So, when Pete Davis of Davis Voice & Data contacted us with an offer of higher speed internet service using line of sight radio signal for a price less than what we had been paying, and, having purchased a security system from them in the past, we had no hesitancy in signing up with them. The installation technicians arrived in a timely fashion and completed their work promptly and professionally. Our internet speed was greatly improved, as promised. But, there was a problem . . . . . . Because it is sometimes necessary for me to work from home, I use a VPN to connect to my work network server. This VPN arrangement worked great with our current internet service but we were unable to get it to connect to the Max WiFi/David Voice & Data service. It was frustrating to have access to a higher speed internet service but not be able to use it in the manner that my work required. To their credit, Pete and Corey from Davis Voice & Data didn't give up in coming up with a satisfactory installation. They made another visit to our residence and also spent a great deal of time on the phone with our VPN provider to come up with a solution. Finally, after a week of work and perseverance, they were successful in solving the problem. The VPN, now connected to the Max WiFi/Davis Voice & Data internet service, is fully functional. The true nature of a person or a company is revealed in their reaction when things don't go as planned and problems arise. Davis Voice and Data didn't cut and run. They stayed at it until they found a solution to our problem. Their persistence is to be commended and recommended. Based on our experience, they are a company that can be trusted to do the right thing.

I was told I would have a quote within a few days, I followed up with them several times and they never responded. At that time I had several projects going on and with that project now delayed gave up on them and found someone else for the job. Recently I began working on a new much larger project with the PA and found them online, it had been a while and I wasn't sure if they were the same company That ghosted me before. I contacted them and asked if they would be interested in the work. They seemed to be and came out within a day or so to walk the site. At that time I recognized the guy who came out but I still wasn't 100% if they were the same guys and focusing on the task at hand didn't say anything. I showed them what I was wanting to do and they agreed they would be interested in doing the job and promised a quote within a few days. A few unanswered emails and several weeks later here we are. I confirmed in my archived emails that was the same company who has twice ghosted me now. I deal with many contractors, hence my trouble remembering them, and I find that very unprofessional and a total waste of my time. If you are no longer interested in doing the job at least have the courtesy to email me and let me know so I can move on to someone else instead of pointlessly waiting for someone to contact me back. I definitely won't contact them ever again and would not recommend them to anyone.

They could email…read morea application , but I don't have a printer so if I want service with them I will have to drive to Port Clinton Monday Thu Friday 8-5 to fill out paperwork. Their monthly price is lower than the cable company since I don't need fast internet for just myself I thought I would give it a try. Don't know if it's worth driving up and back same day just to fill out paperwork.
