I wish this place was closer because I would be coming here almost every day I feel like! I will say that the only thing that is horrendous about this place is their parking lot. I have never wanted to leave to go somewhere else because of parking but this was the place. It is very tough to get a spot here and it is crazy small the lot so I was basically bumper to bumper with other cars in the little back area here. The staff though, insanely fast and friendly. I was able to get my order placed and everything came out fast and prompt with no hiccups. I like that at this place, there is a button on the table that you press to call your server over and they would arrive so darn quick! The food, the star of the place. Everything that I had was cooked to perfection and the flavors were out of this world! I got the parrillada mixta, which was $30, consisting of a grilled chicken breast, pork chop, grilled steak and two sides. I had rice and beans for the side. The chicken breast was flavorful and massive! The pork chop was seasoned well and had a nice juicy flavor to it and the steak was phenomenal and cooked perfectly! The chicken empanada appetizer was also very good and the sauce it came with was the standout of the dish, it had a perfect zesty flavor! The place is very nicely lit and it makes you feel like you are in someone's backyard with the way they designed it and it was very welcoming! Amazing place for authentic Colombian food! Came here to celebrate my mom's birthday and it did not disappoint! Finding the restaurant was easy but will note their is limited parking in the front so they offer additional overflow parking in the back. However, it is pretty tight so keep that in mind! Going inside was spacious and beautifully decorated. Instantly greeted and given our seats. The interesting thing they do here is that each table has a service / call button so you can easily get your server's attention when you're ready to order or need assistance. More places should have this! The food itself was incredible and while my steak too a big longer to come out versus everyone else's meal I didn't mind as I knew my meal was going to be incredible and fresh off the grill lol. The steak was tender and juicy every bite filled with delicious flavor. Now paired with the white rice and tostones? I was in heaven. The whole family enjoyed their meals! My sister got one of their bowls and it looked so good I was tempted to order one to go for me! The staff was friendly and service was perfect. I've tried the perros calientes in the past but this time I was just looking for some kind of breakfast or coffee and I found this wonderful restaurant. Great service, nice and friendly. I ordered to go empanadas (they were ok the sauce was better) and pan de bono( were on point). I also ordered café con leche( coffee with milk) it was not strong I was a little disappointed. Ordered: The bandeja Paisa, It was served with meat, sausage, a fried egg, plantains, avocado and rice and beans. (The beans were tasty), The meat was tender. I loved that the presentation and food temperature was excellent. For beverage I ordered the coconut lemonade and it was refreshing and delicious. The bandeja Paisa was by far the best one I had eaten in South Florida. We commend Dylan who took good care of us and also the Manager Jaime who came to checked on us and asked if we needed anything. I will definitely recommend this restaurant. Food prices are reasonable and the food portions are very generous. I will definetly return for enjoy and repeat this wonderful dining experience. a bit disappointed 2nd time i come here n its not what i expected they said that the happy hr was not happy hr that it was buy one get another half off i was ok. hmm she kept on pushing for there margarita said ok had one on the rocks it honestly was lemon gatoraid with salt called the server they said o they use some other type of liquor that's softer cuz they don't have licenses to sell strong stuff dont understand but they charge u full price like if its hard tequila. i told them weird because the location in sunrise u do taste it! they said well its the sunrise location i replied interesting. i told them bring me a glass of merlot instead pls n they took the margarita back. i mean tell us u don't use strong tequila n i decide weather to get it or not. we just order appetizers at the moment n u no what we stayed at that. the water we asked in the beginning they brought it at almost the end as well as the salsa verde n hot sauce. the chicarrón was all fat. the mini empanadas were good. the sad part was that one of the servers was also named after me claudia so it's not like i would forget it. at the end we ask for the check n left i finish my red wine n my spouse left actually his maracuya margarita that if u ask us it was just a fruit juice. long story short went to the food trucks we go to always get good service and food. the music was good but if u don't have good drinks and service u can not enjoy the music very disappointed wont be stoping by for a while. read more
