the price -- mulch he was supposed to add in addition to my neighbor's pile. Tabori showed up at what they thought was the end with a pitiful pickup truck of mulch, which wasn't thick enough to even walk on without sliding on the weedblock. I had to demand he return with more, which his company finally did today. I will never use this company again. Despite the one excellent worker, Kevin was horrendous to deal with from start to finish. I've never written a Yelp review this negative, but I'd hate to see anybody waste their time and money the way we did. Kevin made this a stressful pain in the neck from start to finish -- and I've communicated that to him directly twice.

Tabori came out with very little notice, and fixed everything! They also helped to prune back a couple of my shrubs that were dying, and also hauled out some old junk. In the past, I have always dreaded the Summer and Spring clean up because we just did not have the right people to help us. This year, things are different! No more weed picking! Frank was able to put down a professional level barrier so the weeds don't come through. He used high quality brown mulch that doesn't smell weird. He is an expert on plants & trees and ours look healthier than ever. They were trimmed in an aesthetically pleasing way. Our unsightly pipes at the end of the gutters were converted to underground drains. All of our up lights on our trees are finally working. Stone walkway repaired. They use dead sod and charge unreasonably high amount for lous work…read more We moved into our new home recently and the grass in front of our house was not in good condition so we hired them to plant new sod. First, the business owner gave me unreasonably high estimates of time required to finish the job. He said it will take 3 people 9 hours straigt to do that. I live in a townhouse and we only needed our front yard and very small area in our backyard done. I agreed because I didn't know. On the day of service, only 2 people were present at one time and one of them was the boss, mostly supervising so basically they put one guy to work and charged me for 3. The sod they put was brown even when they were putting it, when I mentioned that, they told me that's how it looks now but will become better with watering. They charged me $1500 for dead sod and one man's labor. After 2 weeks of watering like crazy, the grass is still dead in places. I called them, sent them text but they didn't reply, but when I called them from a different number they answered, which proves that I have been scammed. My neighbors did their own sod and that look way greener and fuller than my professionally done, super expensive sod. So take my advise and hire an actual professional. Please do your research on amount of time required and types of sod so they can fool you like they did to me.

He said the maintenance is based on an annual contract so it would be 5K for the year, basically locked in. I was like ok well send me the estimate/contract so I can review and make a decision. He told me he would send in a few days. I thought everything was fine, but randomly on the next Sunday two guys show up to my home unannounced saying they work for Richard. I told them I never received a contract and they said they just wanted to look around my home. I was a little sketched out so I tried calling the company's phone number to verify they worked for Richard, but obviously it being Sunday morning nobody answered. When Richard did return my call the next day, he said he didn't ask them to come that day but did tell them to go to my home. I re-emphasized that I didn't appreciate people showing up unannounced to my new home as I'm still settling into the area. Then he got defensive saying I should get a security system if I don't feel safe, that the area is safe. The house came with one already so again mentioning a security system felt like it was just a way to deflect instead of just apologizing for the mix-up. He said he would still send the estimate on Tuesday.... uhh what?! He never did and I was already not going to move forward after what I felt came off as rude and unprofessional behavior with the way he handled the situation. I don't recommend this company and am happy I got to see this behavior early on before locking into a contract. Poor value and red flags!

After the work was over he asked me about my tattoos (I've got a lot and love talking about them) and showed me his wrist tattoo: a lawnmower! So you know he's dedicated to the work! I won't hire anyone else to do the work Rodgers could do.
