Decent place to get food if you're in the center of Lisbon. Located in Cais do Sodre, this is a tourist trap for sure. The food options are vast but if you're looking for authentic Portuguese food that isn't overpriced, this isn't the spot for you. Unfortunately we decided to stop here and learned very quickly how overpriced and overcrowded this place is. I was quite disappointed with my food choice. Lesson learned! Buyer beware!

A nice food hall for people who want to eat different things. There's so many options from seafood to pizza to Asian food to Mexican food. There are to 2 bars located on both ends of the market and so much seating available. There are so many dessert places as well. Definitely something available for everyone. Some of the food we got was good and some was just alright. There was nothing super exceptional to me. Pricing is pretty average I would say. There are people walking by cleaning up as well, which is super nice. Nice spot to check out, but I'm sure you'd find better food elsewhere.

This was an overwhelming, crowded and fun spot to visit. I had dinner reservations to see fado later in the evening so I only ordered a donut. But there are so many options to order a meal or beverage, lots of seating and great people watching.

Ever since it opened in 2014, the market has been a popular place for visitors. It has 26 restaurants, 8 bars, and a dozen shops. It was quite busy, but we were able to find a place to sit- communal tables. We checked out two places. The first was Miguel Castro e Silva for the bacalhau à brás. Then for dessert we had the pastel de natas at Manteigaria. Overall, we had a nice time here.

Great place to come and try and see so many different kinds of food. The only reason why I dropped it a star was because you see so many tiny flies flying around which makes me worry about the cleanliness. Love the vibe though even though it's really noisy and you can't talk to your friends. I had the roast suckling pig from Henrique Sa Pessoa and it was so tender with a nice crisp skin 5/5! Friend had the octopus on mashed potatoes and a slice of cod from Joao Sa. The octopus was so tender but the cod was a bit salty. octopus 5/5. cod 3/5. Hubs had daily special of bream, black orzo and fennel from Joao Sa. I wasn't impressed with to the bream. Would give it a 3/5. The sangria tho had a punch! Time out market is definitely a foodie destination to try the best of the best in one place! Definitely worth a stop for you yelp foodies! So worth it!

My family absolutely loved Time Out Market. We went to see the beautiful tile work at the Sao Benito train station and popped into the market since it was raining - perfect find to accommodate everyone's wishes for their last meal in Portugal! My dad and brother were able to grab some typical tripe stew at one stand, I was able to grab delicious mussels and my absolute favorite Brazilian dish - moqueca - at another stand. There were a ton of people due to the rain but we were still able to find seating altogether at the communal tables. It's very clean, there are employees cleaning the tables at all times. And how wonderful is it that you can try food from 1-star and 2-star Michelin chefs at different food stalls?! All for incredibly reasonable prices! If we had more time, I would have come back and tried several different stalls. Definitely a great option for groups of people!

Awesome place for our group of 11. By sheer luck we found seating for 9 and everyone was happy with the variety of places to eat. Huge sitting area, but fills up on weekends so go with and grab any available seats. A bit on the pricey side, but we enjoyed the experience.

It's like a hawker market but in Portugal! I enjoyed the variety that they had to offer here but everything I tried here was good but not memorable and quite expensive for what they were. Service is also no frill and kind of slow...they have a good selection of food options and cuisines here but definitely feels touristy.

Very very crowded! It was easy to get a seat as long as you keep an eye out. Most food stalls have some sort of lines and they'll give you a buzzer that lets you know when your food is ready. I ordered sushi and it took about 20min which was fine since we walked around looking at other food. My BF ordered a pizza and it was pretty good! It's thin crust which is what we prefer and took 10-15 min.

A food hall that serves alcohol, perfect. Upon walking in for the first time, it's pretty overwhelming. Ppl talking and meeting, music overhead. I seriously did not know where to start. You have so many food options from apps only, entrees only, dessert only or all of it on one spot. Prices were on a little higher you get a buzzer to come and get it when it's ready. Food quality good and fresh and all are made to order. We ordered 2 entrees, sangria, coquettes and of courses, cured ham. We were stuff leaving as we did not walk to waste take it back to the hotel. A great spot for locals and visitors too. Alcohol in one form or another is also sold at some of the stalls. Plenty of chairs to sit and there are so many communal tables and enjoy your food you ordered. Love the vibe there. Will be back.

Stopped in during our trip and came closer to the end of the night so some businesses were already closed inside and almost all outside of the main hall were closed. They do have a wide variety of food vendors to choose from which is fun! Lots of ample seating and pricing is so/so being a major tourist attraction.

Great spot to check out with a group to grab different dishes to sample and share. Also great option for solo travelers if you are looking for a variety of options in one place.

On left are sardines in olive oil and the right are sardines in tomato. Both were delicious.

Go hungry! There are so many things to try there , from pastry to sardines. My travel companion and I started with dessert, Ginginha and a pastel de nata. That became a thing for us. After perusing the gift shop, and checking out every one of the many options, we decided on the sardines. I ordered in my bad Portuguese and the purveyor chuckled and said he spoke English. So many people there did, so ordering was easy. I bought some truffle candies for friends we were staying with and my companion got to try some fresh oysters. Unfortunately I was not hungry enough to try more of the seafood, but will go back on my next trip to Portugal. It's a lively and fun place.

Café de Sao Bento steak...dip those fries! Go on!

It was from "Alexandre Silva" and I had to wait quite long until I got my food but it was totally worth it.

Feira da Ladra might not be the reason to go to Lisbon but if you're a flea market fan wondering…read morewhat treasures can be unearthed in that environment halfway across the world, this would be a great starting point. Occurring on Tuesdays and Saturdays, this open air flea market or, "thieve's market" (the literal translation), stretches from the bottom of one hill to the top, both sides of the street, with what's easily over a hundred vendors. I'd heard that bargaining isn't welcomed here and didn't try but even though I loved looking at everything, only a couple of things interested me enough to inquire about price. In the end, I tired of looking at everything before I ran out of everything to be looked at, but didn't come away empty-handed. A small art print was my prized-possession as well as a belief that everyone serious about vintage finds should make time for this during time spent in Lisbon.

We loved this flea market and spent a good amount of time walking around here. Several locals told…read moreus about it and I was thrilled that we were here on a Saturday and could go. There were tons and tons of vendors with all sorts of things at great prices for several city blocks with roads blocked off for pedestrians making it easy to shop. There was a nice mix of antiques and ceramics and old and new. I got a few small keepsakes as well as some totes and clothing for my daughter at fair prices. Definitely worth the visit. Plus, we walked through the charming Alfama and did additional shopping and snacking along the way. Several really cute breakfast spots can be found here.
