There were chairs outside for people to smoke their cigars. Inside were people smoking but it was very smoking. The ventilation was not good or they need to up it a bit. Nothing fancy! Just a regular cigar bar. They have their regular folks who come there daily. Everyone is friendly. Humidor is nicely stocked. If you want food, order it because no food is available. Soft drinks and water are available for sale. Parking is street parking. Their is a lot around the back. read more

This was an unexpected find. I knew there was a Tinder Box in downtown, but we came upon it totally by accident on our way to Central BBQ from Beale St. After lunch I returned for a Double Chateau and some good conversation while watching football on their large screen. Their humidor is very well stock with a diverse selection of cigars from all of the top brands. Even a bit surprising was the pricing, very good. I don't know why the prices are so low, but I try not to look a gift horse in the mouth. They don't have a zillion lounge chairs but they do have a few and lots of bar chairs; so it was quite comfortable. I wouldn't be doing this shop justice if I didn't mention how friendly everyone was. I was delighted. Usually it takes a few visits before the regulars warm up. Not so much here. Really great people. So, does it get my nod for a recommendation? ABSOLUTELY! This place is a terrific place to smoke a cigar while enjoying sports. Give them a try! read more

Great cigar shop. I was in town for a few days and went by the National Civil Rights Museum. I was walking back to hotel and happened across this shop. The shop had a good selection and staff was friendly. Great crowd, and good smoking area inside. I smoked outside and enjoyed the scenery. Worth a visit for sure. read more

If you are cigar smoker this place is great. Unfortunately I was looking for pipe tobacco. The other stores in the Memphis area carry a good selection of pipe tobacco. The downtown store does not. Nor does it carry any pipes. The guy running the store was very helpful and said he would love to get more pipe tobacco. I hope he's able to do that. read more

What a great cigar shop! Though the selsction is slightly bigger at their poplar and collierville shops, the location on south main makes it my favorite spot to smoke in town. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a great selection make it my go to cigar shop. read more
