Like a different Yelper stated, it is a perfectly sized grocery store. I liked their setup. It's like a cross between a large Savealot and a small Tops. The staff were nice and friendly. They had enough cashiers open. They weren't too busy and we were able to get in and out in a quick manner. If I'm back in Olean, I'll definitely stop here again, for whatever I might need. (I'll definitely get a few donuts and a few candies that are at the registers that you can only find at Vidler's, like mint Aero bars!!!)

There is a Maple syrup room you can see into and all kinds of wooden carved bears everywhere you look. The service is good and the food is fine. They serve carved turkey dinners all year round so if you get a craving that's a great option. They also serve the Impossible Burger for the vegetarian members of the group. The gift shop is loaded with their homemade Maple treats including syrup of course. There is also a large playground area for the kids to get some of their energy out on. So if you're looking for a fun day trip Sprague's Maple Farm is a good choice.

When I opened her bagel I was disgusted. I wish I'd checked it prior to arriving to our hotel down the street and saved her the trouble of getting her hopes up (by throwing it out immediately lol). The attached photo shows what I purchased for almost $7 (a bagel and cocoa or possible poop juice). Based upon the Tim Horton's worker mannerism, excessive delay, facial expression and quarreling with her male coworker, I gathered that the woman working was upset. I just wish my hungry child hadn't paid the price... especially since we had a difficult time finding somewhere to eat being that it's Christmas Eve. I've worked holidays and understand the challenge but am still disappointed that rather than bestowing the gift of a hot , crusty and tasty bagel upon us, we were given this difficult to identify product in the photo. No sticky bar, no dirty cups piled up, no fruit flies, no gummy soda guns, no stale beer smell, no dusty bottles.... very nicely kept. The only disappointment/thing I don't like on the menu is the little frozen premade beer fish fry. An elderly customer was diggin through the garbage left of the entrance, inside when we walked in. The toppings bar for snacks is in need of a health department inspection. The mustard was nearly as thin as water. The employees were in complete disarray. The captain of that ship was not running the show all that well. I would be more understanding if they were understaffed. They had 3-4 employees and could not get things done and the line continued to grow. The coffees were cold, some were completely empty. They do not move fast AT ALL. The older guy didn't offer a receipt & seemed a bit aggressive when giving back my change. Two stars were given as it does have a bathroom & a gas station as many 7-11's I encounter do not have either. Corporate desperately needs to whip this place into shape.
