Mickey is amazing! I've used her for 3 different photo sessions with my family - two 1st birthday sessions and one big extended family session. She is great to work with bc she's so patient esp with the babies, knowledgeable about getting the best photos and professional. For the 1st birthday sessions, it is very hard to get good photos of your baby during this stage but Mickey had so many tips, was so understanding and patient. I was very impressed with how she didn't give up and gave us so much time in order to get the best photos. For our big extended family session with 22 people (including grandparents and 7 kids ranging from teens to toddlers), she scouted out different locations for us and was so easy to work with. Getting photos for such a big group is definitely not easy but Mickey made it seem so! Most importantly, I love all the photos from all of our sessions we've had. Was recommended by a few friends and definitely don't regret going with Mickey for my son's cake smash. I reached out to her a little last minute but she was able to accommodate. I would recommend atleast 2 months ahead because she does book out and for good reason. She was very easy to communicate with thru email and text. I also went with Mickey because she made it so convenient coming to our home. She brought everything..outfits, props, and even the cake! It was so much easier than bringing my baby to a studio. She was really patient in getting the shots and had a few tricks to get my son to smile. We did 5 different set ups and 2 outfit changes. I loved that she also took family photos with the grandparents. The turn around time for all the photos were 2 weeks but she did provide 2 photos a day later so that we could use them for his birthday. I've known about Mickey and Mini for a few years now via word of mouth but I've always been on the fence about paying for a photoshoot. In the end I'm so glad I did and I couldn't be happier with Mickey's photos. I booked the photoshoot a little over a month out but DO give yourself at least 2 months. She books up because she's good. Communication was great - very responsive and informative. She warned us that they have an extremely small window of cooperation. I was skeptical because I knew my kid - best mood is after he wakes up in the morning and a bottle of milk and he'll be good for hours. I couldn't be any more wrong. He was ok for the first 15 minutes and then everything just went downhill. At some point he was just not having it and Mickey called it and asked if maybe he needs a nap. All I could think was "no way he's only been awake for an hour" but I guess with all the new things and people, excitement wore him out and sure enough he passed out. I figured we would just have to reschedule but Mickey waited around until after his nap. He was in a better (still not the greatest) mood and we even managed to get a photo in with our dog which I told her I didn't need because he can also be uncooperative but she insisted and managed to get a great shot! She has a 2 week turnaround time but will offer you 2 photos to use for a birthday party. When the photos came, I nearly cried because of how amazing they turned out. You don't see the chaos of the day, just the happy baby that I know. I've done my homework and I've searched around for different photographers and prices and styles and Mickey always came out to be the best use of your money. Not only does she come to your home but she provides the props, CUTE CLOTHES, cake and loads of baby distractions. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend her. read more

A friend recommended Mickey when I was looking for a photographer to do newborn sessions. Unfortunately, we missed the recommended timeframe for a newborn photoshoot and ended up doing a sitter session right after my baby was able to sit on her own unassisted. We received the photos after 2 weeks and we were not disappointed. Even my husband who I had to convince that we needed professional photos of our baby was happy with how the photos turned out. I was looking for a photographer to take newborn photos and Mickey came recommended in a local mom group, and upon first interaction, it was obvious why. I reached out to her immediately and was able to get an appointment right in the first 2 week window. She was very easy to communicate with via email before the appointment and gave us a run down of what to expect on the day of. Edited photos arrived 2 weeks after the shoot as promised. The main reasons I picked Mickey over other photographers were that she comes to your home and takes health safety seriously (she had a mask on the entire time). This was important since our baby was under 2 weeks old, so I had no desire to go to a studio. She brought everything for the shoot, down to the outfits & props for my newborn.
