My English is not very good, so my daughter writes this for me. Ilya never responded to my email. I also gave him my phone number. I have severe neck and back pain after my car was rear-ended by another driver on the highway. Adding to this there is a great deal of stress in my home. My husband is an alcoholic. It weighs heavily on the whole family. My daughter just turned 18. She has been diagnosed with scleroderma. One side of her face has been hardening and becoming more and more hollow. This is a serious autoimmune disease. She was preparing to attend the San Francisco Art Institute. She was modeling to help pay for the tuition. But this is so difficult now. Ilya gave the best massage I've ever had. I like hard pressure. He seemed to know. His knowledge of healing is deeper than other practitioners I've experienced. Out of all the modalities I've tried (Thai, Rolfing, Shiatsu), I didn't know I liked Tui Na and Chi Nei Tsang (stomach massage) the most until I had a massage from Ilya. I asked how to alleviate my swayback so I can dance and do martial arts easier. He generously suggested an easy, assisted yoga-like position I can do at home. Then I went on a limb and asked for acupressure points to develop my intuition. He walked me through points and breathing techniques I could do on my own. I am a 67-yr-old woman with a history of failed back surgeries dating back to the age of 14. I had been seeing Ilya for quite a number of years for temporary relief of muscle spasms, etc. I felt that the connection between us was warm and that he provided a safe environment. So, yes, I would say there is a healing aspect among Ilya's personality traits. It would be a misnomer, however, to consider him an intuitive energy healer. I am innately empathetic myself and I have witnessed too much darkness emanate from his psyche due to his inability to sit back and see things as they really are to trust his intuition about anything. He is dangerously quick to assume the roles of judge, jury and executioner--even in situations where he is sorely lacking in true information. This happened with me when I made the fatal error of assuming the role of "matchmaker" between him and a young woman I have known since the day she was born. (She is now married.) Ilya's conduct has been astonishingly vindictive--lashing out and converting pain into anger and seeking revenge by taking that pain out on others. I recently underwent spinal nerve decompression surgery and he refused to provide me with a referral to replace him in the postoperative bodywork he had promised me. He also refused to respond to a friend of mine, whom he has never met, when she contacted him about a complex pain pattern she has been suffering from subsequent to a major car accident. A vindictive person has misguided pain and Ilya doesn't have the necessary strength inside to find better ways to handle his feelings. "Physician, heal thyself" has never been a more apropos proverb. read more

I am really grateful that I found Ilya. I was visiting SF in business and after arrival I got sick. My stomach was not working right and I somehow I got cold as well.
