Just moved to Maryland and my car's tint didn't pass the Maryland inspection so I needed it removed. Saw AJ had great reviews and decided to give him a call. It was really easy to set up an appointment and change it as circumstances arose. He told me an accurate quote upfront: $150 if he can do it in less than 2 hours, which I felt was reasonable. AJ did it within an hour and did an excellent job. No tint remains obviously, and no damage nor sticky adhesive left behind. It's clear AJ likes working on cars and has been doing this for years. And AJ was very nice throughout the process. I'm personally not a car person and always get a bit antsy getting anything done on my car because I'm worried I won't seem like I know what I'm talking about (because I don't), but AJ made me feel at ease. Average to worse!!! AJ, at Tint Galaxy in Wheaton, MD, applied tint to the windows of my Mercedes SL & my Mercedes E wagon back to back. The job on the SL was average. There were bubbles/dust on every window & even a hair...gross! The job on the wagon was worst! There where bubbles/dust, smears & scratches. I just want the tint off. He is refusing to remove the tint and won't refund the money I paid him. He said he would redo the tint but he didn't get it right on either car the first time. He claims he has a warranty that he never gave me but it turns out the warranty is for the materials. The only guarantee you'll get, but nothing in writing, is poor workmanship & a bad business ethic. read more

At first I was a bit weary that these reviews might be fake however, I took a shot anyways since I could not refuse the great price AJ gave me for my 4-door honda accord and what I wanted to get done to it. Yes, this place is located in a residential area near Wheaton mall. It will be the house to your left side. AJ is very professional and knows what he is doing. Not to mention it only took him 2 hours and a half to do the job. He will either call you or text you when it is ready for pick up. My baby looks real bad a$$ with the tints! Please allow 2-3 days before opening your windows and never use windex with ammonium. Pay with cash or check (who carries checks nowadays anyways?). Cash is king. I went to get my front windshield tinted the lightest possible, and the end result was a nice clear UV protected windshield! It was custom cut by hand and it fit perfectly. I recently bought a new car ('16 Subaru WRX Ltd with CVT & Eyesight) and wanted to protect the interior from the upcoming hot weather. Did a little searching on Yelp and found the only vendor near me with a 5 star rating. AJ - the owner/operator - responded to my price inquiry fast and was very competitive with the other quotes I had received. I made an appointment for next available date and when the time came my car was done on time as promised. You can drop off your car or wait around and chitchat with him while he works (I waited). The tint I went with was the Carbon series and the maximum legal for Maryland (as close to the 35% max without going over as I could get). There were no bubbles after installation and following AJ's instructions (don't open the windows for a few days) remained bubble free and perfect to today. Am I satisfied? Well I liked it enough to bring in my girlfriend's car and get her car done a few days later. As to the quality of the work, if the tint job pleased her, I'm sure it will please you. Recommended!
