Got charged nearly $70 to have a watch bracelet resized. Most places do it for free or under $10. $70 is absolute thievery for 5 minutes of work. I doubt they would have charged that much if I had brought in a Timex, but it was a higher end watch. Do not go here. Dishonest and greedy. read more

Took my ring for repair. They claim it broke. They never called me to say it broke. They rebuilt to satisfy me. I was told after the math. They asked me I could walk away without paying..... My ring didn't look the same, and sadly I did not wear my glasses at the time. I wanted to remain polite and I paid for the resizing. When I went home I realized they chipped the stone on my ring. If you are not professional do not touch peoples valuable. Good manners and being supper polite does not cut it, when you destroy someone's ring. I will not bother going back, to say what. The ring is damaged anyway. I wouldn't ask you to stay away, I just had a very bad experience, and I will never go back. read more

I went in to have a battery replaced but walked out with a new favourite watch shop. The selection is decent but its the service that really sets this business apart. The owner is passionate about watches and his product knowledge is a pleasant change from many similar retailers I've visited around the Lower Mainland. Great selection watch shop, and very good family run feel.. I'd had been looking everywhere from online to local and not so local shops for a few different brands mainly Tissot. I ran across Time Masters tucked into a little corner in the Seven Oaks Mall. I found the whole family very helpful and very knowledgeable, amazing selection on the Tissot Brand and a better than average pricing. Lifetime batteries, friendly, knowledgeable, great selection and good pricing - I couldn't ask for more - I walked out with my X-mas gift very happy and it even got wrapped for under the tree. I went to Time Master to have the battery changed in my watch. The last time I went to Time Master the service was amazing and the prices were very reasonable. This time the price was almost triple what it was last time. When I questioned them, the guy told me he was the new owner and that was his price. He was arrogant, cocky and very rude. This store has gone from a five star to a zero star with a change of ownership. In the past I have been to the store many times. I will not be back again. I don't need to go to the store where I am treated this way. There are lots of good business is out there, and this isn't one of them. My advice: Don't shop here. Find a store where you are treated with respect, as a valued customer. read more

If you are looking to have your jewelry back on time or in the timeframe they give you I would suggest a different store. I brought my watch in for a battery and a cleaning. The clerk said it would take 2 hours because of the size of the watch, which was fine. They did not finish within the 2 hours and I had to leave to pick it up the next day. The store was not overly busy. They need to be better with time quotes if they're going to call themselves "Time Masters". read more

Needed a new battery for our thermometer to keep track of the fever of a very sick person in our family. The lady told me to leave the thermometer and then they would replace the battery and I could pick it up the next day. When I told her that I only needed the battery she said they don't sell batteries, only the overnight-service, which would be $16.00 + tax. I said that I'd replace the battery myself, but she wouldn't budge. Then I told her that we needed this urgently to monitor the fever of a family member and she finally agreed to sell me a battery for $16.00 + tax. I said I didn't want to buy the over-night replacement service, just the battery, but no luck. So I left and said I'll look elsewhere first. I finally found my battery at the Superstore for $4.77 + tax. Time Master Jewellers would have charged me *over 200% more!* I don't think I'll go there again, and I'm certainly never going to buy any watch or jewelry at a store where I feel that they are taking advantage of me. But here is a bit of free advice to the storeowner on how to do good business and win customers. Not too long ago I needed a tire rotation on my car so I brought it to Curtis Tire & Wheel. They swapped my tires immediately and I paid much less than at other places! Well guess where I am going to buy my next new set of tires. For Time Master Jewellers I am not expecting a free battery but I do expect them to accommodate me as a customer and not try to milk me for everything I've got. I would then be inclined to also come back for larger items. read more

I haven't said to many people about what I do and how my watches get fixed after they burnt but I told my pops to gimme a call when he knows where to go get his watch again because before I was born he says sayed that he had watched it too many times and the tickers died inside of the gears so each time I said "What time"? he cried. read more

Always in there getting my watch collections batteries done! Very professional and courteous, and fast repair done right! I've tried the cheaper and more convenient routes and trust me it's not worth it. To pay a few bucks more and have it done by a pro is a no-brainer. Won't go elsewhere read more

Both my husband & I are watch enthusiasts. We have shopped at some of the finest stores in North America but none compare to Time Masters upstairs at Seven Oaks Mall having been customers for over 15 years. We found their pricing to be better than any other stores or online. The husband & wife team treat you like family. After my second visit they knew me by name. Recently I was shopping for a diamond watch. She has spent a lot of time with me in person & calling their supplier & Switzerland. I looked at a lot of other stores in Vancouver for varieties of makes & models knowing Time Masters would order in my final choice. Finally decided on two: a Longines & a Rado. Time Masters had both in stock which goes to prove they have incredible purchasing skill. Many years ago I was so impressed when he was able to rebuild a spring in my antique Rolex so it would work again & it still does!! Being a watchmaker by trade he can do repairs other stores can not. He will take the time to explain in detail any feature on a watch you are unsure of. They also sell a wide variety of jewelry with a most impressive showcase of high end, hand crafted pieces no chain store can match. If we did not live close to Time Masters we would drive a long distance to them. read more
