My son had an appointment for today 1/18/2021. I believe he made the appointment in late October…read more He died 12/15/2020 "waiting to be seen". New patients should be given Emergancy priority. They need immediate help. He was referred to this practice by another doctor who could not see him because he was not a drug user. When I called this morning to let the office know he would not be at his appointment because he died the assistant was rude, snippy and said I'll make that note. No sorry for your loss.

I've been very pleased with the care I've gotten from Dr. Menninger, especially in managing my medication. He was extremely helpful and concerned when I developed tardive dyskinesia (TD) from Abilify, which had been prescribed by my former doctor. It turned out I had been taking it at a high dose for quite a long time, and Dr. Menninger thought I should discontinue it. When I did, the TD symptoms showed up (involuntary mouth and facial movements that were obvious and annoying). He's been very good about working with me and my neurologist in coordinating care as I've been treated for the TD symptoms. Dr. Menninger is cautious and conservative when it comes to medication, which I very much appreciate after my experience with Abilify. I see him regularly, although only every few months, to check in on how things are going with my medications. These are short appointments and somehow there's no co-payment for them with my medical plan, so I certainly like that! During appointments Dr. Menninger takes his notes on his computer as he goes along. It seemed odd, at first, as I wasn't used to that, but now I don't notice it, and being "connected" Dr. Menninger can rapidly find and print out studies and articles on various issues for you while you're sitting in his office, which is very handy. All in all, definitely recommended!

I am writing a new, updated review. I previously wrote that getting in contact was very difficult,…read morewhich delayed my prescriptions. I had expressed this to the staff and my psychiatrist at one point, who told me that they were very short-staffed. It did improve greatly after a bit of time. The medication staff is very polite, responsive, and helpful. I currently have a prescription that insurance is refusing to pay for that they had been covering for almost 2 years; the staff was quick to send in PA. When insurance was still denying the claim, they filed the appeal before I even had to ask. I take the highest dose of this medication that costs $8000 a month without insurance. I became worried about coming completely off them for this reason, and they left me samples at the front desk on two occasions. I am still dealing with this situation, but they have helped make it a little less stressful. I have the same psychiatrist, whom I still like seeing, so nothing has changed there. I like that you can easily schedule Tele-health appointments. I have never had to wait long to schedule an appointment, so I am able to get my prescriptions when I need them. The patient messaging portal is a great option for communication as well. They have always responded to me within 24 hours, as long as it is a business day that I sent my message. I have been going here since 2016 and will continue to stay.

Be very careful when coming here with an open mind of their office people will lie and lie to not…read morehave to do their job or help you. You can tell in their attitude when they answer the phone its a big F you This is an office for people with mental health issues and they do not take that into consideration at all!!! I come here for meds I missed an appt that was my fault. They then called me to reschedule and I told the lady lets wait because Im not sure. Well she scheduled me anyways and the day she scheduled me I was in the hospital no way I could go to this appt. I called to reschedule and was told I can not come there anymore. I asked why and they told me I no showed to an appt ( One I told them not to schedule). I told them I have proof I was in the hospital hoping that would at least help me NOPE!!! This lady wanted to bring up an appt I missed from when I was 19/20 years old over 15 years ago that is being held against me. I asked if the doctor could at least refill my meds so I can have time to find another provider. We all know its beyond hard finding one with certain types of insurance. The office lady told me NO ! One of my meds being one you are not supposed to stop cold turkey. I let her know and she basically told me we do not care. I would not recommend coming here if you are actually trying to better yourself!!
