I want to start by saying I have worked in fast food and I almost never go out of my way to write a poor review about a business. With that being said this specific Tim Hortons consistently has the worst customer service and product delivery I've ever experienced. So far every single time we've went through we've been rushed through ordering by a rude cashier and they have forgotten items, (in our case a drink and side item). This is one of the most well-run Tim's Horton's I have patronized. The staff and management are super friendly and make you feel at home.

If I could give this place a minus 100, I would. For the past year, I have steered clear of the Urbana location. It used to be amazing. Now, it is dirty, awful food, awful customer service, and coffee that I was so sick from, last year, that I vowed never to go back. This evening, my daughter is in town, sick, and wanted me to drive through your location for a sandwich. Your help rudely laughed at me in their headsets, you were out of all Bread for sandwiches, I was told it would need to be a sandwich of a certain choice, and continued to be laughed at by your low level of customer service employees. The sandwich was cold, overpriced for what it was, and the service was rude, and downright condenscending. I warn everyone about your place. I will never return, and I feel that your Urbana establishment is beyond gross. I will continue to support my local, hardworking coffee houses. Being from Canada, the birthplace of Tim Hortons, I naturally had a desire to hit this place up when I visited my girlfriends in Urbana over Memorial Day weekend. WARNING!! The Tim Hortons in Urbana has HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I stopped by this morning to get a sandwich. I went inside. Placed my order: English muffin, egg, cheese, turkey sausage, and bacon. I used the restroom. When I came out the young man who took my order said they were out of turkey sausage do I want regular. Yes. And I wait...then a woman started making a sandwich. She got out the muffin, the egg, the cheese, and very limp bacon. Then she reread the order. Took off the bacon and placed it on the counter and added sausage. Wrapped it up and started to walk away. I told her if that was my order I wanted both bacon and sausage. She said in a very haughty and rude voice I was not their only customer. I said OK. Then she didn't see a customer out front so she went around to where I couldn't see her. Came back without the sandwich. She put the bacon on the counter back in the bin. Then started making other stuff. Another person, not my original order taker, tried to take my order. I said I had already ordered, been to the restroom, and am still waiting. She just stood there. I finally said I am on my way to a meeting. Just cancel my order. She does not know how, has to ask. Then the the woman who had been rude came back out with the old sandwich to give to my original order taker. They were going to add bacon I guess. I said I want a fresh sandwich. The rude woman made some sort of noise remark. My original Order taker started making a new sandwich. I said I can't wait I need to get to Columbus for a meeting. I want my money back. The girl looked to the back for guidance. She told me it had been a rough morning. By then my original order taker had my sandwich done. I asked if it was correct. Yes, he said. And the rude woman made another noise/ remark. I pointed at her and told the younger girl that that woman was rude. She shot back that I was the rude one!! And I said I guess the customer is not always right. I asked the young girl what that woman's name was. She looked confused and told the woman I was asking for her name. By now I am furious and said never mind I will report all of you. The rude woman made more remarks as I was leaving, pretty much yelling at me! She was definitely rude first. I was not rude nor vocal until they started using the old sandwich. She HAD made my sandwich and was going to hand me a modified old sandwich. She put bacon on the counter and then back in the bin! I am sure that is a health code violation! Tim Hortons in Urbana needs training not only in customer service, but in food safety!!! Went inside to order to go. Horrible service!! Saw 7 associates "working" when i stepped to cash register. Watched as 4 of the workers walk back and forth not noticing me at all. 1 was making herself a lunch, which i thought was for a drive thru order. 2 others were drinking their drinks and chatting to each other. I thought I was in wrong line or at a closed register, i wasnt. After several mins, one associate asked another if she was going to take my order and she said no, it was her lunch time. Finally a manager asked if I had been helped, when I said no, she gave a glare at the other workers. Finally got helped. Terrible customer service.
