We gave America's Best Value Inn-Staples a down payment of $141.51 for a 4 night stay on September 2nd, 2022. The plan for the Veteran changed within a half hour, so we asked for a refund. It is now January 2nd, 2023 and we still have not received any portion of the refund. This is after contacting over the phone multiple times and stopping in person.

Or the air conditioning in the room. That's the first problem. Ok you are rude whatever right... Well next I come in later that night and my room key dose not work. I go to get a new one and the husband tells me it's my fault and that 3 other rooms that were with me showed up with the wrong key. And it was from another hotel chain. I told him no he talk me I was stupid and I am ridiculous with sticking to the same story. When the key card was a comfort inn and I had not stayed at one in over six months. And the other three guys that were here I had not lived with each other in over eight months. But somehow we had the same card from the same hotel. And on top of that the rooms suck they are small the shower was cold and I can feel the bed spring in my back. This is my first time ever complaining about anything on Yelp but I really feel this strongly I have never been treated like this in all my 7 years. Don't come here!!!!!! I feel bad at even giving this place one star but Yelp makes me

Breakfast quite ample including eggs, bacon, sausage , waffles . WIFI worked fine for video steaming . Staff friendly , efficient and very helpful. We had to extend our stay for three days due to a snow storm . Even though the hotel was full they managed to get us into a bigger more expensive room with a hot tub but charged us the same rate as we were paying before. Indoor pool clean , well maintained. We will definitely stay here again. Really great staff .....

A modest price used to deliver a clean room, a well-kept pool and hot tub, and a continental breakfast that could get you on your way. But not now. On this last visit, I encountered a host of sad shortcomings: - A room with palpably dirty carpet, a broken TV remote, and dead light bulbs - A cold pool with floating bugs, and dirt and debris in the corners of the room - A continental breakfast where juice and fruit couldn't be found, plus milk served "jug in ice-filled basin" style and a pastry selection mostly composed of Little Debbie knock-offs Like I said, the Eastwood Inn charges a modest price, but not one so low as to validate these disappointments. I wouldn't be as vocal about this if I didn't know that they used to be better. I'll definitely be doing my homework the next time I plan a trip up north to see what else can be found.

The rooms are very quiet, clean and scent free. The beds were firm but very comfortable. There's a nice pool that's well maintained and kept at a usable temperature. The staff was extremely nice and very efficient. The continental breakfast was a step above average. The dining area was clean and the selection of food was just right. I like that they had some great additions for children, and really aren't we all children at heart? There was a waffle making machine/station which my wife used with the help of the lady who was supervising, cleaning and restocking the area. They had a nice selection of breads and bagels with a toaster. There was also some biscuits and gray with sausage crumbles that you could add if you like. My favorite was the scrambled eggs with smoked kielbasa's on the side. There were little single serve peanut butter and jelly containers as well as butter. There was a refrigerator with fruit yogurt, milk, packages with two hard boiled eggs and for the children there was a fruit cup, apple sauce cup, Brekkies (a soft chocolate chip, oat and flax) cookie and last but not least Uncrustables. There was also single serve cereal containers ranging from mini-wheats to fruit loops. 24 hour coffee service was always spot on. All in all we had a very nice stay at a warm and friendly Inn.

I expected a dumpy outdated hotel with bare minimum comfort. I was hoping only for a clean room, not much more. When we arrived, we walked into a beautiful rustic lobby. Peaceful music was playing and a fire was dancing in the gas hearth fireplace. The feel of a cabin in the woods, yet clean, spacious, and very pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was VERY clean, including the corners in the bathroom and other often-overlooked places. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice-sized. One nice perk....our room window had screens and we could open the window to enjoy the fresh, cool breeze. Even though the hotel was full of guests and we know there were children (we saw them passing in the hallway) the hotel was extremely quiet. No sound of slamming doors, running, voices....nothing. We stayed 2 nights and it was quiet both nights. The breakfast was above the quality we usually experience at hotels. Everything was fresh and hot. Seemed that the quality/taste of the food was better than usual too. Eggs appeared to be "real" eggs, not powdered. There was a nice selection of breads, including gluten free and the local favorite....wild rice cranberry. Everything was clean and well-stocked. There were some healthier choices for those who are calorie conscious. The coffee was a lot better than most hotel coffees. The breakfast room was spacious and had a little table for children. There were some children using that table when we were there, and they were thrilled to have their own little place to sit. There was a nice sized grassy area adjacent to the hotel, which also had a playground. This is a nice bonus for guests with children. We did not use the pool, but it looked to be nice-sized and well-maintained. There was also a pool table. My husband used the exercise room, and he said that the machines were in good shape and not broken like most hotel machines are. There was a gas BBQ grill and a fire pit available in the area just outside the breakfast room. We hoped to use those, and enjoy an evening by the fire, but the wind kicked up, and changed our plans. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area!
