I've never written a review of a business before in my life. I've never left a business and felt as though it was worth my time to tell other people what it was like. Tint World at 3303 University drive in Hollywood is the exception. My experience was so positive I would feel wrong deep down if I kept it a secret. I'm stuck with a state mandated Intoxalock device that requires monthly calibration. I've gone other places to have it serviced (a 5 minute procedure) and I've ended up wasting an hour on average. It's time I didn't enjoy and obviously will never get back. Not here. At Tint World no sooner was I in then I got out. The job was done in a blink. I saved so much time that I can take some now to tell you about it. The staff was helpful and courteous. They gave me the kind of customer service that everyone hopes for but no one seems to get anymore. Honestly, up until now, I thought service that good had gone extinct. Thank God it's alive and well at Tint World. Being stuck with Intoxalock is tough enough and calibrating it anywhere else only makes it worse. You have a choice where you get it calibrated. Now, for me, there's no question anymore. IT'S TINT WORLD AND NO WHERE ELSE! I just wish I'd gone here to begin with. read more

Asked for a quote for the ultimate package for my new 22 Trail boss truck and was told they could not give it over the phone. Every other Tint world gave out prices and availability. This store claimed it was because of competition. Lol well hello..... your loosing to your competition right off the bat by asking someone to drive 30 min to an hour one way with traffic and the gas prices to your location just to find out if you are competitive or not and can get me an appointment.....a big no for my business. Damn giving away $400+ never used to be so hard, and by the way your price for the lower package was $20 more than the other Tint Worlds and even if your price was slightly higher for the ultimate package I was looking for I would have paid it if you could have gotten me in sooner than them..... someone needs to learn marketing 101. read more

This place has done work on my car previously and I was very satisfied. So much so that almost a year later, when I decided to start doing some more stuff to my car I came back to this location. Chino gives a great competitive price and the work from his team comes out great. Although they are a franchise, not all tint world locations are run the same, give the same prices or have the same pride in the work they do. It's worth the little extra drive to come to this location. They also offer a few services that not all tint world locations offer which is fantastic. Did my Son's car there cause I wanted to have something better on a vintage car then usual. Besides the laser cut I cant see a difference rather than the higher price. I brought my wife's car to the swap shop 2 years ago and the installation looks cleaner then here. JC and the guys make sure to take 3 passes with the hot water extraction, and everything came out great. When I came for my appointment, the manager on duty asked me what type of window tint I wanted. The conversation went south from there.
