I have been coming here for several years. The pho is delicious. But, now, something is either wrong with the kitchen organization or the wait staff or both!!! The last time I came they served my meal and then about 15 minutes went by before they delivered the meals of my dining companions. I complained and the bill was adjusted. Thinking this was a one off, I confidently came back today. This time 2 of the 3 meals arrived. Inexplicably, the 3rd meal did not turn up (even though it was identical to one of the other orders). When the 3rd meal arrived, 10 minutes later, we realized the 2 identical meals were identically cold. Not, "they sat at our table for 10 minutes" cold. But, "they must have come from the fridge" cold. We complained and initially they said it wasn't cold. (sigh) Another 15 minutes wait for warm meals to arrive. Now, I sit here feeling like we are being punished. No one has come back to our table - no replenishment of our water, no delivery of the check, and no take out containers for what we did not finish. Wish there was 0 stars fool me too many times. The services is terrible and staff just not nice and friendly. Never smile and never apologize to customers when they make them wait or get the order wrong and accused customers of being wrong. Unfortunately food is good but the service is the worst of all pho in Calgary. Try Pho Hoan Pasteur or The Pho Chu. More competent. read more

Ordered house special pho and bo kho with rice noodles. Pho was tasty, enjoyed the tendon. Stew had some tender pieces of meat and some too tough to eat. There was a lot of meat in the bowl. It was a bit too sweet and more watery than I expected. Between 2 people, we couldn't even finish half the bowl. Overall, the prices here are a bit expensive (2 bowls; 1 large and 1 reg; of soup came out to $35 before tip) Service was good. read more

My Family of 6 went to TiNi last Friday. I was really happy to see they were as busy as they were considering all the restrictions in place. While my meal, vermicelli & pork/beef/shrimp, was great, it wasn't great for all. Service was exceptionally slow - I'm okay with that, we were happy to be out of the house. I took 10m to be greeted by the server and take our order, meals didn't start arriving until 30 minutes later... all but my wife's came. When we mentioned the missing meal - about 10 minutes after - the meal was brought and dropped off at a table beside us. The guest had no idea why a meal he didn't order came to him and after another 10m he realized it was my wife's meal. While we're all done eating, my wife is just beginning. She hardly touched it and we really didn't discuss why. Later, when we got home, my wife says to me, "My meal was less than warm and it the spring rolls were still frozen inside." Overall, not the best experience ever. I think, to be fair, the servers were understaffed. TiNi's focus could have been scattered due to all the takeout business, normal for covid times, but effectively serving guests within the restaurant seems to have fallen. Note: This wasn't our first time eating their food, it was just the first time we ate inside TiNi. I do like their food and their shrimp salad rolls are excellent. read more

I had the medium rare beef noodle soup. The broth and meat were so delicious! It came with a generous portion of bean sprouts and Thai basil, with hoisin and sriracha on the side. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the noodles weren't great. They tasted cheap and were no different from ones you can get at the grocery store. If the noodles were improved, it would make a world of a difference. The service was great and the lady that took my order was very friendly. read more

Very nice new clean inside and modern decor open concept food was delicious not oily at all for the broth and good tasting salad rolls the down side to this restaurant compared to the other pho restaurants they do not have napkins chop stick or spoons at the table you have to ask and the sauces are in little bowls with spoons it's a personal preference but I rather have all of that at the table and the sauces in bottles but all in all the food was great and the staff is welcoming will definitely come back since it's so close to home and the food was delicious. read more

This was my first time ordering from here. Ordered online for my family of 5 and scheduled to be ready for 7:30pm ended up receiving it 8:10pm. Asked hostess if the satay chicken consisted of a soft texture and not the dried type. She said yes very soft. Unfortunately this was not the case and made the experience hard to get through. I would of opted for beef if the information was truthful and accurate. Staff should know if the chicken used is from the breast or thigh which makes an incredible difference in the customer experience. read more

This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have been. Food quality is great, well prepared and taste good. We ordered shrimp salad rolls, grilled beef roll with vegetables, and noodle soups(ofc). I was initially want to give a 4 stars as usually I don't like to give 5. This used to be great food. There is new ownership and it is awful. We returned our food - it was sooo bad and they didn't even care. We lodged informed them on their website to contact us and no answer. My husband called them and they said they were too busy and would call the next day. They never did. First off. Let me be clear. The food here is really good and the staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is great and the decor is very inviting. Price is reasonable for the portion size (honestly I have never made it through a regular size, who the heck eats the large??). Having said that I went for the third time tonight with my son. It was busy but maybe 2/3 full. We ordered fairly quickly. Few minutes later a couple sits at the table next to us and I see a few other new tables sit. Then their food comes. Ours still hasn't. The table next to us has finished their dinner by the time our server notices we still haven't had anything brought to our table. It's about another 15 more minutes before we see any food. I asked what happened and she said they accidentally packaged it to go. The food is for the most part lukewarm and it's clear to me that they took most of the food that had been sitting for 45 minutes or so for pick up and re played it for us to eat. No discount on the bill or visit from a manager. I gave 3 stars because the first two visits we good, a little long getting the bill so we could leave, but good. I see other reviews about long waits for food and wonder how often this happens. Perhaps an opportunity for the management to refine systems. I'll go back. The food is good but i have never seen a more dysfunctional process in my whole life. I waited for 1.5 hours for my food after the time they told me to arrive. I swear this is no exaggeration. They continued to come and ask my name. Each time they scrambled into the back and came out with nothing. They would put bags of food on the table without announcing to the 20 or so people waiting whose food it was. One guy was waiting for at least a half hour for food that was sitting there all the time. I think they had 80% of my order done and them their system could not find a way to connect the last meal with the bag. First time i went for take out they were 30 minutes late and i thought it was a one off. Apparently not cause they outdid themselves. One guy said he had waited 2 hours. Heres an idea. As the orders come up, post the names on a screen, chalkboard, lite brite, whatever so that everytime someone comes in you are not having to play the name game and read every single bag. When i got it? All stone cold except the appetizer was hot. No doubt the rest sat there the whole time. Its crazy times, i get it. But with organizational skills like that you are doomed to fail. I give it 6 months and will never ever go back. Oh yeah and no offer of a discount or anything. I was there so long i think they were starting to prep a cot for me... i have never left a review in my life but this was soo bad i thought i would save someone else the heartache. read more
