There was a large variety of activities and it was nice to see the alumni village and celebrate with other UCF graduates young and old! It's a shame that tickets aren't provided to veterans and family like they used to be! I would love to go back this year!

I recently was here for a festival and it is a nice stadium and grounds, the rest is a lot to be desired. Getting into the venue was easy but the security wasn't on the same page with the water bottle rules. The site says sealed bottles were allowed but when I tried going through, they made me either throw it out or empty it before I was allowed in. I had to chug my water so I didn't have to pay for an $8 dollar bottle of water!!! The staff was more or less friendly but a lot of them seemed to wanna be anywhere else but there while the event was going on. The bathrooms were absolutely atrocious and should have been cleaned every thirty minutes. There was water and who knows what else, everywhere. Food was pretty good, from the handful of things I had over the weekend, but the prices were ridiculous. They wanted almost $10 dollars for an Auntie Anne's pretzel. Overall its a decent place with some happy workers and decently good food but not a venue I would go to unless absolutely necessary.

I don't have many arenas to compare Kia Center to, and I feel like basketball/hockey arenas are a lot more homogeneous than say baseball stadiums. There was nothing here to really knock my socks off like when I took my dad to see the Tigers play at Pittsburgh's glorious PNC Park. But it was a swell time nonetheless. I also don't usually spring for or get freebies for lower bowl seats so it's a bit apples and oranges to try to compare the close to the action seats I treated us to here to the high altitude ones I usually find myself in at Little Caesar's Arena, recently for a game 2 playoff win against these same Orlando Tragic. Sorry, I should try to keep it classy here, especially since my Pistons bought themselves a trip to Cancun in the second round. Anyways we had good seats with nice sightlines. Outside they had a whole fan experience area that seemed many geared to young people but wasn't happening too much. Funny cause there's a kind of party area courtyard outside LCA that's usually pretty sleepy for the games I've been to. Just random stray selfie takers mostly. The pizza stand we hit up was well organized and smooth, letting a big queue move through there pretty quickly, with its system of grabbing premade slices, beverages and snacks yourselves and then cashing out with cards at self service kiosks. There's stands at LCA set up like that but only for beverages and snacks, nothing with food that will serve as a whole meal. I also like this better than the system I encountered at PNC Park in Pittsburgh where you have to preorder and cash out on your phone and then come up when your number is called. The pizza was okay, nothing outstanding but arena and stadium food never really is. You could tell it was an Orlando Magic home game but there was a sizable and vocal Pistons fan contingent there. We actually sat next to a couple of Detroit fans and there were a couple more a couple rows behind us. With Orlando being such a tourist destination I feel like they probably often get mobbed up with fans of visiting teams, at least from the eastern part of the country (and Canadian Raptors fans) especially at certain times of the year. My decibel meter on my phone only maxed out around 100 which isn't too great, though the arena was probably somewhere between 2/3 and 3/4 full. No comparison to John Mason player intros back home but all the usual whistles and bells with snippets of rap songs, cheerleaders, youth performers and a dragon as opposed to a horse mascot. Not a bad arena. I wouldn't mind seeing a concert there one night if I ever get the opportunity to see a good one.

First off, the arena is spacious and the seats are pretty good (even in the cheap seat section!) I…read morewent to the Magic-Pacers game to meet friends from Indiana. I selected a $37.50 seat through Ticketmaster, who charged $10+ as a service charge!! (Now I know why the majority of the country hates this monopoly!!) It was easy getting in, but getting out from the 200 level requires patience as there is a HUGE bottleneck to get onto the escalators. I only had one drink (no food) and that cocktail cost me $18 (not including tip!) for a shot of alcohol I could not taste in a cup filled to the top with ice. Overall, nice venue, but I doubt I'd visit again.

The Junior stadium sounds fun but it has no close snack bar and has two porter potties. It was rough to be on that side. Parking is parking!!! Lol there's alot but also alot of us. Carpool if possible. Its basically get in where you fit even if its on grass islands. Lol There was parking across the street but did hear after you can't park there. Buy your entry beforehand and show to get in. Keep your bags compact to not get searched or request a medical cooler tag to take in extra stuff. There is plenty of food and snacks options. Drinks are at a reasonable price. Staff was friendly and continously cleaning the restrooms. I seen pop up booths for bats, gloves, posters, mini bobbleheads of your players. Kona ice, pineapple spot, Chinese food. The fields were well kept and can handle alot of rain so unless there's lightning games are on. They'll play til 2am to makeup any games affected by weather. We had about 5 lightning delays followed by buckets of rain. There's a lightning tracker and it will let you know when its safe to return. During this time everything closes and everyone is told to take cover!

While UCFs stadium is smaller than other schools with its two-tier metal structure, it is what gives it so much character... I mean it wouldn't "Bounce" as the fans cheer on their team in excitement if it was concrete! It really is an experience and I cherish it while it lasts! The smaller structure also means even the "nosebleeds" have a great view. The main scoreboard is positioned on the North end with the student sections at both end zones; the South end zone is where the main action for the student energy has remained. The cabana section on the east side of the stadium feels like a Lux, upgraded experience although why it doesn't have air conditioned restrooms is beyond me, they're comparable to other restrooms although they had a really nice display of free feminine products including I think hair ties available. Other than that they're like any other restroom in the stadium (maybe excluding the Tower), where I feel like I'm fighting for my life between the heat and humidity (ha), but really why? Concessions are concessions... although there are a few boutique options throughout that may change season to season, I've seen Sonny's BBQ, Flippers Pizzeria, cotton candy stand, a new addition of grab and go drinks (sounded better than it was), and Bonus! The stadium now serves adult beverages (beer, seltzer, etc.)! Anyway, I love the energy of this stadium every time I go to a game and the parking/traffic is well coordinated. Oh minus 1 star because they "supposedly" upgraded the network service and we still never have service in the stadium... GO KNIGHTS AND CHARGE ON!!

I have to take off a star because they did not accept American Express credit cards and/or cash at the concession stands. Prices were of course high, however, that's expected.
