The filing and drilling job was a mess - I asked for rounded nails and ended up with extreme-filed almond nails at first, turned into somewhat rounded nails after I asked multiple times for them to be more rounded and centered. On most nails, the sides are so intensely filed that it exposes the skin under my nail, and two nails started to bleed early on the sides on in the appointment. When drilling, she didn't seem to have any attention to detail and repeatedly went over the nail onto the skin. I would've walked out if I wasn't heading out of town tomorrow - I didn't realize how bad it was until I got outside. I first asked for a 10 nail design which she said yes to, but then seemed to backtrack/not be interested in doing even if I was willing to pay. I asked several times if she had time/if it was okay and she kept saying yet. She had me pick colors before starting anything else, and we took about 10 minutes for this. She then started drilling and said she wasn't a good artist and didn't know how good the design would look, so I showed her this design which she called "easy." I ended up with a version of it, but as you can see in the photos, the flower petals are in no way uniform in shape or size across each finger. If equipment was cleaned between clients, there was no sign of it. Everything seemed to come from the same 2 dust-covered containers. Really disappointed.

I've visited Royce Spa midtown location a couple times to get my nails done and the thing I enjoy…read moremost is their customer service. For every visit, they offer you a free beverage and have several options to choose from. The chairs are nice and plush and have a nice massage option. I really like that they cover the pedicure water bowl with a plastic liner and replace the liner after each guest to keep the space sanitary. The location is clean, bright, and modern. It's beautiful! On my first visit, I got a new set of acrylic nails and a pedicure so I had two nail artists assisting me at the same time. I was particular about the color I was getting because I was preparing to be maid of honor for my sister's wedding and wanted to make sure my nails were more of a nude slightly pink color. I came in with an example picture from IG. The manager, Chloe, was super helpful and demonstrated several colors to make sure I got what I wanted. The acrylic set I got was exactly what I wanted including the color and shape. Most notably, the nail artist filed them in a way that they were sharp which is important to me. I hate the feeling of dull nails. The acrylic set was so basic with the color, but I received so many compliments on them! My friends and the bridesmaids used them as inspo for their nails, too. For my pedicures, I've worked with the same person on both visits and they did not do a great job with the nail polish on my toes. On the first visit, the nail polish application was really splotchy. You could see bumps on the nail polish. The nail polish might've been dry or something, but the nail artist was just going to leave it like that so I mentioned it to Chloe and she was super kind in staying late (after the nail spa closed) to make sure my nail polish looked great and smooth. Because we were there after hours, she added a layer of gel to the top of the regular polish for free so that it would dry faster which I appreciated. On my second visit, the same nail artist assisted me with my pedicure and it turned out mostly okay, but it's been a little over a week and my nails are already chipping which is unusual for my toes. Overall, I've had great experiences with the staff (minus one, but we won't let one spoil the bunch) so I would recommend Royce Spa midtown to anyone especially if you have a chance to work with Chloe. She listens to customers and seems to take great pride in her work.

I have been a regular at Namaste Salon for the past ... five? six? ... years? However, my stylist…read morethrough all those years recently decided to move to another salon in the area to shorten her commute. While I will follow her to the new salon, if I have any problems there or anything changes such that I need a new stylist I will not hesitate to come back to Namaste. I have to commend them in particular for their handling of COVID precautions throughout the pandemic. I was particularly nervous about whether it was worth the risk to get my hair done when things first started opening back up after the lockdown last spring, but decided to give it a try after talking through all of the precautions they were taking with my stylist. They were limiting the number of clients/stylists/other staff in the salon, requiring masks, doing temperature checks and waivers before you came into the salon, and asking everyone to wash their hands upon first entering the salon. I could see that they had implemented new disinfection procedures for common-use items (pens, bowls/brushes for color, maybe combs and such? There were stacks of bins with these materials by the sink ...) and were disinfecting chairs in between clients. My stylist's normal station was the one closest to the door, but she moved me to one of the upstairs stations so I wouldn't be in the high traffic area while my color was processing (generally at least 1.5 if not 2 hours). They kept up these precautions all the way through my last appointment at the end of March. I'm sure things will be getting back to normal, now that people are getting vaccinated and the state and county are easing public health restrictions, but I appreciated their commitment to doing things right -- not just the COVID precautions, but doing right by their clients, as well. Although I had already received a text from my stylist letting me know that she was moving, the salon did call me to let me know. They offered to rebook me with another stylist if I preferred, but no pressure. I know that this can be a cutthroat business -- at a previous salon I found out about my stylist pursuing other career opportunities when I showed up for an appointment and found they had "done me the favor" of rebooking me with the stylist that they just hired -- so I appreciate the way Namaste handled this. Having said all of that, I will leave you with a parking tip -- schedule your appointments for the evenings or Saturdays so you can easily park in the courthouse parking lot, which is just a block away (but from the end of May to early October make sure to schedule around the Saturday morning Farmers' Market).

Average at best, I'd be surprised if they last 1 week and I'm already debating the use of mascara to keep them from crossing. There's nothing more embarrassing than 'crossed lashes' that keep splitting and creating gaps. Only thing I'd change is being that I weigh more and she weighs less, that rolling pedicure straddle bench on the smooth floor was slightly uncomfortable (unless u can lock the wheels?) because it's hard to keep my feet up on it without pushing her away lol. I like complex nails and wanted someone who wouldn't be intimidated and could achieve what I was looking for. I called to confirm the appointment was with this specific person a week ago, they said it was. I drove nearly an hour because her expertise seemed worth it. As I am nearly to the salon, I get 2 back to back calls asking if booking with her was a mistake, and to call back if it was. I arrived, they once again asked me if it was a mistake, I said no it wasn't. They told me okay, figured that was that. They put me with someone else anyway without telling me. I figured she was just getting my nails prepped, then I'd switch to who I asked for when she was ready. Nope, she did the whole thing, while noticeably uncomfortable with the design I wanted, as I watched the girl I requested take a different client. She did her best, but they're not even close to what I wanted, not even color. The shape and application is average for any salon. She rushed off to her next client before I was able to look at them fully finished. I was getting a pedicure so I figured I would have her fix them or at least do something to make it a bit better for me when she was done with that client. Instead she brought me my receipt, said they were already done and that she had to go, so I basically got stuck leaving with nails I hated. I'm primarily frustrated because at any point during the week I could've been contacted regarding scheduling, I would've been happy to move it to another day, or another time to remain with the tech I wanted. I went to every length to ensure I would have who I wanted, and only when I was already an hour away from home and sat in a random techs chair did I learn that wasn't happening. I spent near $150 on nails I'm replacing at a different salon tomorrow

So let me begin this is my go to place I have been going to this salon for 10 years now if thay tells you how good thay are from the minute you walk thri the door until you leave you are greeted by friendly staff that want to actually take care of you and help you relax and feel pampered I am a very picky person AMD I am very happy with the service I get you take any nail design and thay will make it happen my artist is vinnie the owner he is awesome has many years experience and knows what he is doing pays very close attention to detail AMD makes sure you are happy I also had my microblading AMD permanent makeup done bu him as well it was the best decision I ever made he is a master AMD explain everything step by step this salon is very clean and the sanitation is their main concern when you get your pedicure done with liner I'm the pedicure chair it makes you feel good to know your feet are in a good place if you want friendly repectfuland good service this is your place your just not a client you become family if you are a regular go once and you will never leave all the tenchians are wonderful you will be in good hands come give them a try you will be glad your did read more

I've been getting my nails done at a different nail salon for a while, at first they did a fairly good job so I kept going out of convenience. The last several times it has gotten worse with each visit. The staff seemed arrogant, unfriendly, and always in a hurry to get you out of the chair. It was time to search for a better place. I got online and viewed many different nail places, reading all the reviews. I landed on Timberline Nails & Lashes, pleased with the reviews I made an appointment. They were able to get me in right away, and were pleasant to speak with over the phone. I was happy to walk in to a well kept salon with friendly faces and felt very welcomed. Mia, started working on my nails and I knew right away this was going to be different from the last salon. She was very precise, took her time, and knew exactly what she was doing. The best Salon in Fort Collins. Moving from Denver to Fort Collins. I tried different places in Fort Collins to get my feet and nails done, was not happy with the quality of work they did. Then, I go to Timberline Nails and Lashes on College location to get my nails done. The first thing I see is a big place, it is nicely organized and clean. The staff is super friendly and the quality of work is beyond other place. Jenny did a shellac mani for me, she took her time and listened to what I expected on my nails. My manicure lasts longer than other places. Then, I noticed they offer Microblading. After having a free consultation, I decided to get them done by Vinnie. He did an amazing job. He warmly explained me the entire procedure and how to take care of them. I'm so so happy, He made them look like real. The healing process was not bad at all, no scalping. I've been coming to Timberline Salon for many months now. All of the employees are very kind and welcoming when you arrive. I see some of the reviews complain about the cost of services, but what people are not taking into consideration is the STERILIZATION process Timberline offers. I guarantee you will NOT find a salon of the same size that is this clean and utllitlizes a high standard of sterilization techniques. If you are not happy with your service then politely discuss with the manager, they will make it right. There is no need to bash a good business because you want to throw a temper tantrum. Unfortunately, ive been coming here for 3 years to see Christina who hasnt been there the past 2× ive gone and I will never go back. I had referred a friend who got treated extremely poorly by Tim, so i decided to go in with her and witness the disrespect towards not only my friend but me as well. My friend and i gave him 2 chances each. Tim is the MOST RUDE nail tech I EVER have come in contact with, and will not be back because of him. I had waited 45mins already, and he decided to ignore me and wobble his ass to the back with a serious attitude problem. I left immediately. Very good service :) went with a friend to get mani-pedis for a girls day, i got the Delux Mani-Pedi & she got the Standard. I wanted to match my nails to my dress for my boyfriends graduation & the nail technician took the time to create flowers on my nails that I looked up online. She was so great. The technicians were very friendly and conversed with me and my friend rather than sitting awkward and quietly. Stopping by last week for a quick checking out a new location. Me and my wife both got the jelly spa pedicure. It wasn't sound as tasty like it look. I'm very impressed, my pedicure was amazing. They took their time and keep going with all the spectacular products, I didn't know my pedicure last nearly 1hour. Once I found her studio, a chic and comfortably space on the top floor, she quickly greeted me and made me feel welcome. I was hesitant to spend this kind of money again, but seeing her work and then hearing her talk me through the process, it quickly became clear how knowledgeable she is and that she loves what she does. All in, the process took just about three hours between consult and the service. She provides you with a take-home care kit and instructions to follow during the healing process to make sure you get the best results. Navigating the neighborhood in the snow with dozens of similarly-designed condos and no outside signage at all made it... interesting. The surprise came with the location - from booking I knew it would be in someone's home, but you literally get waxed in the middle of her dining/living room. She stated she lives alone, but it's quite odd to be in the middle of someone's living space with no curtains or doors for privacy when changing (or someone else was home - I wouldn't know). Very strange. For the same price, someone else can offer waxing from a clean business storefront with a private room. The wax itself was fine - not the most painful I've ever gotten and not the least painful, either. She uses a different kind of material to pull up the wax which I didn't feel strongly about, but it did seem to have a habit of being hard to pull up around the edges. For the same price, I'd go elsewhere, but it works in a pinch.

I canceled because of a snowstorm with up to a foot of snow predicted. The school district closed for a snow day and many businesses were also closed due to the weather. I was very happy with my service and I will be back in the future. (sooner than 4 years from now lol!)

I have been going to Penny for almost 20 years. I started when I met an intern at work in Golden from CSU and liked her unique haircut, asked her where she got it cut and have been going to see Penny ever since. Yes, I would drive from Golden to get my hair done, cut, highlights, perm, whatever. When I got married and moved to Colorado Springs my husband and I would drive up. Yes, from Colorado Springs. We loved Fort Collins and moved here as soon as he retired. Now we don't have to drive so far to see our favorite stylist. We are both very picky about our hair and we love her. If I ask for different colored highlights or low lights than before she gets it right every time. She is also affordable! I can't believe what some salons charge for haircolor, it's outrageous! She has always had affordable prices. She rents her booth there like the other stylists. Some have been there just as long and some of them are newer. If you try someone other than Penny, you might ask Penny what her feedback is on the level of experience of that person so you are comfortable with them. This shop is a brand-new shop that they are in so everything is new, new chairs, new sinks, all that stuff. I would say this is a great place to get your hair done, especially for big events. They don't do a lot of other stuff as far as I know. They may offer other things like lash extensions, but I would go somewhere else for those things.

First off, I drove AN HOUR to get to this place, only to find out Betty has failed to properly put me in her schedule and was surprised to see me waiting there at 10am. I was about to walk out and not even consider a re schedule. That was just terribly unprofessional and embarrassing on her end. She ended up somehow being able to take me at noon. So to clearly state this, I WAITED TWO HOURS...and guess what! Another gal walks in and I strike up conversation with her while I wait, she was there to see Betty for a Brazillian Blowout at noon. HMMMMM.... The stylist comes out and little do you know she scheduled this other Gal for the same day however had no recollection of it. We BOTH showed her the text messages of her confirming our appointments and she just gave us excuses as to why it was weird how that happened when she had clearly responded and confirmed our appointments. UNPROFESSIONAL. The other girl moved her appointment because she lived in town while I lived 52 miles away. Betty half ass-ed every aspect of my appointment. I hate my highlights. They look like I did them myself and frankly I feel as if I would have done a better job!! There are DOTS of color, they look ORANGE, and it is only the roof top of my head. They don't even look like highlights as much as it looks like a layer of orange on the top of my head. I want to cry about it just writing this. IM AFRAID TO GO BACK TO HER TO GET IT FIXED. I AM ON THE VERGE OF BOX COLORING IT MYSELF! To keep the rest of this as short as I can, she did a good job on the first 15 minutes of straightening my hair for the Brazillian Blowout, however when she realized that she had yet another appointment coming up, she began to go quicker and half ass the rest of my hair. In the end, I took her straightener and was doing my own hair. If that doesn't say something I don't know what does. The whole event took 8 HOURS OF MY DAY. 2 FOR WAITING, 2 FOR DRIVING, 4 FOR THE APPOINTMENT THAT WAS MIS QUOTED ON TIME, MAKING ME 2 HOURS LATE TO WORK. I tipped her but I shouldn't have. She is unprofessional, makes excuses, drops everything, ANSWERS HER PHONE IN THE MIDDLE OF DOING YOUR HAIR, has only been doing this for five years, and I don't think this experience I had today was worth a single cent out of my broke pocket. Save yourself the stress and money. Go somewhere else.
