With the predominance of McD's and DD in Illinois as your most viable option for 'fast' coffee with breakfast on the go (or just breakie) AND a drive thru, Tim's is a godsend. And it definitely blows those chains out of the water.. This location was our first stop arriving in Canada. And my very first time having Tim's. Very clean and updated interior with a handful of busy workers in the wee hours of the night. I needed a bathroom break and let me tell you, the restrooms were spotless. I never comment on restrooms but I sure remember skanky ones..these guys deserve major props for keeping them so squeaky clean and tidy. Having stopped at numerous locations in Canada, I couldn't get enough of the breakfast sandwiches on the go. I honestly looked forward to them they were that good. DD and McD's got nothin on TH. I'm officially spoiled. Everything just tastes better. Less artificial. And my hot breakfast sammie on a homestyle biscuit with cheese and bacon or sausage was delicious! And filling! The egg product actually tasted real. The yummy tender biscuit didn't fall apart and was exceptionally good. Hashbrown is another winner. The donuts were great as well. Again, everything just tastes fresh and less artificial than you know where and these aren't skimpy portions. And the coffee! My morning iced lattes went down so easy. I'm not a coffee snob but have my favorites. There's something about the milk in Canada that just tastes so good and in my latte gave it that extra special something. The coffee itself is good don't get me wrong, but the milk here makes it even better. Didn't try any of the lunch offerings, but I'm fine stickin with breakfast here...if only we had them? boohoo. I really REALLY miss Tim's. Don't take them for granted is all I can say or I'll shove a lousy egg mcmuffin in your pie hole, along with an egg & cheese wrap that will give you the runs for hours.

Several poor customer service experiences, long wait times during peak hours, and issues with order accuracy. Out of convenience went yesterday and that was the last straw. There was a sign pasted on the order area covering the summary of your order to say 'hi' when you arrive. Whatever that meant. Placed an order for two steeped tea and two tarts. Got to the window, we waited about one moment before the window opened. The woman said nothing, we handed them the app to scan and then she passed the debit machine. She passed two beverages and a bag. As we got them, we said thank you and nothing. The window closed. To top it all off, it was coffee and NOT TEA. ohh my god. This location always disappoints. I am done trying.

I let the young Indian girl at the cashier know and she said that they were very busy and it was emptied few minutes ago which is totally BS... The quality of TH is going down so badly and I am wondering how clean is the kitchen if outside is full of garbage and that we have to drive over the garbage to get to order...Will not come back as I do not want to get any food poisoning or start my day driving over garbage to get a drink! The cashier girl did not even say sorry, said that they were busy and that's it! SHAME!! TH, you just lost a long time client! I rather pay 3 times the price, have a clean store and welcoming staff than garbage and not even an apology!!

This Tim Hortons location is right off the highway (I believe at exit #216). It's the third exit past the OnRoute rest stop when you're heading west on the 401. It shares a plaza with a Petro Canada fuel station and there is an A&W restaurant across the street from it. There is plenty of free parking as well as a drive through. I prefer to stop here (vs. the OnRoute) if I need a break for several reasons. 1. It's less crowded. This means cleaner restrooms, and less wait time to place your order. 2. Free WiFi. Good luck trying to connect at the OnRoute! 3. Parking immediately out front. 4. This location participates in the Tim Hortons reward program (the OnRoute locations don't). 5. There is a family rest room, so if you have little ones, this is much more convenient. The OnRoute location does have 2 handicap restrooms. But you get dirty looks sometimes when you go in there with your kids. The rest of the place is pretty much on par with other brick and mortar locations. This one does not have a fireplace like some others, but it does have some cushioned seating with a TV. The staff was friendly and courteous and tended to me as soon as I approached the counter. This location has the birthday flavoured timbits if you have cravings for birthday cake bites without the need to use cutlery or dishes. Staff is very on top of things every time I go, even the new trainees. It's a busy location but I've not had long waits in line unless I order a custom sandwich. I do wish Tim Hortons would bring back their apple cider drink. That was my fave hot drink they served as I am not a coffee drinker.
