I'm not sure why there are so many bad ratings because I've been here a few times and had great experiences with each of them. We even came only about a half hour before closing once and they were out of some things (which was to be expected) but the staff was apologetic (even though it wasn't their fault) and were great at offering suggestions about alternative products. They have the standard Tim Hortons menu and selection of donuts, bagels etc. It is fresh and well made and they seem to be a location that is generally well stocked. The restaurant itself was very clean and well maintained as were the bathrooms and parking lots. Out of all the Tim Hortons in the area, this is probably the best run. read more

Wow! What a terrible experience I had at this location today! I used the drive thru to order drinks for my family and myself. I ordered a large Diet Coke, but soon after I left I took a sip and realized it was regular Coke - full sugar. I'm diabetic, so I returned and went inside to swap out the drink (the drive thru line was long now). After a minute I explained to the young lady that I got the wrong drink, and could she please replace it for me. Immediately she got snippy with me and said "get that off of the counter, you have to throw it in the trash". I asked if she could take care of that for me, to she replied "I'm not touching that - it has your germs all over it". It was then I noticed that she was wearing a covid mask (this is July, 2024) and I thought why would anyone throw a 32 oz. drink in the trash? What if the bag leaked? I asked to please get my drink, which she did, then said again "throw that in the trash, you touched it and your germs are all over it"! I replied "you handed it to me, so your germs are all over it, too". Then a young man came over and said "what's your problem"? I explained that I wanted a Diet Coke to which he replied "we didn't ring it up like that"! I asked whose fault that was? They didn't give me a new straw, so I took my old one out and out it in my drink and said "Thank you, have a good evening". The young man replied "You don't have a good evening." I walked to the door and could hear them both mumbling so I turned around to hear what they had to say. I couldn't make all of it out but did hear "asshole" and something about germs again. They finally saw me still standing there and went silent. I was at this location on July 7th, 2024 between 3:30 and 3:45 in the afternoon. The young lady was short and very thin, with a mask on and the young man was about 5'-10" with dark hair, both were approximately high school age. My thought is that if you're a germaphobe you probably shouldn't work in a public place. Secondly, I'm a husband and father, a contractor and vocational instructor and I'll be damned if I'm going to be disrespected like these two did today. I've been a customer of Brian and Jen's franchises in Erie ever since they move here from Canada and I know they would be shocked to hear of this at one of their restaurants. They will hear about this the next time I see them. Now, what do you intend to do about this? The staff is friendly but the service is atrocious. According to the posted hours they open at 6 a.m. Really? Cause today (like many other days) there was a line of cars waiting for the drive thru to open at 6:15. Three cars pulled in and left due to the line/closure. I've been to MANY TIM HORTONS locations. I've also ordered from most of them for delivery. THIS location on PINE AVE/38th street is definitely a 10/10. All the employees deserve acknowledgement from the higher ups. They are super friendly, delightful, even in the morning. They are super quick getting orders out and very rarely - if ever do you get anything messed up or not made correctly! Thanks gang! Stopped at this place for breakfast since they don't have one in Pittsburgh (come to Pgh!). We ordered the Maple Bacon Wraps, two coffees, and a box of timbits. I received the wraps and timbits but waited approximately another eight minutes for the coffees. I later discovered that they forgot about my coffees, and the woman blamed it on the fact that everyone was multitasking. The drive thru was pretty constant but inside was not busy at all. If you see people who ordered after you receiving their drinks, just give them a little reminder. Other than this, everything was delicious and the employees were very friendly. I go to Tim Hortons at least 3 to 4 times a week. Service is usually great. However lately it's been awful. We stopped by this location for a quick coffee break while driving from Niagara Falls, NY to Pittsburgh, PA. As soon as we parked at the coffee shop at 6:55 PM on 5/18/2019, the doors were locked and the "restaurant closed, drive thru open" sign was flipped when my sister and dad approached the door. Weird for a place that's supposed to be open 24 hrs, but whatever. Then, a member of the staff comes outside and places a chair in front of the other door (were we stupid or threatening enough as Indian people to try and enter through here?!). We ignore all of this and sit in our car and head to the drive-thru which has got to be one of the most rude experiences of our lives. Starting from the strange order taking ordeal to the lack of politeness or basic decorum at payment and delivery of the coffee. I've been here in the US long enough to know that bad customer service is NOT what this country is known for. All of this was really strange because there was no one else behind our car in the drive thru. We have never felt this unwelcome anywhere else in our lives. Both the female employees at this outlet (whose names I did not catch in all this weirdness) at the aforementioned date and time were extremely rude to us and made our first ever visit to a Tim Hortons, a very bitter experience. read more
