Our daughter was getting married and we needed a suitable Mother of the Bride dress for this special day but we wanted it to be usable for other events like special dinners, a show, or another wedding for our children one day. So in searching for alteration businesses, we landed on this one. Let me start out that Trish has not only a business approach to the project, but her expectations are clear when it comes to your level of patience to get the job done right. Lucky for us... we had a window of three weeks before it was needed. Don't expect a miracle in a day or two - it's not going to happen and you don't want her creative abilities rushed. This dress needed some love - even though it was amazing on its own, but fitting it properly and altering it to make it special was the ultimate goal. Trish does two fittings. The first to visualize what you have and allowing her to pin, tuck, etc to make it work for what you need. The second fitting is to be sure it's right before it's finalized or if it's final then and there. The end result was STUNNING!!!!! That's all I can say. She put an old-school flare that has transformed this dress into a work of art; not just a dress for a one time occasion! I can't thank the universe enough for allowing her to find me when I put out the project signal flare out and she responded. I called Trish and she was willing to do the work. When I dropped it off, she asked all the appropriate questions to be sure she understood what I wanted and it turned out perfectly. The quality of her work is excellent. She was professional and and easy to work with. And the best part...she came in under budget and a week ahead of schedule! I had an absolutely amazing experience with Trish! I usually never make the time to review on Yelp but I feel obligated to share the wonderful service she provided so that everyone knows where to go for a tailor. I called asking if I could hire her services to make a haori out of some cloth I had as an anniversary gift to my boyfriend. I was greeted with such polite and professional enthusiasm. I met with her the next day and we discussed measurements and details of the haori. Trish was extremely detail oriented and knew all the questions and specifications to ask about that I hadn't even thought of. Her usual turnaround is two weeks and she was able to work with my budget. The final product was incredible! The finished haori looked exactly like the one from the anime I was basing it off of and Trish even double padded the pockets so they were more sturdy. She didn't even have any measurements of my boyfriend and was able to create something that fit him perfectly from my description. It was expertly crafted and sewn down to the last thread. I brought my boyfriend in to her shop (he had know idea where he was or what to expect) and he gasped with surprise and happiness. It seemed like he didn't take it off the whole week and was lounging about the house in it haha. Trish has been practicing tailoring and costume making for years! She was super friendly and happy to help. I am so glad I found her for all my future costume-making and tailoring needs. read more

I had a odd request.... a ballon that is actually a light used for illuminating large areas like construction sites. Not only did she do a great repair, she was very nice, good at her craft and she did it that day for me.
