Since then, additional issues have arisen involving disputed charges between Meade and our general contractor. As the homeowner paying for this project, I have repeatedly requested that Meade come onsite to review the work and help resolve the discrepancies. Rather than inspecting the installation firsthand, the company has declined to return and has instead continued to dispute the concerns remotely. This has been especially frustrating because multiple aspects of the project--including framing and installation concerns--have required onsite evaluation by other trades. Refusing to inspect the work in person while maintaining that the charges are appropriate has made it extremely difficult to reach a fair resolution. Homeowners deserve contractors who are willing to stand behind their work, communicate openly, and participate in resolving legitimate billing and workmanship disputes. My experience has unfortunately been the opposite. I cannot recommend Meade based on the lack of follow-through, unwillingness to return to the jobsite, and the unresolved billing issues that remain.
