Went into the store to have a battery replaced in my watch. ask politely if they could help me, was told "I'M TO BUSY AND SHE IS ON LUNCH". The older lady helped me get the back off so I could fix it myself. Your establishment just lost any future sales to me or anyone else I talk to. Wow! Very appreciative of my experience with Chad! Such a silly story that would be hard to explain- but ultimately Chad had patience and understanding and was very educational with sizing and soldering. He was ultimately very gracious with how he charged for the amount of work and time spent on my rings! Resulting in the most beautiful hand designed ring and bands! this guy is a tool, just because I'm brown and asking for a refund and still wanting to give them business and saying that we spent way to much money we shouldn't be spending and then treats me like absolute trash. Just to have another customer walk in and be happy as fuck because he has a Rolex. gets super pissy because he asks me why type of chain im looking for and when I reply with 2 different kind he's like those are 2 different kinds of styles and then questions me. like who are you. he gets something smaller then what I originally asked just for me to tell him the same one I pointed at and then tell me "oh so the exact same one that broke on you?" like yes because that's what the customer wants. read more

MADE MY DREAM RING! I would give him zero stars if it was an option. I've posted this review before. Interesting how it keeps disappearing. I'm sure this one will disappear too. Be forewarned. Do not take your jewelry here for any kind of repair. Very poor repair was done to my wedding ring. Shank was still bent was super thin after repair. I paid him $650 for the repair. I complained to a friend about the poor quality of the repair. She asked me where I had taken it and then told me to never take anything to him. I have since discovered a jeweler in Bellingham, Neeters. I asked him to look at the repair. I was told there were some prongs missing and the shank was bend and that it was too thin at the bottom of the shank. I left it with him for another repair. I paid another $650. When I got the ring back it was beautiful!!!! I finally have my ring back in beautiful condition!!! read more

This review is on behalf of a friend who had her stone set here recently. She brought her ring and diamond to be set because it was close-by, but will not return in the future. The setting fee was double what I would have paid at Sofie's Gold Mine in Bellingham. She said the whole experience was not good and he was kind of a jerk. Lacking customer service skills. Definitely won't be back. Turns out, the stone was set crookedly and took a week to set a simple solitaire - no resizing or anything else required! I have had many diamonds set in the past and never has it taken more than a day - two at the most if there is a huge backlog. I think this place is just slow, or takes their own sweet time. My friend even had an appointment before walking in and it took that long! read more

Went to get my ring repaired after an accident. The ring was returned to me completely uncleaned (soldering marks still present all over), completely bent, and with a chipped diamond. He also replaced two diamonds that had fallen out with two diamonds that didn't fit in my setting or match the other diamonds on the band. When questioned about this he said I should be happy because these diamonds were better quality and what he has in stock... But they don't fit inside the setting what so ever. My husband picked the ring up quickly on his way back to work and didn't notice immediately. We will inquire about getting our money back and going elsewhere. I'm just super sad about this because we went to a local jeweler after waiting months for the jewelry store we bought it from to repopen because of COVID. My husband tried to surprise me by getting the ring fixed for our anniversary (as our regular jeweler still wasn't taking repairs) and I received a ring that was still badly damaged after spending $$$ to get it fixed. Now I will need to send it back out to be fixed again. Very sad and disappointed. read more

I was very disappointed with my recent attempt to have my grandmother's wedding ring repaired/resized. It was handed down to me by my parents on my birthday, but had a broken band. I brought it in to Chad's on a Friday, and the "promised completion date" he gave me was one week later. At the time, he didn't write down the estimated current value, or give an estimate of final cost. I called on that next Friday to make sure it was ready, and he casually told me that he had not started working on it yet. When I asked if he had a total yet, he hesitated and then gave me an amount close to $500.00. I told him that this was more costly than I was expecting, and his reply was that it was "a good thing he hadn't started on it yet, then." The entire encounter was very unprofessional, rude, and bad customer care. I had him stop all work, and I picked it up to bring to a different shop. read more
