Needless to say I was not happy, nothing was ever done about it no refund and I certainly wasnt going to ship it back, I did tell them and left a review I had purchased other pieces from them on past trips and didn't have any issues but this one really was upsetting , so I decided now that I have spent 750.00 purchase price plus the price for it to be messed up on this ring and its now damaged. Fast forward to this past week I took it to and they dipped it, checked the diamonds and the center stone and replaced the missing one for 175.00 as much as I hated having to spend more $$ to have the ring that I didn't mess up fixed they insure their work and I am so very happy with what I picked up today which is what I was expecting from Wellington and didn't get. As you can see in the photo its exactly how it should have been from Wellington but wasn't. Just wanted to share my experience and provide an update I am so happy now I finally have my ring back just wish I didn't have to go through all the trouble to get it back like it should be.

I was told to wait about 30 minutes, which was fine. When I returned, the watch appeared to be working, and I paid $32.71. The attendant even suggested I take a photo of the receipt because it might fade--but I trusted the service and didn't think I'd need it. Within about an hour, the watch stopped working completely. I went back immediately. This is where things went downhill. The owner was present and, before even inspecting the watch, immediately said the problem was likely the watch itself--not the battery they had just replaced. That made no sense, especially since the watch had been working perfectly beforehand, and I've replaced its battery multiple times over the past 15+ years without any issues. When I calmly pointed this out, the owner became rude, dismissive, and confrontational. He insulted me and even threatened to have me escorted out of the mall. I asked for a refund and my watch back. He refused to refund me and kept blaming me for the issue, offering no real explanation or solution. This was not just poor service--it was unprofessional and disrespectful. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for even a simple battery replacement.

Sent back then received a call from Mr Sutton questioning how I might have damaged. Stated I would be "credited" for the repair "this time". Within a week of having the piece back, same issue. I put it away until I could have it evaluated by a professional third party. The third party evaluated and studied craftsmanship and the design will NEVER hold up for wear. The third party looked at it under a microscope for signs of damage. None present!If I want to wear it, I now will pay to have it designed properly. Mr Sutton felt it necessary to question me about my behaviors and potentially damaging the product and lets his courteous employees cover for his unsavory tactics. His products are beautiful, but don't expect him to be respectful if there is a product issue. Exercise caution and know what you might have to deal with if you purchase here.
