Generally good for a family…read more Tennis director and coaches are excellent but management doesn't support them properly. 1. Management refuses to allow outside players join USTA teams. There are ways to accommodate outside players that would be profitable for the club and allow DH captains to field more competitive teams. Membership would rise and DH players would be able to win more. 2. After refusing to set up the bubble during the rainy season management will not invest in proper relatively inexpensive water removal equipment such as the Vaptor. Many private clubs and even a number of public courts have this technology. DH is not up to speed in this area. USTA events would be kept on schedule better. Club coaches would be able to teach more and club players would be able to play more. 3. The courts are the poorest numbered courts in NorCal. Even high school and public park courts are better numbered. Presently one court is not numbered at all and other court numbers are hidden in alcoves. The numbers are on gates which, when open, hide the number completely. No numbers are on the inside of courts where numbers usually are located. Additionally the court sequence is illogical and confusing. Court 1 is on the middle line of courts while court 2 jumps to another line. Courts 1 & 2 are not adjacent. Visitors, USTA officials, and even club players are confused and inconvenienced by this lack of proper court numbering and the illogical sequencing. The above 3 issues are easy to rectify and inexpensive. It is poor management not to do so. It is especially surprising that these simple inexpensive changes are not made given that the owners were extremely high level tennis players themselves. They should better support the avid club players and excellent coaches.

The hours could be more flexible but this location's availability is pretty standard for the industry. I would strongly recommend using this gym if you enjoy working out without feeling overcrowded.

This facility used to be a great place to work out. The equipment was well maintained and the…read moreoverall condition of the gym reflected that. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Nearly every piece of equipment with padding now has cracked or torn upholstery, which gives the impression that maintenance has been neglected. I am also concerned about security. My locker has been broken into twice, and when I reported the incidents, I was told by a front desk employee that the security footage could not be shared. While I understand there may be privacy policies regarding video footage, having my locker broken into on two separate occasions without any apparent resolution is extremely frustrating. I would appreciate an explanation of what steps are being taken to improve the condition of the equipment and address the security concerns so that members can feel confident using the facility.

When I first walked into the center, it didn't feel especially welcoming, just pretty standard. It was around 9am and a bit noisy, almost like a street market. I noticed a pile of dirty towels sitting out. The women's locker room was okay, nothing dirty, but it felt a little dated and could use a refresh. A lot of the ladies were chatting, and it reminded me of a middle school locker room. The MixxedFit class itself, though, was amazing. The energy in the room was great and everyone seemed genuinely excited to be there. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. I'll definitely come back for another MixxedFit class with Javier.

This gym has become unacceptable. The air conditioning has been broken for over two months, and it…read morestill hasn't been repaired. With the number of people who use this facility every day, this is a serious health and safety concern, especially during the summer. In addition to the lack of air conditioning, the water fountains are frequently out of service, the bathrooms are unsanitary, and the overall cleanliness of the facility has noticeably declined. It feels like this location is simply a cash cow for Bay Club's corporate office. They continue to raise membership prices every year while neglecting maintenance, cleanliness, and customer service. This location sees far more traffic than many of their other clubs, yet it receives far less attention. If you're considering joining as a new member, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Until Bay Club invests in properly maintaining this facility and providing the level of service members are paying for, it's simply not worth the cost. Many of the members at this location are from diverse ethnic backgrounds, and it's deeply frustrating to see this club receive far less attention than locations like Pleasanton or Walnut Creek. Intentional as it seems the disparity in maintenance and investment is hard to ignore, and members at this location deserve the same safe, clean, and well-maintained facility as every other Bay Club member. I will also be contacting the Alameda County Department of Environmental Health to report these ongoing health and sanitation concerns.
