I did not have the most positive customer service experience there. I have a warranty issue that needed to be addressed. They don't seem to use quality wand material. I have had to return here for the SECOND time to fix a problem with the installation. The materials they use only last approximately 15 months before they fail. They did NOT agree to replace the tint a second time. I would not recommend using them for tint. They clearly do not like standing behind the warranty. read more

ZERO STARS **"WORST tint company ever! No customer courtesy, no clear information, and no proper documentation. They use fraud business tactics, push their own recommendations, and leave the customer in trouble. This company does not follow DMV registration rules, and later customers are the ones who suffer. Leroy and his wife (owners) lies and traps people with false promises. We went to get our car windows tinted and they recommended ceramic tinting for the windshield. They never asked for or gave us a medical authorization form to be signed. When I checked online, I found that a legitimate company will NEVER proceed with such tinting until this medical authorization form is approved by a doctor. This clearly shows they are running an illegal business. And when we, as customers, went back with all this information, they harassed us by calling the cops and labeling us as trespassers. This is ridiculous and no one should ever get their business done by Tint World. Leroy and his wife are the owners -- completely unprofessional, dishonest, and fraudulent people. They get a star for doing a good job on tinting my windows. I also had a wrap done by them in 2020, had it taken off this year by a different shop & the other shop discovered that tint world damaged my car. Scratches on every panel, they used an adhesive that's not supposed to be used on cars which caused damage to the clear coat. Bumper clips were broken and needed to be replaced. I'm still angry about this. Never take your car here. To add, I have photos of the adhesive that was put on the cars, globs of it were underneath it. The company that removed them wrap did not charge me extra for the repairs on the vehicle. They handled everything with professionalism. I stand by my original review. It is unfortunate that I came here after reading the other reviews. Just like everyone else they nickel and dime'd me, for an extra $110, after I had paid because their sales associate did not quote the car properly. I recommend training your sales associates, having a technician quote what is needed, or just being up front with your cost. Hope the tint is good... but im sure its not $548.29 (for a sedan) good. Update after seeing the owners response: your business practices, and inability to train your sales staff on how to quote, are an unacceptable reason to pass common prep work off as additional labor cost to the customer. If the work was extensive your sales staff should have recognized it, and it would have taken more time. My appointment was at 2pm, you quoted 2 hours for the original install, during your call stated you would beed an extra hour to remove the residue, but you didnt need anymore time (see the photo)... did you pay your employees for an extra hour of work (they didnt do) or did you just pocket it? Im sure we all know the money went to your pocket... shameful. Under Virginia law services, like the labor to remove residue are typically non-taxable, sorry I wasn't gunna let you pull another $8.82 from me to pad your pockets... read more

Told me the price up front and did let me know that sometimes the defrost lines get damaged with removal of my old cheap tint. Fortunately, no lines were damaged. I also had them restore the headlights on my 2015 car. Fabulous job done on those as well. They fit me in quickly and their quoted time to get the job done (both times) was accurate. STAY AWAY ... Went in for a simple Tint job - 2 front windows. Easy. I was quoted $150. When I checked out they tacked on $12 in "shop supplies". Deceptive pricing After they finished the job, I inspected the film and there were defects. Tech claimed he fixed it - but the same imperfections were still there. So they had to start the job over. No apology from the manager. After finishing the job, I discovered that they had installed 18% tint, which is not what I asked for. I asked for VA legal tint (50%). He showed me the paperwork where I signed off on the 18%, but what I asked for was "a Virginia legal tint". I assumed 18% was that. It wasn't until later that I learned that 18% is not legal. The manager accused me of simply changing my mind on the tint and said I'd need to pay to have the job done again to fix the mistake. read more

I love coming here. I've gone here a few times now. To get a new audio system installed and most recently for a window tint job. The windows came out phenomenal. They look so sleek and there are absolutely no creases or moisture marks. Mike put so much effort into my sound system and the he spent hours balancing it for the sound I wanted. I couldn't be happier. Their prices are good compared to what I've seen around, but the quality is high end. And most importantly they take care of your ride. Whether it's a vette or a camry. While I'm waiting I always spoke with Hans about other ideas I had and he was always able to offer me options without pushing me into things I didn't want, which is just refreshing. I received a premium detail for $450. The charged me an extra $30 for cleanning supplies. Why wouldn't they be included in the price? You can't detail a car without cleaning supplies. So the $450 is for labor only? Also, I had to go home a remove spots because the cleaning products didn't remove them. I literally took a dab of Soft Scrub cleaner and removed the stains in under five minutes. Same with floor mats. They couldn't clean the mats (which they tried to hide in the trunk), I soaked them in tide and boiling water. Better to take your car to EcoWash or Flagship. I was considering getting my car roof wrapped but this left a bad taste. read more

We had a scheduled Appt Friday morning and once we got there they walked us through all the tint options and pricing to make sure we were 100% about our decision. Later on in the day they provided us with an update of when the car would be done which was perfect since we live roughly 30 minutes from the shop. Once we got there, Theo met us outside to walk through everything double checking that we loved everything he did. Not to mention they cleaned and detailed the car for us. Tint World hooked me up with a sweet set of rims! My OEM rims were delaminating or peeling all around and I was trying to keep them as new rims were so expensive. The guys over there told me they could powder coat my rims! At first I was skeptical because you never know what you're going to get with wheel repairs. They had my car for about 3 days, and to match the body of my car I decided to go shiny black. They were up front that the inserts couldn't be painted, but that made me more excited! I am very disappointed with the service I have received at this location. one year ago I had a "ceramic coating" and detail performed on my new car. the work was quite sloppy and incomplete. there was waxy residue in several areas inside and outside the vehicle. I would have returned it had it not been 40 miles from my home, so I cleaned it up myself. One year later I returned to have the "main teen ace on the ceramic job and installation of dash cams. After 2 full days, I was told the car is ready to pick up. I arrived, paid for the camera installation and was told to "come back another time" for the maintenance, because we didn't have time to do it. I decided to forego the maintenance. six months later, the camera became very hot and failed and would not start. I brought it to my local mechanic who showed me that tint world cut off the custom harness that I paid them for and instead SPLICED INTO THE MIRROR POWER WIRE! Disgraceful corner-cutting. and, the splicing was a completely amateur job. I cannot recommend this joint to anyone. Boooo! Zero stars. cannot be trusted. read more

I had a lot of work done to my 2018 Mustang at the Sterling, VA Tint World. Window tinting, new Alpine head unit, turn signal cameras, tuner and tune. I believed that the work would be quality work because of the owners association with the local car community. I was very flexible with my timeline, because I needed it to be right and I was moving to FL in a few months. At one point my car spent a month at the shop. I spent more than I anticipated because I added the head unit and the turn signal cameras. Unfortunately, the only thing that went well was the tinting. Everything had issues that I returned to the shop several times for correction. Once I moved to FL, it didn't end there. I went to my closest Tint World, about 45 minutes away (Port Charlotte), and they discovered that there was poorly done work and also that the mic for the head unit was totally missing - that's why no one could hear me when I made/rec'd a call. I made 3 trips to Tint World here to have things undone (tuner and tune), redone (head unit) or corrected. In the end, my review is of the Sterling, VA shop. I think they over promised and didn't have the talent to perform the work - other than the tinting. The Port Charlotte shop has worked diligently and tirelessly to make the needed corrections to poor quality work. read more
