Completed the Mt Hood summit program with my brother and nephew and it was amazing. These guys are professional, courteous and very good at what they do. I highly recommend their service and worth the cost. Showed up the day prior to the summit attempt and completed about 6 hours of training and familiarization. Their rental gear is top notch, Black Diamond, Mammut, Scarpa, etc. All in very good condition. After training showed up around 1:30am to catch the Cat to the top of the Palmer lift. Reached the summit around 7:30am. We had three groups with each guide having 3 climbers. Our guides Geof, Brandon and Cliff were great. Thanks guys!!!! Hope to do another guided tour with them soon.

Happy feeling after climbing Mt Jefferson's West Rib route :)

On the day we climbed, the owner Pete did the same climb with his 11 year old son for the first time.

Overall, I just truly love this place. From day camps to birthday parties, it's just organized and run to perfection. The staff know my kids by name which makes me feel so comfortable when we drop off for a day camp. We have yet to have a negative experience and probably have 70+ visits. I love this place and the staff. To the owner, great job hiring and give the entire staff a raise. Thank you!

During one game, the goalie from one team attacked another player by shoving his head into the wall and punching him repeatedly. The guy that got attacked walked right by us with a beaten face, which scared my kids for obvious reasons. I was concerned about the way Cascade Indoor Sports handled it by letting the instigator walk out among the crowd. I can understand a game getting a little heated, but this seemed criminal. Trying to reassure myself and the business I've given Cascade through their kids programs over the years, I asked my husband if this happens often. He and no fewer than 6 people around me from other teams immediately replied that type of behavior was very common for the team on the field. Two people had their own personal stories of that team using their fists in past seasons. It became clear in that moment that Cascade doesn't care about fostering a fun and SAFE environment by the people they allow to do business there. I will not be subjecting my children to that level of violence and behavior.

I find myself wanting to move, and enjoying day to day opportunities to walk, to balance, to stretch. I found that taking a class of hers once a week was so great that I wanted more. And, whatever else is happening in my life, I attend her classes. This is the first fitness program that I don't make myself go to. I want to go, and wake up excited for the next thing I'll learn. She has always personalized things to my level, and always struck just the right balance in encouraging me to stretch a bit beyond my current comfort zone while honoring my body's current limitations. Even if if I start out limited in my ability to do a particular exercise, she always makes it clear that these limitations will fade as I continue to train. And she's always right. She expresses faith in my continued ability to improve, which makes me strive harder. Something about her groups: These are the most encouraging workout groups I've ever been a part of. Most classes at most fitness centers, I wouldn't attend, because most "fitness moves" don't flow intuitively for me. They take effort, and I tend to need patient coaching with repetition until I "get it". Jess' groups give me the guidance and support I need. I risk more, I laugh a lot, I sweat more than I'd expect -- and the people in the group are always encouraging -- even if something takes me three times as long to complete as it does anyone else. Some of this is due to the wonderful people in her groups, and some of it is due to the fun, noncompetitive, and even playful environment that Jess fosters. It's this environment and this coaching that have allowed me to improve and to increase my movement capabilities so rapidly. It's safe to not get it right the first time; it's safe to say, "I don't understand; can you help me?" And it's a part of the fun to keep trying until I get there. I've never giggled so much in a workout, or improved so quickly! You know how little kids are always finding ways to move, how they don't easily "sit still" or just walk as a means to an end? Rather than seeing them simply walk you'll see them twirl, climb, dance, jump. Since working with Jess, I feel like one of those kids -- looking for new ways to move, to balance, to climb, and enjoying finding and learning new ways to move. I'm very impressed with Jess - her ability to affirm and train people, from beginners to experienced athletes, is something I haven't seen before. I feel like I have an ally in my movement and my movement goals now -- an ally in both Jess herself and the great groups she leads.
