Just dropped my rating to one star since my stomach has been hurting since I ate here today!! The best thing about this place was how friendly the one employee was when taking my order. This I my first time trying HotHead and I'm not sure I'd be back. I ordered the Keto Bowl 2 and an unsweetened ice tea. The Keto Bowl 2 is a bowl with barbacoa, pico, verde salsa, sour cream, Monterey Jack cheese, lettuce and hothead sauce. I added some guacamole and banana peppers. I assume they are competing with Chipotle and unfortunately it is a miss for me. The ingredients weren't as fresh and the taste was lacking. The store was dirty with stuff all over the floor. I arrived before the lunch rush so not sure why the table tops would be dirty as well. On top of that the ice tea was super cloudy. In my opinion, this location needs to step it up a bit! I don't like giving such a bad review but this just wasn't a good experience. I regret wasting calories and money on this. read more

Wow- this place has gone downhill. Thought we would go here rather than Chipotle.. We stood at the front of the order line waiting for 5 minutes while 4 employees didn't acknowledge us. 2 or 3 employees were outside smoking...just a really weird atmosphere. We ended up leaving and going out of our way to Chipotle. Oh well, I suppose you don't go to a fast food place for great service. read more

Wouldn't even give 1 star. Just left this HotHeads location and this is how mine and my boyfriends bowls look. I am sorry and I can think almost agree, but this is not worth almost $20. They are very stingy with their ingredients and make the orders very sloppy. We paid for the full size bowls and received the "kid" portion amount. The two who made our bowls were kind of rude also. Never have had an experience like this with them but neither of us will return. read more

This location used to be great, not sure what happened. I've been getting the same order since this location opened in roughly 2013(?). I always get a double wrapped burrito because I do order a lot on it, never been a problem for the staff before, and it's not at Chipotle to this day. This past year at this location nobody seems to be able to roll it, if they do half manage to do so they make such a mess they end up throwing a quarter of it out so they can "wrap" it... and I end up with a pretty small burrito. Suggestion: Maybe close down for a evening or day and train your staff? Friends and family have had the same issue. And, No, it's not like we are trying to get a 6lb burrito from a non sit down style restaurant. I and many I'm sure like lots of ingredients to add flavor, texture, etc but that seems out of the question when the staff can only roll a burrito with rice, cheese and air... read more

I don't know what I was expecting when going to Hot Head Burritos. I've talked to a few people and they said it was good but it was no Chipotle! I didn't want to go in with a bias but I did. Compared to Chipotle, it's mediocre. I mean the food is good but doesn't seem as fresh. I do like that there are more options to choose from food wise, like the the different bottled sauces they have, and going down the assembly line there are pictures to show you how to order and choose. It's really great for my mother because it shows the heat index of all the individual ingredients (my mother HATES spicy food). Overall, I'd go again. It's right down the street, and when I don't feel like driving to Springfield to get my Chipotle fix, this great knock off will do. read more

Placed a order online and went twenty minutes to pick up and then twenty minutes back got home and looked at my food and they only filled my bowl a third of the way I don't know if it was accident or someone ate out of it or what so I called the store and lady said she would replace my meal so I would have to waste another 40 minutes to get what I ordered already online. Service was OK but we also went at the peak of lunch. Food was delicious and portion size was good. Fairly small dining area.

This was my first time at Hothead, my boyfriend wanted to eat here so we stopped. They were empty when we walked in, and one of the staff was sweeping the dining room. We were waited on very quickly and the staff was attentive. I ordered hard tacos with steak, cheese and our cream. They tasted good, unfortunately they weren't even luke warm they were flat out COLD. Disappointing, but I will probably try Hothead again- just maybe not this one. :( read more

This place was just built and was good for a couple weeks but the last couple times I've been there the food was absolutely horrible.

Awful service. They messed up my husbands order and just didn't seem to pay attention. They had no idea what was going on. Want a good burrito? Go to moes. They include free chips with every entree. Also, way more toppings to choose from. read more

Was calling in an order for 5 tacos, the guy taking my order sighed when I started to order and said "tell you what bud, it'd be a lot easy if you just came in instead of doing this. Thanks." in a very rude & condescending tone. Do yourself a favor and just drive the extra 15min to get chipotle. Will not be back. read more

Wow.... First, let me say my peace about this company. It's very basic, only a few toppings, and if you want chips you have to pay extra. No thanks! I would rather drive to Moe's and pay a dollar less and have over 30 FREE ingredients for my burrito AND HAVE unlimited free chips and salsa. Now about my visit. We must have came on a bad day, huge line and only 3 people on duty. They kept shoving my burrito down the line without even asking if I wanted stuff on it. They had to go back and put it on there. When I got to the end I clearly and loudly said hot head sauce, lettuce, sour cream, and NO CHEESE. Well What did I get you ask? A big handful of cheese, no lettuce, sauce, or sour cream. Then my burrito was wrapped and passed over. I'm pretty mad at this point and don't feel like waiting in line for 10 minutes again to get a new one. This was my first and LAST experience with this place and I'm dumbfounded why Moe's or chipotle doesn't move in to these towns. This place wouldn't last a year before they closed down if there was a real burrito place nearby. There may be a good hothead out there somewhere, but as for me and my stomach, we see a beautiful Moe's on the horizon with a hazy sun setting behind it. read more

I would compare this to a chipotle but not quite as good I like the food but not as good as chipotle and they do have a wide range of sauces and are priced a bit better and there spicy chicken is amazing always live coming here read more
