It is a bright and spacious coffee house, obviously very popular with the Western University students. They also have sandwiches, which I did not try, but they have a good selection. B served me, and she was friendly and efficient. They make their own doughnuts and loaves. I got an apple doughnut. It was filled with apple filling, some cinnamon icing on top, and it was fresh and not heavy. As a tourist, I appreciated not feeling rushed. At the self-serve drink mixing station, they have milk and cream canisters (no half & half in Canada Starbucks), standard sugars (inc Plantation raw sugar), sweeteners, napkins and drink lids. The caraway bagel is my fave - second is pumpernickel. The staff are absolutely lovely and it is a pleasure to sit in such a clean, bright and sunny space on the days I have time to eat in. Places like this are what make a neighbourhood feel special.
