The stored my heavy glass storm door in its frame on it's side and hinges on rough uneven landscaping rock in full sun all day for 6 days. I took it for granted that they must know what they're doing. Was I wrong. They re-hung the door leaving over a 1/2 inch gap on the open side exposing the latch, which was barely catching, so didn't really stay closed. Their answer to fix this was to loosen a few screws on that side of the frame so it would shift towards the door. So, the frame is loose, a good yank and it would all come down and the gap was still over 3/8 inch. I called again. They don't return calls or respond to emails. I finally took time off without pay and had to to go the office. They came a 2nd time. Tightened the screws they loosened and adjusted it from the hinge side. Sure, the gap is acceptable, but now the door handle butts up against the door jamb. I have to use the handle to lift up the door to work the lock and open and close the door. Chris, the owner, tells me it's an old door and I didn't purchase it through them so he basically isn't going to do anything. He has insulted me and shown me disrespect at every turn. Treating me like I'm a stupid and know nothing about hanging a door. Actually, I do and have hung doors in the past. Too old and have arthritis now though. Remember above, I stated how they store it after THEY removed it. I did some research and found out that will damage the door frame causing it to warp and also damage the hinges causing issues like sticking and difficulty opening and closing the door. As soon as they removed it and stored it, it became their responsibility to ensure it wasn't damaged and that they re-hung t correctly afterwards. I didn't expect it to hang like a brand new door, but I do expect it to work properly as it did before they touched it. They also have to fix a couple of pieces of siding which were hung badly and hanging half off, which I noticed a few days after they finished. It wasn't due to any storm damage either. Lesson learned. I paid a lot of money for a professionalism, but surely didn't get it. Don't get me wrong the foreman for my job was great. The rest not so much and Chris, well I won't say what I think of him. I will never recommend them and will go out of my way to tell people to steer clear of them solely because of Chris.

We received quote and put down deposit in March 2025. After that, communication essentially stopped. Call went unanswered and unreturned until late June. Then again heard very little until September. The lack of responsiveness throughout the project was extremely frustrating. I strongly advise anyone considering this company to read their quote carefully. We specifically asked for a tiled shower but ended up with solid wall panels instead. That was not what we expected. There were also significant workmanship and coordination issues: - the toilet was removed and flooring completed. He screwed up replacing toilet, we ended up waiting 10 days for a plumber to come and repair it - another toilet removed and flooring completed. Same person, replaced toilet incorrectly and we had water leaking into the basement - a large amount of water was discovered in the basement when they were removing the old shower/tub with chaotic clean up - we received no meaningful design assistance and were offered very limited product option - communication was consistently poor and often dismissive from Dave, Jason and Chris Every step of the process had issues, from quoting and communication to execution. I cannot recommend the company based on our experience.

We already had flooring in mind and they had the exact style we wanted. The store is incredibly small so the 3 customers in the store working with salespeople made me feel like a sardine stuffed in an undersized tin can. Anywho...one of the salespeople found a moment and really that's all we needed her for since we knew exactly what we wanted. We showed her what it was and asked for a quick estimate based on the overall area of our kitchen (which is obviously an overshot based on cabinets and whatnot). She gave us the estimate and set up a time to come out and do exact measurement for a more accurate quote. Great. The gal showed up for the measurements, took them and was on her way in a timely manner. 5 days later we received the email with the estimate based upon her measurements. As I'm looking over the estimate I see that it's higher than the original "over-estimate" based on the total area. I also see her original note says the price is 6.50/sf and the new "official" estimate now has a price of 7.75/sf. Naturally I reply to the email questioning this information and asking for an explanation for the discrepancy. I wondered if I was dealing with inexperience, a con job or just a lack of communication. Wellllll...moments after sending my reply email, I get a call from Russ, who introduces himself as the owner. Great! I am about to get an intelligent explanation and gain some understanding! No. Not at all. Russ straight up just started demeaning me, asking me "How long have you professionally installed flooring?" What?! I immediately put him on speaker phone (since I couldn't finish a sentence) so my husband could hear this man. We stared at each other, eyes and mouths wide open. He literally went on and on, around and around, basically saying the same thing again and again and yet not explaining the discrepancy. Within 2 sentences of my call, I absolutely knew we would NEVER give our business to this company. He may be used to scamming innocent unknowing folks, but I am not one to take it without question lying down. No Sir. Not today or any day Russell Zimmerman. I have kept my personal opinions on Holly (the lady that helped us) out of this thus far, but from meeting her in the store I had doubts on her experience and I felt uneasy about her knowledge (or lack thereof). My husband and I both wondered after our initial meeting in the store if she had been drinking...seriously...she reeked of booze, but I was willing to shrug that off and told myself maybe she was chewing some weird gum that was causing the smell. When the installer did show up, he only had enough carpet for the upstairs and master bedroom. This was a Tuesday. We were told the carpet missed the shipment and would be in on Thursday but no one was available to install it until the following Monday. Monday comes and the installer comes but does not have enough of the carpet so we have to wait another four days to get the last two stairs and landing installed. I voiced my frustration with the Wausau manager and told him that they were losing customers from all of this and he said quote "that really makes me want to bend over backwards for you when you're throwing that at me." Being a manager, I assumed he was being genuine but was quickly told by himself that he was being sarcastic. Very inappropriate customer service skills for management. Price was great. Installation was great. Management is terrible, so hopefully you don't need to speak with them. I did speak with corporate about this manager and they were extremely helpful. It just shouldn't have gotten that far.
