I got a "hey come on in", "welcome", "I like your sweater", "this seat is open!" Right off the bat. A few local patrons "adopted" me as one of their own, even though I was just in town visiting. Drinks are cheap. And there is an outdoor area for smoking, with heat lamps in the winter. It is predominantly a Steelers bar (football), and it's where a lot of active and retired Marines go to let loose. Pool tables, darts, and video trivia are available too! They also ad another $7 charge on any patrons paying with card. This includes bar drinks, cover fee etc. Even if you're only paying in cash, drinks are overpriced and service is slow. I've been to a lot of bars/clubs in Jacksonville NC, and while on of them are necessarily good, The Limlight is arguably the most overpriced and underwhelming.
