He was very rude to me and all I said was I couldn't keep my mouth open for 45 minutes and said I was disrespectful and said that babies do it and said you just need to go to uab and my dentist talked with him after that about doing it with laughing gas and he said no and that he was done with me he is a complete jerk read more

Dr. Kerper and his team were wonderful. Definitely worth the drive from Carrollton. Made a root canal very quick and painless.

I give very few 5 stars. I have to tell you this. You will not find better endodontic care! I will now drive 45-50 minutes from Birmingham without a thought for the quality of care received from Dr. Kerper. I have had three root canals now. I had two in Birmingham and both from different highly recommended endodonest. Each trip was awful. If I ever need another root canal, I will drive to Anniston to see Dr. Kerper. His office is new, doesn't even have the feel of a doctors office and has the latest equipment making your time spent a minimal as possible. I never felt any pain. I didn't even know that was possible. The staff is friendly and it's apparent that they treat you like they really care about the quality of care they give. Did I mention, that the money you save from Birmingham or Atlanta will certainly more than pay for gas. I saved nearly $300.00 from the prices given in Birmingham on my last trip. Dr Kerper is one of the most compassionate medical professionals I have ever encountered (and I worked in the medical field). He is reassuring and gentle (important in dentistry, when some patients (like myself!) are apprehensive); he is very knowledgeable; his equipment is up-to-date; his office is comfortable (there was a television with all the channels in the ceiling to take my mind off the procedure, and I was given headphones and a remote!); his staff is kind and friendly. I was called back to a room at my appointment time, and did not have to wait long to see Dr Kerper. He took his time with me and answered all my questions. He makes himself available to his patients, even providing his cell-phone number. I have had two root canals by Dr Kerper (and am scheduled for another), and he has made what is considered an unpleasant situation somehow, well, as pleasant an experience as it could possibly be. Super grateful! I like my regular dentist, but I would never go anywhere else for a root canal. Dr Kerper is the best! read more

I have felt at times that I left excellent, easy to find dental care in California when I checked my bags in at the airport to move to Georgia. I have had bad to worse dental care irregardless of the office address, training, and prices. I questioned my latest dentist repeatedly over 18 months regarding the color change of my three bottom front teeth and got very silly answers, the worst of which began with, "At your age..." Which you should never say to a woman my age. Finally much, much too late I found that my customized bite guard had done irreparable damage to the teeth and to quote Dr. McCoy, "They're dead Jim!" And you now need three root canals. To say that I was upset would be an understatement. Dr. Kerper was highly recommended by my new orthodontist and even though I live in Georgia I made the trek to Anniston, AL. Everything that Joe L. said in his review from 5/20/13 is spot on except I would fly cross county if I ever had the bad luck to need another root canal. I would fly my kids from the West Coast if they ever had the bad luck to need a root canal. I would fly, well, you get the gist. He is that good, as is his staff, his office, and his chair side manner. Dr. Kerper was also able to bleach out about 97% of the discoloration (caused by tiny blood cells in the nerve breaking down and leaking red blood cells. See? Dr. Kerper doesn't just drill and fill, he educates also. I now know more about my teeth then I ever did! ) that made vanity infused, anal retentive perfect-tooth-freak me much, much happier also. So by all means, get on the train, plane, car, or truck and take the pretty little trip to Anniston if you have the misfortune to have a root canal in your future.
