I was on I15 near Nephi and was passing a Van marked Timpanogos Cycles. I was passing along side with my bumper even with the middle of the van when the van turned into the fast lane. I honked as i swerved to the edge of the road. I saw the driver look in the mirror, (he did not look before switching lanes) and saw me on the edge of the road and instead of returning into his lane, he acerated into the fast lane. Had I gotten my video downloaded before it looped I would be posting it for all to see. It does not change the fact that they have a rude/poor driver who is a liability to the company and a danger to others. I did receive a response from one of my texts apologizing for the issue but left doubts that it would be addressed. I raised my feedback to a 3 due to the communication. read more

TLDR: I've had other bike shops make mistakes before, and then meet me with attitude or defensiveness. Timpanogos Cyclery made things right. 100% satisfied with the service. I've bought a few things here before and had minor service done, but I decided to get my bike really taken care of for this season and scheduled the full service package. They texted me to come on down because my bike would be ready for pick up after one last check which should have been done by the time I got there. Unfortuntately the final check wasn't done and my bike was not shifting properly when I picked it up- after paying what I consider quite a lot for full service, including a new shifter cable and housing. Dee noticed my frustration and acknowledged that they had made a mistake by not doing that final check. He heard me out while I explained my concerns about the situation: I was really upset about driving down there and waiting and wasting time, and the overall cost of everything, etc. (important to note I didn't throw attitude or yell or anything like that, and Dee didn't get defensive at all). He just owned the mistake and had the tech (who had a very helpful attitude) continue working on my bike. I asked them to just contact me once they figured out what was wrong. The next day the bike was fixed. A replacement part was used to solve the problem at no charge. The bike is now everything I had hoped it would be. I'm a firm believer that it costs way more money in advertising and promotions to gain new customers than it does in service to retain existing customers. Based on this experience I will continue to use TC for bike parts and service because I have faith that any mistakes that might happen will be dealt with in a fair way. read more

I don't usually leave reviews but I was surprised at how bad my 5 minute first and last time experience here was. I took in a bike to build and the guy helping me ciritized me for buying the wrong frame, was unwilling to help with me measurements and seemed to want to do anything else but help me in that moment. I went there cause my friends and family like going there and working with Dee in particular, but man after talking with a couple guys there including Dee it seemed they couldn't care less. Doesn't mean it will be this way for everyone but it compelled me (someone who literally never leaves reviews) to write one. read more

WOW! I have several bikes but my 14 year old Cervelo has always been my favorite. I decided it was time to do some upgrades and Dee at Timpanogos made some recommendations and Wow! What a difference! SRAM eTaps, carbon wheels, new brakes and wrap! Then Jeremy did a fit for me and we changed the saddle. I really recommend getting fitted. His small adjustments made a huge difference. They were prompt doing the work. Craftsmanship appears very high. The shifters are awesome. Dee and Jeremy took the time to explain what was done and how to maintain it. I recommend these guys. He was very informative and said he could help us assemble the bike when it came. We ordered it and put it together and we've had fun going on rides with the kids. read more

This is the only bike shop to go to! I went to another one in Highland last year and felt like they lifted me upside down and shook my pockets clean of any change left. This shop will make you feel valued. They are honest and very helpful. They are not trying to rip you off. The staff is very knowledgeable. I've been taking my bikes here for the last few months. They always get my bike in and out same day and walk me through the details. Last time I came, there was a mishap with my tire not being tightened. I didn't check and it came off during a ride. I had some minor frame damage. I took it in to see what I could do. Dee fixed the issue and didn't charge me for his work. I recommend taking your bike in for service 10/10. I'm not a huge fan of Specialized Bikes so I'll reframe recommending you buy a bike from them but if you want a Specialized, Dee and Mark are your guys. read more

There are good shops and there are bad shops but this place is a great shop! I'm from SLC but moved to Santa Cruz, CA to further my mountain bike racing career. I came back to the area to ride with some friends and had been having some tire issues. One of those issues dinged a rim. I had another shop fix the ding that did a terrible job! I ended up buying a new tire here and after one ride had an issue with it. I took it in to buy yet another tire and they gave me a full replacement AND replaced it for me - complete with sealant! They also trued up my wheel the other shop screwed up. True top not knowledge and service that definitely deserves a shout out for. read more

I've been coming here for years. It's long overdue that I write a review. All the guys that work here are great. I took in my bike recently and Dee took special attention to my bike. I felt like he was treating my mtn bike the way he would treat his own. He recommended items that needed replacement and gave options for things that may need attention soon. I'm not as tech-minded as these guys so appreciate them "looking under the hood" for me and getting my bike pedaling like its new again. I also bought two bikes for my girls recently. They were great about sizing the bikes appropriately for my girls. read more

I used to like these guys but when they moved into their new building everything became very very expensive so I don't go there very much these days except I need a real specially part they can get those for you but it's prices this way too much we should give a little bit better pricing then I go out there more often. read more
