Tint World did a great job of tinting the windows of my 2011 Porsche Cayenne. The end result was awesome but the whole buying experience was fantastic. The manager of the store spent time talking me through the different options I could choose from, gave me the pros and cons of each and helped me make a decision I was confident with. There isn't one kind of window tinting, some products are better than others at the amount of UVA/UVB light they allow into the cabin, others do a better job at preventing heat from entering the car which helps keep the car cooler and lets you ease up on your air conditioning. It's not just about how dark you want your windows to be. My 18 month old son didn't like the amount sunlight coming through the stock tinting in the rear of the car and I felt like the front of the cabin was also letting in too much light. Plus it was getting hot inside the cabin faster than my other cars. It just wasn't very comfortable. The guys at Tint World also tested my windows and helped me determine how dark to go. Up front the MN law says you can go higher than 50% light reduction. My stock windows were 30%, we darkened them to 50%. My rear windows were 50% and we took them to 75% light reduction. I wouldn't recommend them. Horrible customer service. They didn't do the job correctly and when I went to have it redone they wanted to charge me to redo the original job. So if you like getting swindled by crooks then by all means use them for your car needs. I guess professionalism, integrity and honesty aren't their strong suits. God bless read more

I went there for 5 percent all around. They suggested 20 on the front. I still sign the risk on your own paper. The tinted they gave on the front faded out. My Camry 20 percent looks way better from 5 years ago. read more

Good tint and 2 year warranty I went and made them redo my tint because on the front windows there was a quarter inch gap way wider than anyone else I've gone too. They do the best brows around tho. read more

Came her once and they messed up on a vehicle of mine, gave them another chance and they offer good products will poor installation. Had 2 windows tinted, then called about gap, then was told to come back to have them redone for free, then when I brought my car there at 11 am to be redone I was told that I would be re charged for the new window tinting. Unprofessional. Not caring about wasting others time. read more

It seems every employee has a "medical condition" because none of them were wearing masks. It was extremely uncomfortable waiting in their lobby, and as a healthcare worker it was extremely upsetting. They're putting their costumers health at risk by not adhering to state guidelines. There is no medical condition that can prevent you from wearing a mask. Will not be giving them our business ever again. read more

I love these guys and the job they did. I brought in a 2008 Passat Wagon and they did an awesome job. The tint dude took his time explaining the different prices and films and made me really feel like I was in good hands. While the job was being done the owner made me feel at home and took some time to chat with me about cars and life in general. The price was fair for the labor and materials involved and I really do feel like these guys care about their customers. I had an outstanding experience at Tint World. I came in for headlight restoration and was amazed at the results. They took my headlights from a dingy film to looking like they just came out of the factory. What impressed me the most was the owner Jeff. You can tell when you walk into a business that someone has put their heart and soul into it and Jeff and his wife have done that and then some. Jeff is a car guy through and through. He loves talking about all things car related and is extremely knowledble. His showroom is immaculate and he has a great variety of after market improvements. He charges a fair price for his products and services and takes pride in the work he and his team do. Unfortunately after my recent experience here at tint world, I am changing my review from a 5 to 1 because of the way they handle situations where they damaged my car while needing to change the emblems. Long story short- I took my car in to change the emblems and was told it's a 30 min job, I was there nearly 4 hours. Allan (worker there) scratched my car and tried to use a paint stick to cover it up. It still looked bad so he came out and said "if you really want it fixed we can fix it but it looks fine". I asked to see it. It was not fine. He said he would call his paint guy to fix it. Owner repeatedly kept apologizing and I said no worries as long as it gets fixed in a timely manner, stuff happens. Owner said don't worry it'll get fixed. A week goes by and I hear nothing from anyone, I called 3 times during the week to just know what is going to happen and when, no call back. The last phone call, I hear Logan asking someone what should I tell her or do? And he was told to tell me Allan will call me back, never received a call back. So then I go in, Allan is at lunch and owner says "it's not my deal" I say "how is this not your deal? It was done by your shop??" He says "Allan is paying for it out of his pocket and you'll need to talk to him when he gets back from lunch it's not my deal". Then proceeds to shrug his shoulders and say "it doesn't affect drivability so...?" And throws his hands up like oh well. I was livid. He goes to the back and the customer in the shop literally says sounds like you're getting the run around and tells me I should get mad. So Allan gets back, has a total it's not a big deal attitude, gave excuse after excuse as to why he wasn't calling me back. Then, he says my paint guy can get you done this week. I ask what shop does he work for because he obviously doesn't work here if you can't get ahold of him (one of the excuses told to me). He says he does side paint work like he does side tint work for tint world. I said is he licensed? He said of course. (I don't know anything about cars I just assumed there's some type of licensing needed to do this). I told him I'm no longer comfortable with this since he obviously doesn't care and there is no remorse or anything from him for what happened. Especially since I have been more than understanding about this situation. I asked if tint world has insurance because I'll just make a claim with my insurance, he said yes. I said ok I'll do that. So we walk back in and the owner says I'm not doing insurance my deductible is 1000.00$ I said well given Allan's lack of communication and attitude of oh well and your attitude of it's not your problem I'm not comfortable with you guys having some unknown person do my paint so I want to take it to an actual paint shop. Jeff (owner) said get it done and I'll reimburse you then. So basically I had to pay out of pocket to get 872.25 worth of work done to my car and he reimbursed me. I will say he reimbursed me the same day I paid so that was good. Just wanted to warn people yes they do good work, but if you come across an issue, the owner has a very much oh well attitude and no one will ever call you back. I had to literally drive there to talk to anyone. Very sad seeing how I really really liked this shop and was looking forward to getting more things done here. read more

Wonderful service and very knowledgeable of products and specifications and very astute to what I was needed with detailed care with installation. They squeezed me in despite having other appointments and still gave me the same attention and regards as if I had an appointment, and that meant a lot since I wouldn't be there after that day. I would recommend this shop for your car audio needs and accessories and window tinting. They took me through each step and made sure I was completely satisfied along the way, and even the owner himself drove to another shop to grab what I needed. Danny the install tech was wonderful and courteous to my truck and cleaned up after he finished and didn't disrupt or break anything.
