Came in earlier this afternoon because one of my watches had a dead battery. I called and spoke to Andrew, and he was very pleasant on the phone and I decided to drop by to give him a try. I was in the neighbourhood, so getting to his store was really easy. Parking outside on Hastings was plenty, so that definitely makes things a lot easier. I was greeted by the same friendliness on the phone and told him I was the one that he spoke to 10 minutes ago. He took my watch into the back to open up and check what type of battery it required. It was a simple replacement and he charged me $12.xx for the whole thing. I was in and out of the store in less than 5 minutes, so service was definitely quick, friendly, and efficient. I do not recommend this repair man. He was very pleasant but is lack of professional ethics. He might be experience in repairing clock but not watch especially famous branded. For watch he can serve quartz watch by changing the batter and strap but charge you $15 - 20 for one cell depend on different client. The cell just costs $2 or less if bulk purchase. recently I had my watch with date to him to fix a loose stem and add a movement securing clamp. During pre-inspection, he told me the rotor cannot turn because one securing clamp lost and the stem loosen. I knew that. He told me he would call me two weeks later. He never take any phone call. Two weeks later, I went to see him. He did not start the work, but instead compliant me that if he finished would call me. Two weeks after I went to check, he dared to tell me your watch had a hole on the dial because the date disc wheel was stolen by someone, either my last watch repairman or someone. And laughed at me that how come you did not know you did not have date displayed or not. I told him I never had my watch repaired before. Before I gave my watch to him I had even tuned the date. For this job I had to pay him more than two hundred and lost the date wheel which cost $365 on Ebay for replacement. Let all reader determine this client is trustworthy or not. read more

No. It took us seven months to get our two antique clocks back - one of them was not even touched. They don't have a website (it's a page with a logo on it), they don't have a VM or an email that they check. In the end, after months of radio silence we had to go into the shop in Burnaby three times to extract our clocks. Having paid the ransom for the clocks, all we got was a print out (not an invoice) which didn't even have the tax on it (we worked it out ourselves). We asked him to sign the chit saying he had been paid and he said he's not used to all this 'bureaucracy'. Other customer service gems after 7 months: "We can't work miracles" "I've only got two hands" (like his clocks) "7 months is nothing - some people wait much longer" "We are giving you your clock back as a courtesy" They may be good with watch batteries but for a clock repair, don't bother unless you like being 'ghosted' and then brushed off for having the temerity to enquire about the status of your own clocks. Do not hand over your clocks to this business - dealing with them is a full-time job. read more

Very professional and honest service. You don't find such a valuable trade those days anymore . I had my Omega Seamaster cleaned and lubricated and Andrew wanted to keep it 2 extra days for testing before I got it back . Went to this place expecting to adjust my watch easily, but ended up confused . Walked in and told the guy I wanted my watch adjusted, he grabbed it from me and didn't even ask how much I wanted off. After 5 mins of tinkering, he comes back annoyed saying it was too difficult and that my watch broke one of his tools. I left and went to another watch place that adjusted it easily under 10 mins. I have had a cuckoo clock their for repair for over 8 months already and every time I phone to find out if it has been fixed I get yes we should have it ready next week. Took my watch to the Bay to have the battery fixed; they told me I needed to replace the movement for $200. Went for a second opinion after a year, Time Center Watch repair took it to the back for 5 minutes, and came back with a working watch. They said there were fingerprints all over the inside. The battery replacement was about half of what the Bay was charging me. I had another watch fixed, the side turn thing had come off and he put a new one on; again, the estimate was $150 and he did it for less than the third of that price. Very happy with quality of work and customer service; highly recommend. read more

I went here to get a clock fixed, they told me they were busy, so busy that they would need 3 months to fix it, wow! Ok, so I leave it there... for 3 months. 3 1/2 months later I go to pick up my clock, no phone call from the store or nothing. I go there and before I get two feet in the door I get two different excuses as to why the clock is still not fixed. After a few questions to the owners I realize I'm getting snowed. I ask for my clock back and after looking at it I can see that nobody has even touched it... in 3 1/2 months, Unbelievable! Came back today to pick up the watches I dropped off and was more than satisfied with the service and pricing. Also so very impressed with the professionalism. The way Andrew individually wrapped the watches (All on time BTW) was a great touch, as it means he really cares about honoring and protecting your valuables. This guys is a real jerk... Had my watch for nearly a year promising a simple repair. I dropped by a couple times and he always had some long crazy story... Each time I would drop by to check on my watch, He would always tell me some long drawn out story and at he was going to fix it and that he'd call me in a couple weeks, but never did.
