I had an amazing experience getting permanent lower eye liner. Robin greeted me with a smile, was courteous, professional, extremely sanitary and walked me through the process step by step as she was doing it. She is very concerned and concientous about her customers pain level. I first went to Robin at Timeless Artistry for top and bottom lid permanent eyeliner. I was totally happy with what she did, as she listened to what I wanted as far as how thick etc. There are 2 really important factors when it comes to permanent makeup...take care of your new makeup, and go for your touch-up! I did both, and when I went back for the touch up on my eyeliner I decided to have Robin do my eyebrows as well. I love the shape she gave me; I haven't had an eyebrow shape or any definition to my brows my whole life, so getting eyebrows was a huge step for me! I took care of my eyebrows too, not picking or messing with them as lots of people do, and keeping the ointment on them as she recommends. I got my eyebrows touched up and just love the work she does. She's professional, pleasant, compassionate, and a really great human being! I really just wanted something basic so I didn't have to try to draw my eyeliner on anymore as I have a medical condition which can cause me to have vision issues and uncoordinated hand movements etc. I now have beautiful classy looking eyeliner and gorgeous eyebrows! Typically when I go anywhere I have a few things that I look for in order to make a decision on whether they will be gaining my business. So aside from me walking into the wrong building, my first impression of the building was great. It's handicap accessible, which is a huge plus for me. As soon as I walked in I was happily greeted by Robin and Kira. We sat down and discussed what eyebrow shape and color I wanted as I filled out the necessary paperwork for my procedure. Kira was my artist and as we discussed my dream eyebrows she meticulously free handed my desired shape with an eyebrow pencil. Making sure to show me as she went, allowing me as much time as I needed to make changes to ensure the shape was just right. Once we had the shape perfected she then cleaned my brows up by tweezing the excess hair. She took her time and shaped/cleaned them up wonderfully. Kira is a perfectionist so when it comes to her work, especially on brows, you can expect to get exactly what you ask for from her. As we went into the room to start the tattoo it was extremely clean and a very comfortable environment. She numbed my eyebrows so that during the process I felt no pain what so ever. Kira continued to check on me as she progressed with the tattooing explaining the process as she went. Once she started the tattoo and the skin was broken she re-numbed me with something stronger that ensured I was in no pain. After everything was complete she showed me my brows to make sure everything was just as I had asked, and they were PERFECT. Afterwards I was told how to care for them and was given a care sheet with the information as well as a packet of A&D ointment for aftercare. I stayed numb for about an hour or so after the procedure and even then the pain was minimal. Now that I'm healed I'm enjoying the ease of waking up with brows. I LOVE Robin!!!!! I can't say enough about how amazingly sweet she was the WHOLE procedure. She number me! And was very very concerned about what pain level I was at throughout the whole procedure. So I was looking for a place to get my eyebrows done, and ended up calling three separate places. Robin was the only person who actually called back and scheduled a consultation for me the very next day. Ironically, the two other tattoo places were the ones who told me "your call is very important to us" on their voicemail recordings. Beautiful. So I went down, and less than a week later, my eyebrows are done. This mother-daughter duo is absolutely amazing. They always ask for your opinion, all the while providing their personal suggestions. So if you're a slight pushover like me, you have many chances to speak up and make any changes. Both of them are down to earth and friendly, yet maintain professionalism & cleanness. Kira is such a nice person to work with, if you feel like she missed a tiny spot, she happily traces over it until you're satisfied. They don't get annoyed or defensive, unlike many people tend to be when you question them or their work. I'm quite glad I went with them, I was super skeptical and nervous before the procedure, but they move at the pace you are comfortable with. Just keep in mind that cosmetic tattoos are all technically semi-permanent. Like regular tattoos, they require touchups and some maintenance. I'm not sure why they are deemed as pricey on here, because if you do your research, they're at the lower end of the scale for permanent cosmetics. Yes, it costs extra for touchups, but the initial + touchup still doesn't exceed the lowest average price to get them done. I signed up yelp account to write a review for Robin. I got a permanent eyeliners by Robin on September and I didn't like them at all at first. I was so disappointed and regreted it. It's because it's permanent on my face, not like hairstylist messed up my hair and it will grow back. I was scared to go back to her for the touch up. Robin and I talked a lot and I read other's reviews and decided to go back to her for the touch up. And she did a great job. There were some discoloration, and bumpy from losing the pigment as it heals but I bet Robin can fix it easy if I ask her. What an amazing experience!!! Robin and Kira greeted me so pleasantly even though I was running late. I got the powder fill brows and I could not be happier!!! They took their time, even letting me draw my own brows on the way I would at home, then going over and over how important it was to me not to follow my natural brow line because my eyebrows are so uneven. Kira was very patient with me while tattooing, she even let me look in the mirror to make sure I was happy, she listened to my requests and concerns, she never once made me feel like she was like I was annoying her. I got my makeup done over a year ago, and it did not stick. I was their "experiment" for a new ink. The new ink did not stay on. I went 2 times. The first time the owner did the upper eyeliner. I still have a very thin line. I went back to get it thicker, and The bottom as well. Her "assistant" did the work the 2nd time. I now have neither a thicker top, and nothing on the bottom. This is my third time here I got my eyebrows originally done powder tattoo and absolutely loved them and went one time for a touch up Robyn and Kira are amazing ! I would not go anywhere else! All I can say is don't even consider going somewhere else! I drove an hour to come to this business because of their reputation, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. I had permanent eyeliner upper and lower. I was so at ease from the moment I walked through the door until I saw the final result. They asked me to bring some examples of what I was looking for and they really took the time to listen to me before they even began. The procedure itself was much more comfortable than I expected. I am in the medical profession and thought the detail to infection control and post care instructions were top notch. I have already sent my pictures out to my friends, and two of them will be coming here for work soon. After I get used to my new eyeliner, I think I am going to be going back for their 3-D eyebrow work, as looking through their portfolio the results are so natural.
