This is definitely the tint spot in Cape Coral and Ft. Myers. I had my windows tinted years ago, had a couple that needed touched up from wear and tear. Update. They now charge more than double. We paid 109 for five windows before. Now we were quoted 109 for two windows. And you'll be lucky to even get an appointment within a two week wait. Well if you're only open 4 days a week what do you expect . We found a place that's closer that charges 69 for two windows. Haha No crazy talk. read more

Previous tinting on my rear window had bubbled up in the Florida sun and I wanted it replaced since visibility was compromised. Tints and Beyond got me in right away. He quoted me a price and the time line to finish the job. The man was right on both accounts. Beautiful work, professional service and a pleasant environment. I read one of the other reviews where the lady complained of the cost and she found someone that would do it for less. So disappointed! I was told about this business through Facebook. Considering I went to high school with the owner I'm all about helping small businesses in our area. I called 2.5 weeks ago to get a quote on my car. I was told for the best quality tint it would $350 for my entire car. I told them I would call back to schedule an appointment. A week later which was Saturday 4/3 I called and got a voicemail to schedule an appointment. I received a call back on Monday 4/5 to schedule my car for this Saturday 4/10. I told the guy on the phone everything I needed. He told me over the phone that it would be $30 extra then what I was quoted. I told him I received a quote of $350 which he then stated not a problem. He then took down my make and model of my car since I explained I had to work during their hours. I explained I had no problem dropping off my car and when it was done just paying over the phone so I can pick it up that evening. Yesterday around 2:45 I never received a call, so something told me call and check on the car. The guy I spoke to on the phone had not idea what I was talking about, had no record of me having an appointment. I explained everything like I did to the guy on Monday. Stating I wanted to get the entire car done with a strip on the front, I wanted it legal with the two front doors matching the rest of the car. I explained it was a new car and might have stock tint on it. They said not a problem that they can get it done by 5. I received a call at 5:10 telling me they close at 6. I asked if my car was done and the guy said yes and that I needed to pick it up before 6 or pay now. Based off of them not having me down for an appointment I had a feeling I needed to check it out first prior to paying. When I got to the business my car was in the front and the front two windows are lighter then the rest of the car. I walked into the business explaining everything to the now 3rd guy who was trying to take payment. The guy said that what was done to the car was what I asked, which clearly it's not. He was extremely rude and then stated if I needed it fixed they would have to charge me for a removal and replacement for those windows. I asked to speak with the owner when he smirked at me saying yeah he comes in whenever. Last time I saw him was a week ago. I always go to my normal tint place and never have any problems or have been treated like that. I will never recommend this business to anyone in our community. Seeing that I work for the county on business licenses I should of looked into this business sooner since now that I have they are not operating properly. Throughout my years I've never wrote a bad review about a window tint shop but this i guess will be my first. Tints and Beyond however, has earned one and i can sum it up as the following - Cheap quality tint, poor customer service, high prices. The story - I got my car tinted at this place using their "medium" grade tint. The total was $243 and the tint looked like it was laid correctly. When i began using the car however, i noticed that even though the tint darkened the windows, it felt like it blocked no heat/sun at all. Nothing. It felt like i had my windows down in FL in July! I attempted to bring up my concerns to the shop owner, comparing his shop to other shops on Metro Pkwy who quoted me at $189 to do the same tint job but with better quality tint (that would actually block heat/sun) but it got me no where. Conclusion - Cheap quality tint, poor customer service, high prices. Will never go back. read more

Not very friendly. Shop not open during posted business hours. Called many times and no answer during business hours. Don't buy a Groupon for this place, you'll be treated as a second rate customer. Called to see if I could get 2 windows tinted today, he said sure, be here in 20 minutes. I packed up my kid and drove over. They were ready to do the work until they found out I had a Groupon. Then I became a second rate Customer. His attitude changed towards me and said I would need to make an appointment. Canceled my Groupon, got my money back and paid full price at Xtreme Tinting. I purchased a Groupon for my daughter's car that I purchased for Christmas. I had the tints done on 12/19. Before Geno started i "enquired" if that included the front windshield? He said no that's an extra $30. After the job was complete, he explained warranty and even said if i had any water marks or bubbles to bring back and he would fix it. So, several days later after it dried I took the car to get detailed. When I got in the car I noticed the passenger window had all watermarks and my back window looked scratched (the convertible/window was brand new in back) so I went right to Tints & Beyond. Geno checked it out and said he would fix but that my window was damaged from the sprinkler and if he took it off he would charge me if it was still there. We went back and forth for approx 10 mins and he wasn't, nor was I understanding what he was saying b/c I've NEVER had a sprinkler stained a window so I felt whole heartily that it was something with tint b/c HE brought up water marks with tint to come back!! So, I made an appt to go back today and have them changed out. I brought a friend and my daughter. We asked to see the BOTH windows when he took off the tint and he said he would. The passenger side window we had to peek back and walk back on our own to inspect it. He was cleaning the inside of the window.. and very cocky said "See I told you its still there" So, we asked for him to clean the outside of the window like he did inside with the blade and guess what?! IMMEDIATELY what i was complaining about came off and I said look its not there anymore so its not stained. He said I know its not I told you that it wasn't the tint so I have to charge you $25.00 plus tax to put it back on!! Now my question is... if he "knew" all along that it was the outside window and it comes off that easily... Why didnt he say to me, "M'am go home and try to clean the window like this and if its still there I will replace" or how about when he inspected it say "M'am let me show you its not the tint its actually the outside and it comes off" NOOOO That was too much! You know why?! Because it was much easier to rip me off and charge me another 25.00 plus tax to get my car back!! He then said he would call the owner b/c he is just an employee... only to find out he is a part owner as well. When the Owner walked in, you can tell he didnt want to hear much of anything all tho he allowed us to speak. His body language read way different. After we explained this to him along with the fact that we were NOT allowed to see the back window after tint came off to make sure it wasn't scratched. The Owner, Lianzi could careless and repeated what the first arrogant kid said to us. There was NO kind of anything from either of them. They didnt care about anything and they knew they had me basically by the throat not to mention. Me discussing with my friend that I would have to get that window tinted b/c I can't have just one off.. they took it upon themselves to put it on without me formally telling them ok go ahead so i was forced into paying them!!! I AM FURIOUS HOW I WAS TREATED BY THE BOTH OF THEM. There is NO customer relations there. For 25.00 they would rather me write bad reviews everywhere I can and have myself and my daughter (a high school student) bad mouth their business!!! Have you heard of such a thing? I guess this is the new generation on how they conduct business... BULLYING THE CUSTOMER INTO SPENDING MONEY!! The place is filthy inside and has extremely dirty & broken couches for you to supposedly relax on while they do they job. I wouldn't sit not them if you paid me its disgusting!
