Terrible experience at Timbers last night. Reviews are accurate! We ordered burgers and pork pot stickers. I ordered my burger well done and it came out in less than 5 minutes. Even the waitress seemed surprised by how quickly it arrived. I cut into the burger and it was bright red. Complete opposite of well done. I showed the waitress and she took it back. The next burger did not take long to arrive and was well done. It was also burnt with bacon on it (I had requested no bacon). My husband described his burger just as gross and could only eat half (mac n cheese burger). The pot stickers were okay. The sauce was basically soy sauce with crushed red pepper in it. Our waitress was nice and attentive. She did remove the charge for my burger. I definitely will not be back. read more

Bruston was customer service to the top degrees! Greeter told us we couldn't sit in a booth on account of having no server. Bruston saved the evening by allowing us to relocate to a comfortable booth. Salad. Pulled pork tacos so juicy. Philly cheesesteak hoagie with tender beef, creamy provolone, and fresh, abundant peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Loved the cozy, comfortable decor and seating here. Went here for dinner last night and was extremely disappointed. First, we ordered an appetizer and soup. The soup came with the appetizer and the meals were out before we even ate a couple of bites. This is an irritation but I can overlook it. What was worse was that vegetables that we ordered with a meal came out burnt. They were black and you couldn't even tell what they were. The waitress did get a replacement vegetable but this should not have even been served. For what we received this meal was way too expensive and not worth it. Go somewhere else. read more

This is at 7 springs so I expected way way better of a meal. 3 of us got the buffet in the other room that was priced around $33 a person . The variety looked great however everything was cold it was in pans with chafer dishes . Poor set up for a high class resort if you ask me . The other person who ordered the Chicken salad was the only one satisfied. We complained about the miscommunication of the price and how the food was colds The mangers did give us about a $10 discount per person. If I went back I would try some things from the menu but would not get the buffet. read more

Just ate here this evening. I had low expectations on the food (due to prior experiences with the food at Seven Springs)- boy was I surprised. Had the free range chicken and it was surprisingly really, really good. The best roasted chicken that I have had in a VERY long time. Very juicy, tender but not overlooked. Nice half chicken portion. The menu description doesn't do it justice. The mashed potatoes were very tasty, as were the high quality green beans that were also part of the meal. The food came out super quick after I ordered and it was served piping hot. The downsides: pricey ($18.95, no salad or soup with it, no bread), service was ehh (quick food delivery but no checking back to see how it was, and my drink sat empty for a good bit of my meal). The ambiance is lacking. It is noisy. The salt and pepper shakers were dirty, with salt crusted all over. But the chicken. I will be afraid to ever order it again in hopes that it just couldn't live up to this chicken and I'll be disappointed. read more

We came here to grab a bite to eat before going tubing. I was looking for the cafe where you could just grab something quick but couldn't find it. Waitress was nice. Food meh. We split the hummus app which was pretty good. Came with a really nice portion of fresh veggies and fried pita ( which was dripping in oil so my boyfriend just ate those). I ordered the salmon salad which came with a pumpkin dressing which turned out to be a weird concoction of pumpkin purée and lots of oil. I asked for some balsamic dressing instead and it turned out to be some weird packaged overly sweet dressing. Yuck. The salmon on the salad was decent. My boyfriend ordered buffalo blue wings. They were clearly from mutant hormone pumped chickens as they were the size of my hand...guess that can be good if you're into that sort of thing. They were covered in what looked like a cheese wiz glaze and served with some packaged "bleu cheese" dressing. We checked yelp after and just laughed. read more

The dining experience I had at the Timbers probably most negatively affected my experience at the Seven Springs Resort. I don't even want to give this place one star because we were so terribly treated by one server lady whose name starts with C., but the manager resolved the issue in a wonderful manner - so one stars, generously! We were having a family gathering at the resort, and we decided to have a light lunch at the Timbers. We saw that they have a soup and salad bar for $8 on the menu, so we all decided to do that. When bill came, it turned out to be $9.50. We weren't upset about it, but curious why this happened - so we asked the server lady. What happened afterward, I could not believe my eyes!!!! She slammed the table and said "I will go get the manager!" (thank god she did). Then, as she was coming back, she yelled at us..and said "I made an announcement to you all (finger pointing at all of us) that it was $9.50. (and..not one person out of 13..heard you say that??!?!). It was so outrageous..we could not speak!! Thankfully, the manager that day came over, apologized. Because of this incident, I don't even remember what I ate there - and the entire time we were there and had to eat at either Slopeside or Timber..we were so afraid that we would see her again! I don't know when we will visit Seven Springs again..but I would avoid eating at the restaurant at all cost! read more

We go up to 7springs skiing 2-3 times a week and go to most of the festivals. Every year we try Timbers once and we are always sadly disappointed. Today was not an exception... The onion petals, salad, pretzels are all things u can get at costco or SAMs and make yourself..if not better. The pretzel bites were deep fried which the menu didn't say...very gross! But the bar had soft pretzels?? Maybe the stale ones were cut up and fried from there?? Nothing tasted as expensive as it was priced. Again so disappointed. read more

I was very leery of this restaurant after looking at the Yelp reviews, when the huge group of us (16) decided to dine here for lunch last weekend. Nobody was disappointed- even the 6 kids, who mostly ate from the salad bar! This review is solely for the salad bar, which may be one of the best I've ever seen. It consists of ~3 premade salads which are over-dressed but otherwise, really good, a regular salad bar with more toppings that I can even remember, delicious grilled portabellas with balsamic glazed roasted tomatoes, cheese cube/crackers, a bread station with a bout 6 different bread choices (try the cinnamon butter), 3 different homemade soups to warm your soul, and last but not least, an array of all you can stuff your face with desserts! I'm sure I forgot to name something in that long list... Needless to say, I got my fill of salads and soups for lunch. The only part of the meal I did not care for much was the dessert I chose, but that didn't ruin my opinion of the restaurant. Service was also spot on, even with our large group! read more

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. The food is terrible. My son in law had wings that were served cold. When we told the waiter he took his plate with half eaten other wings and brought it back the same way. The fries were cold also and were hard as a rock. I had the chicken wrap that was so dry. I would expect so much more from Seven Springs! Spent $150.00 for our family to eat and none of it was edible. Stay away from this place ! read more

Greeted by a friendly hostess, served by a kind waiter in training. Service a solid 5/5. Pretzel with beer cheese. Perfect. Served hot, salty and cheesy - everything you'd expect. Solid 5/5 Three burgers ordered. Each cooked perfectly with piping hot fries. We were not a fan of the burger buns - but that's a personal thing. DO NOT EAT HERE. First we waited for 55 MINUTES. The waitress said "sorry, the fries take a while, the wings take a while!" No they don't. Fries do not take 55 minutes to warm up. The food is not great, and over priced. ALSO I got exactly 9 fries with my meal. That isn't very many fries. Pathetic excuse for an expensive resort "restaurant". Our group came here on our last day and it was unfortunately a bad experience. Issues were: 1. Almost 30 minutes to get drinks (including water) 2. Half of the salads came out without dressings. After 3 requests, 1 person gave up and never got their dressing at all. 3. Food was served without silverware. Had to wait for our waitress to come back from the kitchen to request it. 4. The bottled beer was past it's "best by" date by 2 months. 5. Burger and fries were COLD. 6. Mules were not made as described and were overcharged (waitress corrected the charge after it was pointed out to her). 7. 2 orders of the same wings were placed by 2 members of our party. 1 order came out sauced and with carrots. Another order came out with no sauce and with fries?! We would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone and would not return. Go to the foggy and get better service there. read more

First didn't know how to serve wine second I ordered burrata and the wait staff said it was a type of tomato, third the burrata was actually some kind of pseudo American/cheddar curd not actually burrata which is a mozzarella outer shell with s creamy center... Probably one of the most disgusting meals I have ever eaten in over 30 years of coming to 7 Springs. The burger was uncooked and so greasy that the bottom of the bun was saturated. It also came with fries that were uncooked. I asked the waitress for new ones and the next set were even less cooked than the first. I'm sorry people but french fries are not supposed to be cold and hard in the middle. Despite the fact that I ate nothing and sent it back twice the waitress was still nice enough to charge me for it. Just like all the other reviews state, this place is a joke. You would be better off getting something out of a vending machine! read more

Two words-Never Again. This restaurant is located inside a pricey resort. Because if that you expect the food to be good. Actually you expect it to be very good. There are other restaurants at the resort-two which are higher end a some that are basic fare to bar food. Timbers is in the middle. They serve burgers, salads, sandwiches, steaks, and Amish chicken to list a few things. My husband ordered the Mountain Meatloaf. It came with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. The meatloaf was mostly filler and wrapped in a barely heated piece of bacon. My husband liked the potatoes and the veggies. I ordered the Flat Iron steak which also came with the same mashed potatoes and veggies. My steak was close to burnt on the outside and extremely chewy on the inside. I wasn't a huge fan of the mashed potatoes because they had all sorts of things added in. Basically the veggies were the only good thing I had. Thinking that a good dessert would make up for a bad meal I ordered the Chocolate Avalanche. No. Just No. The cake was cold and dry. I ate one bite and that was one bite too many. We should have checked the Yelp reviews before eating here. We made a horrible assumption that it would be good. read more

I have had decent experiences at Timbers. This place is located inside the main lodge at 7Springs next to the Slopeside dining room. I always stop by here after a full day of Snowboarding and I have usually been satisfied (full) after getting a burger. Granted many folks aren't down for burgers and what not so they have a salad bar. So, you could possibly eat salad until you burst. I've had good service and I haven't had any bad experiences. It's been pretty legit so far and I've been there for about 3 years now and there aren't too many changes. read more

This might be one of the worst places I've ever eaten. The prices are bad they actually charge two dollars per chicken wing. The burgers are expensive to and it wasn't even cooked.... I'm talking sautéed onions cold like refrigerator cold. Someone is going to get sick eating at this restaurant. We let the manager know of the problem and he didn't charge for the burger .... Stopped by Seven Springs resort to walk around being that we haven't been there in years and we were in the area. The resort is beautifully renovated inside! Decided to have dinner at Timbers last minute. We had high expectations because we remember the food was good the last few times we were there years ago. Unfortunately we were disappointed. We were the first to be seated at 4:00 when they opened. Our waitress was nice but not very attentive. Most of the wait staff stood around taking until more people came. We ordered the potstickers for an appetizer and most of them were cold in the middle. I ordered the meat loaf and mashed potatoes with the seasonal vegetables. The meat loaf was ok but the bacon it was wrapped in was not cooked thoroughly. The mashed potatoes were cold and had way too much pepper in them. The vegetables were a zucchini mix with mushrooms and peppers that looked like they were cooked ten days ago. They were slimy and mushy. My husband ordered the Philly cheesesteak he said it was ok but nothing to write home about. My son had chicken tenders and fries and they seemed to be ok. Overall our experience was disappointing. We were expecting better quality of food for a resort such as this. Would not recommend. read more
