Do not go here. They shred your cuticles. I just had a dipping powder manicure, and the nail tech first filed my nails down to a short length, then trimmed my cuticles without soaking them first. Four of my fingers are currently bleeding. He then rushed through the dipping powder, and didn't clean my fingers after each dip, so now my fingers are stained the color of the polish. I wish I could say this is the first time they've done this but in a previous trip another nail technician also cut my cuticles so much they bled. The man doing mine is was too rough and cut/pricked my toes about six times even though I kept asking him to be gentle. The woman that did my daughter's toenails did a good job. While I literally never leave reviews this place is just wow. While my nails look fine... I paid $81 for a full ACRYLIC set? $97 after tip. On top of it the lady took TWO HOURS to do this. I love this nail salon for my regular pedicure. I always see Genny when I visit. She is so friendly and gives the best foot and leg massage. The salon has an excellent choice of polish, including OPI. It's neet and clean with a friendly and attentive staff. Walk ins welcome. They are also open seven days per week! I chose this place because my daughter and I wanted to get our nails done last minute and it was close to the restaurant we were going to dinner afterwards. I got only the express mani/pedi and it took nearly two hours. Although friendly, my tech was obviously unskilled. I could tell from the start of my appointment when my tub water was too cool even after telling her so. The place is dirty and has poor ventilation. Even with my mask on the chemicals were overwhelming. My cuticles are throbbing today and my thumb scabbed from bleeding during my manicure. Instead of telling me that the polish I chose was nearly empty, my tech slopped sticky polish on my nails anyway and tried thinning it out with polish remover. I could have done a better job. I'll be going back to appointment only salons from now on. I give a generous 3 stars as my daughter liked how her gel manicure turned out. read more

I had Jessica and she was very quiet, which I definitely don't mind. I don't love the nails. The shape is very different from the picture I showed her, (which I added for reference) and the application of the acrylic was not good. The gel has bumps and bubbles in it, and they just looks messy when you really look at them. Some of them taper off a lot more than others. My middle finger nail on my right hand is noticeably shorter than the rest of my nails. They are fine looking nails, just not how I wanted them:( read more

This was hands-down the best experience I've had at a nail salon- and I've been getting my nails professionally done for years. Firstly, the salon is well-managed and very clean! Has a great atmosphere. I came in with a difficult and time-consuming request and it was handled very well. I requested a removal of a full-set of acrylics and a new set put on, which is generally a frustrating task. Henry was an amazing tech who helped me fix my nails with a great attitude and perfect technique. He had my nails done in a timely manner and put the new set on perfectly. In response to the info from the salon. I acknowledged that the manager tried to make it right and that I chose not to do so. But to be very clear, at no time did the nail tech ever ask if I wanted my nails buffed or I would have said yes as that is what most salons will do if you don't want polish. And as you can tell from the pictures it isn't just my cuticles but also the ragged edges. And as for my toes. The only thing the manager did was to remove the polish the nail tech got on my shoes - which I took the blame for because I moved when he was polishing my toes. But at no time did the nail tech care that he got polish on my shoes. I could have written a MUCH harsher review but chose not to as I wanted to be fair and acknowledge the things that were done right. But to say these were minor things when the only thing you have to do is to actually give a good manicure and pedicure is ridiculous. read more

I have come to this salon every other week for months. For the last 2 months every time I make an appointment, they act like I don't have one and shuffle me around in the middle of my manicure. They are also taking on too many people at once which is making it so they aren't really focused on the service. My nails have been subpar as has the service. Last time I had 3 different technicians for one manicure. This time the gentleman that was doing my nails was disinterested and rude and would not help me at all. I left with a half done manicure. He was looking around all the time and massages feels like rubbing. Did a bad job shaping my toe nails. Even painting on the colour is bad. I had to tell him to do 3 layer cause is so uneven. Then when I went home, I saw some unevenness on my toe nails cause the oil from lotion is not removed properly. Bad bad. Mani was done abit better. But did not like when she file my nails with the machine. Cause she is lazy n needed to rush on with other client. But colour is nice. Just feels like she rushed me out. The Best Place to get your nails, lashes, and Microblading done. I have been coming to this salon for the last 2 years, I started with the nails services here. The staff is really friendly, they take time to do my nails even though they got really busy. I start going to see Johnny, he's such an artist. Then I got my lashes done from Vinnie, he's so patient and does a really good job on my lashes. My lashes never get over-glued, they are really soft although I got the full volume lashes done, Then, I saw they offer Microblading services, at first I was very cautious because it's permanent on my face, but after doing researches and follow their Instagram, I decided to get them done, it was one of the best decisions that I have made in my life. They turned out so natural, and nicely shaped. I can clearly see all the hair strokes that were made on eyebrows. I love them a lot. Highly recommend this service here. On top of that, I have not seen any arguments between staff here. They care about the quality than quantity. All the pedi tubs have liners and they use all new nails file and pumice stones. I have gone here twice in the last 2 months & both times disappointed because of the lack of communication and waited almost 2 hours just to get my nails finished and multiple people able to go in front of me. I love to get my nails done with different nails designs, I've been trying so many nails salons in Fort Collins, there were some bad and ok ones, but I have not been totally satisfied with my nails at other places until I tried this place. They are so clean and so meticulous about my nails. The shape and designs are out off the world. I have never been that happy with my nails until I tried this place. After a crazy 12+ weeks, I was looking forward to relaxing with a mani/pedi. I have been here several times and generally have a 3 star experience. Today was the 2nd time Tom worked on me and it is the 2nd time it was awful. Pedi: - used acrylic on my large toe without asking or explaining - dremeled all toenails nipping cuticles and skin several times = bleeding - acrylic left too thick causing pressure on toe when wearing shoes - polish too thick = bubbles and smears - did not address calluses as the package I chose indicated Mani: - nails filed unevenly - nipped cuticle too short in several places = bleeding - dremeled fingernails nipping cuticles and skin several times = bleeding - polish too thick = bubbles and smears His attempt at fixing things was to add yet another layer of thick polish. I asked another customer to help me identify someone I could talk with about getting these things corrected. The manager assigned someone new to 'repair' the situation. - All polish removed - all nails filed to look more even - acrylic on toes filed down to be thinner - they still look odd - whatever - polish reapplied - was told to "use oil" on my cuticles I stayed an additional 30 min to let the polish dry before leaving. they charged my $40 to help remedy the situation. The appointment lasted a total of 3hr:30min for what I wanted was a basic mani/pedi nothing fancy. Used their flip-flops to get myself home, washed hands (cuticles are burning from being too short), applied 1st aid ointment, ate lunch, did some other stuff, all bare foot for an additional 2 hours. Checked for smudges - All clear. Put on socks and shoes. I have things to do. 10min later my socks are sticking to my toenails. I look at my fingernails and the polish is smudged as well. Frustrated I use nail polish remover to remove polish on fingers and toes and it SLIDES off! Additionally the acrylic that was put on my large toes is peeling away from the nail at the edges. I clean up, add more first aid ointment, put on socks. Now the edges of the acrylic are snagging on my socks.... If you love Timberline Nails on College I would recommend avoiding Tom. Due to the whole experience, I will not be returning. read more
