    "Steak skewers"

This restaurant is not worth your money. Do not go OR come here. Honestly the bar across the way and the chicken tenders at the fooggy goggle are more worth your money. The buffet was $51 a plate for unseasoned subpar food. The tuna and the wine were actually good, that was it!! Our server Sam did as good as she could with the horrible food and drinks - so nice and attentive and understanding - but here are photos of a cold "Irish coffee" and the French onion soup that resembled dish water. Also see - "steak skewers for $20" which consisted of ONE small skewer and sauce.

We came to Slope Side as part of a celebration for my Father's 75th Birthday. The atmosphere is nice with 7 Springs Iconic slopes viewed from the large windows. Our server was awesome, so friendly and attentive. She made the meal special for my dad and our family. The food is just ok. Most of our large party had the buffet, which no one was really impressed with. I had stuffed shrimp, again, decent, but nothing great.

Our server Melissa was wonderful and very attentive. We came on a slow day, so the dining room was pretty empty, but the food portions were huge, and came out in a timely manner.

Pumpkin roll, one star out of five. One of my favorite fall desserts generally but not this one.

The ambiance is nice as you overlook the ski slopes and mountains and beautiful trees. The service was good, staff was nice. The food was below average in the Autumnfest buffet. The stuffed chicken breast was almost impossible to cut and tasted like something frozen and microwaved that came from a wholesaler. Was looking forward to the pumpkin roll for dessert but it was so sweet I couldn't eat it. The vegetable soup was fine but not as good as what we had for lunch at a family restaurant nearby. Average quality was the upside. Would have given it 2.5 stars if I could. Nothing to write home about and not worth almost $80 with tip for two for the buffet. Not terrible but not worth the money for sure.

Slope side is a casual dining space located in the main dining area. Mostly buffet but they also have a menu that you can order from. There are large windows all along the side where you can view the slopes. I love the breakfast buffet, there is a nice variety of sweet and savory options. The dinner was good also, but if I had to choose, I would go for breakfast.

If you want the best view of the slopes while getting a bite, The Slopeside Dining Room is the spot for you. My family and I spent part of the day at Seven Springs, and before leaving, we wanted to get a bite for lunch. The hostess immediately showed us to a table, which was right next to the large windows. And our server was just behind her, with water and menus for all of us I decided to go with the onion soup. It was a cold winter day -- soup was what was needed. And it hit the spot. The cheese was deliciously melted on top, and the soup itself was salty, flavorful. I also got a house salad to go with it. My husband, his father and his father's girlfriend opted for the buffet. I nibbled a bit from my guy's plate, and all of it was good. The salad he came back with was particularly impressive, piled high with all of the fix-ins. The desserts were my fave part of the buffet. Chocolate, mint, cheesecake and more -- you could try it all. Slopeside provided just what we needed before heading out. If I'm ever back, I'll be sure to get a bite here.

Great breakfast buffet! There's a nice selection of pastries and a wonderful parfait bar. The omelette station is great and you can even ask for an egg white omelette! They always have omelettes, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage links, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, and pastries. Everything I tried was pretty tasty and I'd definitely recommend including breakfast in your package if you're staying at the Seven Springs lodge. The dinner buffet was also excellent. The salad bar is a little lacking but all the entrees and vegetables were delicious. There's a wide variety of items so it will please even the pickiest of eaters. The dessert table is also pretty good. The servers were all really nice and refilled our waters often. Overall great experience. The food was not 5 star restaurant delicious but still really good.

Tried the breakfast buffet for the first time since owning our condo, it was all fresh food even right up until the end of their buffet, the atmosphere was really great. Overall a really nice breakfast buffet if you're looking for a nice sit down breakfast.

We didn't know what to expect, especially seeing a few right-leaning shirts at the tables around us. Noticing this place while on a road trip we wanted to try it out. Breakfast was priced at $10.99 on the website. We got two plus one coffee and with tip the bill was about $35. Didn't add up, but ok. I noticed a few comments here about the staff being rude. We didn't experience that. From the cashier to the people serving drinks and picking up plates, they were nice and helpful. The food was ok, not great, but good for the price paid. I mean, from the mountains of food people were putting on their plates I'm a little confused how they make a profit. As a vegetarian and diabetic I had limited choice. If you are a meat eater, about every breakfast meat you can imagine they had, even something called scrapple, which is a regional thing I guess. There was an omelette station too. There was a dessert bar also. My husband -who has a sweet tooth- got a blueberry pie type dessert and could barely eat it because it was too sweet. As a diabetic it was good to see they had sugar free syrup and one sugar free dessert. On the buffet I could only have the eggs, mushrooms and a few house breakfast potatoes- which were quite good. We got there a little after 8:30 a.m. and it wasn't super busy. There was no waiting in line. When we left 45 minutes later, there was a huge line. Overall happy we tried it out. If we lived here we may go back to try out lunch or dinner. This isn't gourmet food, and for the price paid you wouldn't expect it. If you go, enjoy it for what it is.

Did I like everything on the buffet, no, but I did find plenty that I did like. They have a hot bar, a salad bar, a specialty bar, and a bakery bar. Nothing there was terrible, nothing was inedible, as some reviews have hinted. Some I liked better than others and In fact I'd go as far to say it's probably one of the better buffets in the area. For all you can eat, the price was very reasonable. If you can't find enough good food that you like to eat here, you are way too uppity to be eating at a buffet. I'd definitely go back, and soon.

Server approached our table promptly. We asked for a minute as we were unfamiliar with the menu. Review of the menu was surprising. This is a small operation so the menu was not extensive but the choices were reflective of home cooking. I ordered salmon patties (which I have not had since I was a kid) and my wife ordered a salad. Timing on bringing out the food could be improved as my order came out but my wife had to wait. To me it seemed like a small hometown cook. The wait for the second meal wasn't that long but we both found it strange. Atmosphere was clean and sedate. No loud patrons or booming sports TV's. I noticed that the servers did spend time talking to each other but nothing for me to complain about. Food was tasty and fresh. Portion sizes were acceptable, not huge nor skimpy. What caught our attention were the prices. A complete dinner with two sides was less than $10. Unbelievable. Staff seemed sort of unprepared almost as if they were new at the job but nice. Paying for the meal with electronic payment seemed new as they had to discover how to use Apple Pay. Overall a nice quiet hometown place. Would I recommend it. Absolutely. This place is not a fancy joint nor highly polished but if you want good food for a good value in a friendly atmosphere go here. If I'm in the area again I would return.
