Although I really don't like to bother someone to work so late either I spoke with Adam and asked if he was available to do a house call for myself, mom and my aunt. I appreciate him doing a house call for my family one after another. That really shows you how hard working and the dedication he has for his business. The can and will do attitude! Anyway, the actual massage. What I appreciate most is a therapist who uses their hands instead of their elbows. He can definitely work out everything I had going on, on my back. Very strong and really effective. The next day I feel all the troubled areas loose and I felt more flexibility. He is definitely a healer. One massage and I'm healed!! Thank you Adam! As a woman, I always feel really comfortable and safe with him, which I can't always say about male massage therapists (sometimes with other male practitioners, the energy or the communication is just not clear and the boundaries don't feel held in a totally safe way). Well, Ruben is one of those people that is so wonderful, you just don't want to share with anyone else... except maybe a bestie, and that I have done, but it's time to get more generous. Too many of us are suffering and we need to take better care of ourselves. Misery doesn't love company in my world. This is your message to get on top of your self care and this is The Best place to make it happen. Ruben is magic. There's no other way to explain him without it sounding weird. I could describe his very large, strong hands and how they are softer than a baby's bottom, but then it starts to sound a tad off. This masseuse man has helped get my aches and pains diagnosed when my doctor was at a loss. Ruben knows bodies as well as the spirit. I have never left without feeling more whole and fulfilled. I have fallen asleep on the table and I don't sleep well anywhere. The Swedish 90 minute is my favorite deal. Tell the magic man what you want and he can adjust. Music on or off, switch up the genre, hair up, hair down, socks on, socks off, starting sunny side up or flipped over; just communicate it. Ruben is one of the best kept secrets in the county. For me, it's all about a well "choreographed" deep tissue massage, and after trying a few of Robert's cohorts around town I settled with him after only our first sessions. It was clear from the onset that he knows what he's doing and understands how to give a true deep tissue/sports massage. In addition to his experience/skills Robert also listens very well, which means he can modify each of our sessions to take care of whatever issues I have going on at that point in time. Robert asked about my concerns and how my body was feeling. After sharing a few updates with him, he got to work. And, boy, was his work cut out for him! I do weight training (along with yoga), but had recently up leveled my workouts. Robert found those super tight areas and worked them. Not painfully (like other masseuses do), but with a firm, yet gentle, technique. Not once did I grimace or feel uncomfortable. I left on cloud nine with my body feeling healed and rejuvenated. He is a highly trained, intuitive and skillful healer with strong hands and an enthusiastic passion for his work in helping people to feel better/integrated in their bodies. I've had a chronic issue with my left piri formis and hip area, which apparently engages other muscles and tendons, creating a complex mess of chronic ache and pain.
