When booking online, the system prompts you to enter your card information immediately after selecting an appointment. Typically, this step indicates that a deposit will be processed, but that wasn't clearly communicated at the time of booking. When a team member later called to confirm my appointment, I mentioned that I had already entered my card information during the booking process. There was no follow-up from the team to clarify whether the deposit had been received, and since no additional communication was sent, I reasonably assumed everything was confirmed. However, I received a text message at 5:40 p.m. on 10/10/25 -- about 20 minutes before closing -- stating that my appointment scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on 10/11/25 had been canceled. I immediately called and texted but didn't receive a response until the next morning when the business reopened, at which point the appointment was already canceled. Given that appointments here are often booked weeks, if not months, in advance, it's extremely difficult to pivot or make alternate arrangements on such short notice. The lack of follow-up and the last-minute cancellation were disappointing, especially considering the time and planning it takes to secure a spot. I'm sharing this feedback constructively, as I understand things happen, but clearer communication and more proactive customer service would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.

When she was done her coworker informed her she had another tour. She pouted because she said she had a sore throat. They paged a male employee. Are several minutes he came in from out front. They told him they needed him to do a tour. He made an exasperated noise and said he didn't want to. I stepped up and said since our business wasn't a priority, we would take it elsewhere. If they couldn't be bothered to give us a tour that they invited us to take, how would they treat our dogs. We could not believe we were treated so poorly.

She provide me a free vet exam. I ended up wanting the 8 month old boy who was so friendly. I didn't know much about Maltese but they are absolutely lovable. Maltese like all dogs raised and trained well are so affectionate. I received a package of everything I needed to start of with. Most importantly, after my military discount, the free package of necessities, and the same day appointment, I had the breeder come out to show me how to keep my little boy as bright white and clean as when I received him. Each of the dogs I saw were bright white, well groomed, I reviewed the AKC, CKC purebred pedigree registrations, all vaccination and vet records were in order, I even asked about the cray to prove each Maltese had four to five puppies a litter. OMG, my breeder had everything available. Most of all, she when to college for and works in the veterina field. I was impressed. Also, I confirmed the champion sired dog and the champion bloodline. Very disappointed with the care my dog, Scotty received during the stay from July 3-July 11, 2026…read more I chose this business because I expected my Scotty to be safe, comfortable and well cared for. I completed all necessary questions, completion of documents, physicals, etc. prior to admittance. I explained the care my that was needed, and I was assured that he was in good hands. Unfortunately, upon departure, Scotty was given to me in my arms rather than placing him on the floor I noticed unusual behavior and poor hygiene. Upon arrival at home I placed him in grass to potty and he could barely stand. I picked him up and took him inside and begin to wipe him off and I noticed that his front paw pads were damaged. It was obvious that an injury was sustained. I attempted to communicate by calling and emailing this company. I was able to raise my concerns with the staff. Eventually the owner, Laura responded to my email. She admitted that she meant to communicate with me before my departure, but I had already left. I could have been contacted when the injury was observed. They did not notify me of any issues and I called three times while on vacation. I never received any report cards on a daily basis as mentioned on the website. Laura also implied that it was my fault as owners are not aware that concrete can burn off the paw pads. I do not walk my dog on hot concrete. Cozy Canine places dogs in outside kennels with rocks. It was a concern of mines and I asked about the hot rocks. I was told that they monitor all pets and only keep them out for a short while when it is hot outside. I took my dog to the vet and the vet said that it looked like his paw pads had been pulled off. The paw pad was badly infected and was treated. We went back to the vet twice and the paw was not healing. This impacted Scotty because he was suffering. I could not see him continue to suffer. I had to have him euthanized. It has also affected my family and I because he was part of our family for 17 years and we loved him. It was his one month anniversary of his death on 8/21/2026. I am sharing this review so other pet owners can make an informed decision. I hope the facility addresses these issues and improves the quality of care for the animals entrusted to them. I have raised my concerns with the owner, but no resolution offered.

Others: He still has energy and he is ready to go home. CCC: He doesn't stink and loves the same as when I dropped him off. Others: Smells like urine and needs a bath as soon as we get home. CCC: He has not gotten sick once since coming here. Others: Got kennel cough and a few other illnesses. CCC: He loves the staff Others: He loved 50% of them.
