Great place and great beer! There is tons of seating outdoors with enough space for your kids to walk around. The inside is so cozy- I could've stayed there all day! The beer is really great with a good size of selections for all (even juice boxes for the kiddos). I will definitely come back next time I am visiting. If I could give this zero stars I would. We walked into the bar around 1:00pm on a Thursday. Bartender didn't say hello. No wait staff to be seen. Bartender was too busy with what appeared to be a regulars (three sitting at the bar). We sat down and waited and waited and waited. Finally, we asked for a menu from the bartender, who acted like we were a bother. We finally just left and went to another brewery. Do not recommend at all unless you are a regular. Not new client friendly. Service was abysmal. read more

Went over to Rick's but when we pulled in the parking lot was so full we were like uhhh.... Looks like a lot wait. As we are traveling further back we see this spot. I recognized it from a flyer I saw and so we decided to kill some time til the line died down. Super cool place. Very friendly staff. You can order takeout from Ricks. Dog friendly. It was unfortunately raining so all the outside seating was wet but there is enough of an awning that we were still able to stay outside and dry. They had Three Cord Cory playing who is awesome! So glad we decided on a whim to stop in. We ended up listening to a few songs, going to Ricks and coming back for a few more songs. My best friend doesn't drink Kraft beers and he was happy with the selection. I bet if we lived around here this would be the hang out for everyone. read more

What a fun, tucked away spot in Sneads Ferry! I would have never known it was there because it's behind Rick's. There was an open air feel-some "indoor" seating, as well as a ton of outdoor seating. There are some lights strung across the decking and lots of seat options! There is a pathway from the parking lot to the brewery as well as to/from Rick's. There was even a fun swing on the deck for 2 people! They have plenty of beers to choose from but when I said I'm not a beer drinker, the man behind the bar didn't say we have wine until I purchased a beer and closed my tab. But now I know for next time! All the talk about Rick's ... and there is a way to order food from a QR code at many spots at the brewery. read more

It was a quiet and cool early afternoon on Friday when I stopped in.the establishment is tucked behind Ricks restaurant but easy to find and get to. They have a really nice outdoor area with lots of chairs and space but too cold on January day. Inside is very nice.. TVs for those wanting that and lots of seating options. I say st bar and tried 4 beers in a flight. All 4 had great flavors! My bartender was very cordial and answered questions I had. It's very cozy inside and I think they have beer for just about anyone. They are already toying with beers they will introduce in spring summer months.. read more

Aside from the beer being subpar, WHO is the brainiac that decided to open the garage doors and all doors to the inside during music bingo on a 90 degree night?!?! The music bingo guy said "sorry we failed in trying to cool off the OUTSIDE.". WHAT?!? It was absolutely miserable and the floors were like a skating rink. While you "expand", consider FANS in all areas including outside. More outside tables instead of those dumb rocking chairs and stools. More style than substance at this place. read more

Location is great, food from Rick's is great, and parking is great. The beer is very lacking, though. The space is also pretty small, with the layout just not being the most efficient. It's so hard to get into line for subpar beer, and then find a cramped corner to stand in to drink it. I've tried so many beers from here throughout the last year plus, but none of them hit right, which is a real shame. read more

This is one of our favorite breweries. We travel down from New Bern at least once a month. We always bring our dog and love the fact that they are dog friendly inside and out. Their beers are great and they always have at least one cider on tap. I believe they also serve wine. The bartenders are always friendly, efficient and helpful. There is plenty of inside seating and they have an outdoor covered deck. There is even a big grassy area for kids to play. We usually bring our own food. Once in a while we will order from Pete's which is in the same parking lot and they deliver the food to the brewery. read more

We absolutely love this place and that we make it a point to visit it at least twice a week sometimes more they have an excellent beer selection and with my and my husband's tastes very differently. We both are always satisfied with something that we love the entire staff is amazing and because we frequent it there often they typically remember what we like. Everyone is always polite and smiley. They also typically have great events each night of the week for something fun to do for all of us locals. They're constantly adjusting and renovating to accommodate their guests. It is kid and dog friendly, which sometimes kills the vibe depending on which dogs in which kids lol but overall, I support the idea. It's definitely not a dealbreaker for us me personally I love this hours and they have such a great rotation. There's always something new coming along to try. read more

Hit this place up last week a day after their grand opening. The brewery is very clean and there are several choices to choose from, light to dark beer as well as some sours and cider. The bar tenders are very welcoming and attentive to serve you. Definitely more of an upscale place where you don't have to worry about drunk bar fights or too wild or drunk of people. Dont sit at the bar. They will ignore you and only serve the people in the line. I guess the seats do not matter as you still need to get in the line order and then walk over to the sears at the bar. read more
