I normally love coming here for my son to get school clothes and maybe even a new backpack. I haven't been that impressed lately because they have all the Disney stuff that my son is not into at all. I cannot believe the prices on some of the Disney stuff they are selling. I feel like I am at Disneyland. They have a nice supply of skateboards that my younger son is always in love with. He is always able to find one that he just has to have. They make great presents for him, but they will set you back a hundred bucks. The little girls clothes are not anything special and I don't ever find anything that I just have to buy for my niece. They just don't have the cute stuff that they used to. The trend is currently jacked up and even my kids and niece think so, They mens jeans are a great deal because they are always so sale and the shoes are great if you are a man. If you are looking for girls shoes you might want to keep walking to another store. They have adorable stuff in the mailers but most of the time I have to order it online. Came in yesterday to grab some shirts for some events coming up, found a dope one but they didn't have my size. My girlfriend asked Kayla, the store representative on the floor, if she had anymore. Kayla responded, "everything we have is out hanging". I asked if she could look at another store being I had to head down the hill this morning. A few minutes later I went to check out with another shirt I found and Kayla was on hold. She asked 2 other employees if the Montclair mall store is a busy store which someone replied, "no". Immediately she asked weather she should stay on hold or hang up. The second guy she asked said, "I would", and she hung up and started chit chatting with employees. I was literally right behind her but she seemed to totally not realize I was the person she was calling for. Over the course of the next 5+ minutes she asked 2-3 times to various other employees if she should call back, but decided not too and very clear and concisely said "oh well I'll just tell the customer they don't have it", and walked to the other side of the counter and chit chatted with another female employee for a few minutes before saying clearly, "let me go find this customer and tell them they don't have it". She went found my girlfriend as I was paying and said what ever she said. I approached my girlfriend by the exit and on the way out was like, "you'll never guess what just happened". I started explaining to her how she hung up and didn't call back and my girlfriend cut me off and said, "wait, she told me she was on hold forever and they finally came back and said they didn't have it". Place an buy online pick up in Store order at 930am. After 2 pm since I have not heard anything I walked down to Tillys.I asked one of the ladies how long does it take to process a bop' s order. I'm assuming it was one of the managers that she reach out to. She looked in the system and corporate has not even sent them my order yet. The young lady was really nice and took care of my order in store for me and gave me the same prices I paid online. She told me whenever it come through she will cancel it for me. Store service was great and it was not a hassle to take care of the problem. But your online bops service sucks. This service should not take more than 5 hours for the store to even get the order. There should be a way for your store to get the order directly instead of waiting for corporate. read more

I WAS in two different tillys in two states this week. Both had the new RAD vans and SULLEN gear. Passing through victorville they had neither. And nobody wanted to help. Im young rich and retired and nobody lifted a finger. Sad. read more

Worst experience I have ever had at this Tillys. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! Employees DO NOT ATTEND TO CUSTOMERS. I just went in today to do a simple return and waiting more than 20 minutes was UNBELIEVEABLE. I understand that "Yes. " It is coming close to the holidays and the malls will be busier than normal but going in on a Tuesday and the experience I had was TERRIBLE. To know how it is to be employed either with retail and food. I know that the customer always comes first no matter what task I may have at hand. Initially I had went there yesterday to buy a few items but than didn't end up liking them. Today, after the second time walking in there. You would think if you have a handful of people standing in line awaiting checkout than the employees would come help the 1 (ONLY 1) person at the register. There was only 1 male servicing the many handful of people standing in line. Not only are the other handful of employees walking back and forth from the register while staring at us customers waiting in line to be rung up. The store manager Lori was as well. You would think common sense would be common in these few individuals who are employed here but due to the nature of their store manager, they were not properly trained. Just because of this experience I refuse to go back to Tillys. I mean it is simple problem to solve "First help the customers than you can go back to what ever task that wasn't complete!! " I am pretty sure that I wasn't the only customer standing in line upset at the ethics of these employees and their fellow manager who is supposed to be a leader!! " read more

Best place to buy tank tops

This Tilly's is the BEST. The staff is always very polite and the merchandise is always organized and neat. Last week during my visit, Laurie - who I believe is the manager - spent about 15 minutes bringing me several different styles and sizes of shirts while I was in the dressing room trying to find the right one. Not to mention she was also running around helping several others at the same time. Kudos to her for setting the example of great customer service! read more

This store is by far the worst Tillys I have ever been to. The overweight manager that works there is very rude,pushy,sarcastic and down right mean. One day I had come in 3 different times to buy items and was rudely approached by her saying You're back again??? You need to buy everything all at once do you aren't messing up my counter, needless to say I walked out and didn't buy anything from her, and another thing, how can a manager be allowed to work at a fashion store dressing like that? all the other employees i encountered the first couple times were really nice and dressed like they worked there. how can someone give you fashion advice when they can not even dress themselves nicely? read more

Maybe the previous negative reviews made them up their game because we had great customer service from every employee we encountered here. I do agree their prices are ridiculous sometimes but the sales are great. read more
