Took my wife to this nail salon on Saturday for a gel manicure. She decided to go in on a whim and we were impressed by how clean this place was and how friendly the staff was. It also did not have that overwhelming smell that is customary in a nail salon. The lady who did the manicure was nice and professional. My wife brought a picture from Pinterest of what she wanted for her nails. The nail tech helped pick a nail color that was similar to the Pinterest picture, but was better suited for my wife's skin tone. It was perfect. While I was sitting there another lady came in. She was asked to pick out a color by the nail tech. The lady smiled at the nail tech and said "That is your job".... the nail tech told us that the lady only trusted her to pick out her color because she likes her taste. My wife told her that "after todays experience, she couldn't agree more". I didn't catch the name of the nail tech, but I know she is the daughter in-law of the owner. So, we'll come back here again... maybe I'll get a pedicure and update this review! read more

This is the only place I'll go in Sierra Vista to have a manicure and pedicure. I love that their shellac/gelish manicure lasts for over a month without chipping. I know this won't always be the case, but at Tip to Toe, they really take their time -important since shellac/gelish is technique sensitive. I love these folks. Very very nice, great prices, excellent work, and they make room for you according to your schedule. They are my first choice, hands down. I've been coming here for more than a year, and I buy gift cards for my F/F for here, and never heard any complaints. The people from 2015 must have gone to a different place, because here you *do* get a massage, hot towels, and all the rest, too, and all for excellent prices. Called on the same day for a pedicure and a Gelish Manicure. Tim got me in within 1/2 an hour. The salon is very nice clean new equipment you can watch them sanitize the tools ( a big plus for me). My pedi was wonderful, I did not feel rushed or neglected. Foot rub was great my poor piggies needed it. Next was my gelish, and I was pleasantly surprised to get an ACTUAL manicure with it. so many places just file the edges and ram you dry cuticles back (if they do that at all). After my polish was dry i was treated to a hand massage to send me out the door. $55 for both is a steal! read more

Nope. Lacking proper sanitation. The whole place smelled like bad Chinese food. The pedicure baths were not properly cleaned/sanitized when switching people. They used the same tools on people without sterilizing. The lamps to dry your nails barely lit up. Everything was old. The price is good, but the same as other places in town that are much cleaner and nicer. read more

Awful!! Based on earlier reviews, we were looking forward to an expert manicure. Something must have happened in the last year because I see now that more recent reviewers have also had a bad experience at Tip to Toe. If I could give it a NO star rating, I would. My previous gel manicure was removed with a rotary sanding tool rather than acetone, cotton and a scraping tool used in other salons. I was afraid she was going to grind all the way through the nailbed with that sander. When she was finished filing, the gelish product she applied seemed old and thick and left me with a lumpy, uneven nail surface which cracked in less than a week. However, at least I have fingernails. My friend's experience left her with stubs too short to get french tips. We think her manicurist might have been a trainee. Save yourself some grief and go elsewhere. read more

Boy do I miss a great pedicure, it just seems so different from El Paso. I actually had to correct my nails at home, she asked me if I wanted my nails cut more I said yes she ignored it and went on with her business. Not happy!! Horrible service! I went for a pedicure and the girl did not know what she was doing, I ended up with a chemical burn on both my feet. I asked for a refund and they told me only if I signed something saying I wouldn't sue! All I wanted was my money back because I shouldn't have paid in the 1st place. Time off work for a trip to the doctor with burn cream and antibiotics and I am still in pain a week later. The manager was rude and I have since found out that they have several lawsuits going against them. read more

I live in phx and occasionally visit my inlaws in Sierra vista. Saw this place had great reviews so went there. First off, $30 for just a gel polish for my hands!! No manicure just polish change. The lady with long hair and glasses did it and she kept bouncing from me to another customer. Hello? If you commit to 1 person don't overbook. She would come to me then do some work and half of the time looking away talking to her coworker. Then she would jump off to the next table and just leave me hanging. Took over an hr just for a polish change! Now my nails looked great when I left but 4 hrs later I felt something in my finger and noticed she had painted the top coat over my skin a little bit and not cleaned it off and it was already peeling as a result. 4 hrs later! Isn't gel supposed to last 2-3 wks? So I called her right away to let her know I was coming back in and she kept saying its not their fault and they will first have to see it before promising to fix it. I was annoyed and went in and she tried to fix it by filing the ends but I told her it was starting to peel. She then fixed it the right way and apologized. Then i came back to phx and the whole thing peeled off within a week. What a waste of $30 and my time! Not going back. read more

Nice, clean and quiet salon. I appreciated the quietness. I came in for a pedicure and decided on a deluxe pedicure. The nail lady asked me to place my feet in the water, she slapped some scrub on feet and legs, then asked me to put my feet back in water. She used paper towels to wipe away the remaining scrub that was not removed with water and then dried my feet and said she was done. That's it!!! No massage chair nothing. Where is the deluxe pedicure??? Just wasted $35. Sorry but I don't feel bad about not leaving a tip. I could have done this myself. read more
